ENTRANCE STAIR HAND RAIL: WHILE RETRACTING THE STAIRS, THE UPPER RAILING ELBOW JOINT ON THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE DOOR BROKE LOOSE. //SIGNOFF// REPAIRED UPPER RAILING ELBOW JOINT I.A.W GLOBAL 5000 AMM 52-11-2. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
AT 410 AUTO PILOT KICKED OFF. ENTERED SLIGHT LT ROLL, HARD TO BRING WINGS LEVEL. EXECUTED CHECKLIST USING PILOT SIDE FOR ROLL CONTROL & DIVERTED. NO PANELS OR DAMAGE TO WING. ALL OTHER CONTROLS NORMAL. AILERON CONTROL MINIMAL UNTIL LOWER ALTITUDE & SLOWER SPEED. NEVER RETURNED TO NORMAL. INSPECTED ALL PCU'S, FOUND HYD FLUID RESIDUE ON PCUS. CLEANED PCUS & PERFORMED LEAK CHECK IAW MM 27-11-25. NO LEAKS NOTED. LOWERED FLAPS. INSPECTED ALL AILERON WING CABLES, NO DEFECTS NOTED. AILERON SYS OPS CKS IAW MM 27-11-00, ALL TRAVELS CK'D GOOD, NO BINDING NOTED, DID NOTICED A GRINDING SOUND EMINATING FROM THE RT AILERON PCU BEARINGS. CP/CN RT AILERON PCU TOGGLE LINK AFT BOLTS & BEARING REPLACED WITH NEW UNITS. VISUAL INSPECTION OF AILERON PULLEYS & PULLEY COVER LOCATED IN LT WHEEL WELL. NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFORMED SEVERAL MORE CYCLES OF AILERON SYS. NO FAULTS NOTED. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM 27-11-00.
EMER LIGHTS OFF AMBER CAS: EMER LIGHTS OFF CAS MESSAGE ON WITH EMER LIGHTS SWITCH IN ON AND OFF POSITIONS. EMERGENCY LIGHTS ILLUMINATE WITH SWITCH IN ON POSITION. // SIGNOFF// FOUND LOOSE GROUND ON #2 ELPS CONNECTED THE GROUND STRAP IAW GL-500 WM 33-51-01 REV 38 OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE ELPS C/W IAW GL-5000 AMM 33-51-00-710-801 REV 38 NO DEFECTS NOTED
MAIN ENTRY DOOR HANDLE ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE DIFFICULT TO USE. THE DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES NORMALLY. FOUND ON POST-FLIGHT. TROUBLESHOT MAIN ENTRY DOOR HANDLE ON INSIDE AND OUTSIDE DIFFICULT TO USE. CLEANED MAIN SEAL AND LUBED PAX DOOR, IAW GL5000VFD AMM CH 12-22-00. PERFORMED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONS TEST OF PASSENGER DOOR, IAW GL500VFD AMM CH 52-11-01 INSIDE AND OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES ARE NO LONGER DIFFICULT TO USE.
LH #1 HYDRAULIC TUBE BRACKET SUPPORT (P/N GD477-1670-5) IN AFT SERVICE BAY HAS ELONGATED HOLE. REPAIRED IAW BOMBARDIER DWG KGC99-1578-3 & BOMBARDIER DWG KGC991-1578-3L
LEFT OUTLET BELOW THE OVEN TEMP CONTROL SPARKED AND BURNED A CHARGER WHEN INSERTED INTO IT. FOUND BOTH OUTLETS BELOW OVEN TEMP CONTROLLER DEFECTIVE, REPLACED 2 OUTLETS UNDER OVEN TEMP CONTROLLER WITH NEW OUTLETS IN REF WITH GL500 SPM 20-21-00, OPS CHECKED GOOD
DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, THE MICROWAVE CB TRIPPED & LOCKED. A POP & A FAINT ELEC SMELL WERE OBSERVED BY THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT. DEFERRED IAW MEL. MX PROCEDURE ACCOMPLISHED. REPLACED MICROWAVE IAW MM 25-70-01 & REPLACED AC-PDE-5 IAW MM 24-52-52. ALL SYSTEMS OPERATIONALLY CHECKED GOOD. MICROWAVE REMOVED, PN 400-2577-01, SN 13-10-53051. INSTALLED PN 400-2577-01, SN 11-12-49712. REPLACED AC POWER DISTRIBUTION EQT, REMOVED PN 10719B01E01, SN 13092917DA & INSTALLED PN 10719B01E01 & SN 08071112CD.
