Maintenance disclosures
THE PILOT WAS IN CRUISE TO KSLC WHEN HE DISCOVERED HIS RT BRAKE PEDAL COULD NOT BUILD PRESSURE TO APPLY THE BRAKES. THE PILOT INFORMED ATC AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, THEN LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND NO RIGHT BRAKING POWER IN KSLC. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO TAXI TO PARKING MAKING ALL LT TURNS. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE RT NR 3 AND NR 4 BRAKES FOR DEFECTS AND FOUND A LEAK TO BE FROM A SHARED MANIFOLD FITTING O-RING, BETWEEN THE BRAKE HOUSINGS. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH O-RINGS GOING TO EACH RESPECTIVE BRAKE HOUSING AND SERVICED AND BLED THE RT BRAKE SYSTEM. OPERATION OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS NORMAL AND NO LEAKS WERE NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED SERVICE AND NO SUBSEQUENT ISSUES HAVE BEEN REPORTED.
APPROACHING, THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE LG DID NOT RECEIVE 3 GREEN DOWN & LOCKED INDICATION WITH THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION. THE PILOT PERFORMED THE EMER EXTENSION PROCEDURES & CONFIRMED THE LG WAS DOWN & LOCKED. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMER & LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND THE LG CONTROL CB WAS OPEN. R & R THE CB. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECKS ON JACKS. THE LG SYS OPERATIONS CHECKED SATISFACTORY. CONTROL CB TIME IN SERVICE IS UNKNOWN, ON CONDITION PART.
DURING CLIMB OUT, AT 9000â THE LG IN TRANSIT WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. FOUND THE LG CONTROL RELAY CB POPPED & RESET IT, THE LG WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. MADE TWO ATTEMPTS TO RECYCLE THE LG AT THIS POINT THE âHYD FLUID LOWâ ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. RETURNED & PERFORMED A MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION IAW AMF PROCEDURES & RECEIVED LG DOWN & LOCKED INDICATION. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. TROUBLE SHOT THE LG SYS & FOUND A LOOSE T FITTING ON GEAR RETRACT HYD LINE AFT OF THE POWER PACK NEXT TO THE SERVICE VLV. RE-TORQUED FITTING IAW STANDARD PRACTICES. PERFORMED GEAR SWING, BLEED HYD SYS & PERFORMED A LG FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW AMM. THE LG SYS OPERATIONS CHECK & LEAK CHECKED SATISFACTORY.
