DURING TAKEOFF FROM KMTJ THE PILOTS NOTICED THAT THE AIRSPEED INDICATIONS WERE IN DISAGREE, THEY CONTINUED TO CLIMB AND DETERMINED THAT THE DISAGREEMENT WAS WITH THE NR 1, NR 2 AND THE STANDBY SYSTEM SO THEY RETURNED TO KMTJ AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE WAS NOTIFIED AND THE PITOT STATIC SYSTEM WAS CHECKED AND CERTIFIED OK FOR SERVICE WITH THE FAULT CAUSED BY MOISTURE IN THE SYSTEM. THERE WAS A HARD RAIN THE PREVIOUS NIGHT WITH THE AIRCRAFT OUTSIDE, ALL PORTS WERE COVERED WITH THE STANDARD PITOT COVERS.
NR 1 ENGINE LOW WARNING ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT. NG DROPPED AND FLICKERED BEFORE BECOMING ZERO. ENGINE RETARDED TO GROUND IDLE, ALL OTHER INDICATIONS NORMAL. AIRCRAFT LANDED NORMALLY ON ONE ENGINE. NR 1 ENGINE NG TACHOMETER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOUND DETACHED FROM TACH. CONNECTOR RESECURED AND GROUND TEST CARRIED OUT. OPERATION FOUND TO BE NORMAL. ALL OTHER ENGINE TACH GENERATORS INSPECTED FOR CONNECTOR SECURITY AND FOUND SECURE.
FOLLOWING LANDING, PILOT NOTED HYDRAULIC LEAK FROM NOSE BAY AREA. DEFECT REPORTED. EXAMINATION REVEALED LEAK TO ORIGINATE FROM TUBE ASSY. SUBMITTER STATED CAUSE WAS CHAFING OF PIPE BY NOSE WHEEL DOOR ACTUATING ROD. DIFFICULT TO LOCATE DUE TO PROXIMITY OF STRUCTURE. FLEET A/C BEING CHECKED FOR SATISFACTORY CLEARANCE BETWEEN TUBES AND ACTUATING ROD.
DURING A ROUTINE 100-HOUR INSPECTION, FOD DAMAGE FOUND TO RT ENGINE AXIAL COMPRESSOR ROTORS AND STATOR VANES. UNABLE TO ESTABLISH EXACT SOURCE OF FOD. OPERATOR TO REVIEW CURRENTLY USED LANDING SITES.
