TYS A/C IS IN FOR A C-CHECK WHEN INSPECTION FOUND A CRACK IN THE REAR FUSELAGE SKIN AT FRAME 75 AND STRINGER 2R. MAINTENANCE CUTOUT A 2" BY 2" SECTION OF SKIN AND INSTALLED A FILLER AND DOUBLER IAW SRM 51-31-01. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED AND WILL BE RELEASED AT THE END OF THE CHECK.
CREW REPORTED AN ELECTRICAL ODOR AFTER CAPTAINS MFD WENT BLANK. MAINTENANCE R & R CAPTAIN`S MFD WITH OPS CHECK GOOD. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED MFD 1 IS OUT WITH BURNING ODOR IN FLIGHT DECK. THE ACFT LANDED IN ECP WITHOUT INCIDENT WHERE MAINTENANCE PLACED THE AFFECTED MFD ON MEL 34-22-01-1 AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. MAINTENANCE R & R THE NR 1 MFD, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, REMOVED THE MEL, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED A FUEL ODOR COMING FROM APU BLEED. AFTER ROTATION WHEN APU WAS PROVIDING AIR TO THE PACKS. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE APU FUEL CONTROL ASSY. OPS CHECKED WERE GOOD.
CREW REPORTED A BURNING ODOR BEFORE LANDING. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED TROUBLESHOOTING AND NO UNUSUAL ODORS COULD BE DETECTED OR REPRODUCED. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS INTERMITTENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS. NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
ACFT WAS ON TAKEOFF WHEN A BIRD HIT THE NOSE. ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE BAD RIVETS AND INSTALL 5 OF A OVERSIZE RIVETS. ALODINED, PRIMED AND PAINTED IAW SRM 51-40-02 AND CPM 51-=21-07. PERFORMED A HIGH FREQUENCY EDDY CURRENT INSPECTION OF AREA. SOP 5711, NO DEFECTS NOTED AND WAS RELEASED BACK TO SERVICE.
DURING MX INSPECTION, THE LT OVERWING EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS FOUND INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED BULB, CLEANED DEBRIS FROM SOCKET AND REINSTALLED BULB, OPS CHECKED GOOD. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED A STRONG SMOKE ODOR, CIGARETTE & PAPER ODOR EMITTING FROM MCD, F/A JUMPSEAT, AROUND EQUIPMENT CLOSET. THE ACFT RETURNED, WHERE IT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE ACFT AND FOUND THE NR 1 WINDSHIELD TEMP CONTROLLER TO HAVE MELTED TERMONAL LUGS. MAINTENANCE R & R THE AFFECTED WINDSHIELD TEMP CONTROLLER, OPS TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, ANDTHE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
F/A REPORTED AN ODOR COMING FROM THE GALLEY COFFEEMAKERS. MAINTENANCE CLEANED THE WARMERS ON BOTH COFFEE BREWERS AND PERFORMED AN OPS CHECK, CHECKED GOOD, WITH NO BURNING ODORS DETECTED. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
A "BRAKE DEGRADE" MESSAGE APPEARED ON EICAS DURING LANDING AND REPORTED MORE THAN NORMAL BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE NEEDED. ACFT PULLED TO THE LEFT. R & R NR 4 BRAKE ASSY, TEMP SENSOR, HYD FUSE AND BRAKE CONTROL VALVE, OPS CHECKED SUCCESSFUL. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

DURING C-CHECK, INSPECTION FOUND VERTICAL STAB SPAR TO FRAME 75 FRETTING AT THE FUSELAGE. MAINTENANCE COMPLIED WITH THE EC 5310-01317 TO REMOVED FITTING, REMOVED CORROSION, CHECK LIMITS AND REINSTALL FITTING.
PILOT REPORTED A STRONG ODOR OF PLASTIC/ELECTRICAL SMOKE INFLIGHT DURING DESCENT WITH THE TOP OF GLARESHIELD/AVIONICS PANEL EXTREMELY HOT TO THE TOUCH. MX INSPECTED CABIN AND COCKPIT FOR PLASTIC/ELECTRICAL ODOR WITH NONE FOUND OR NOTED. ALSO RAN BOTH ENGINES AND BLEEDS PACKS WITH NO ODOR NOTED. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE BACKUP BATTERY PUSHBUTTON SWITCH, AND CONTACTOR K0305, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE BACKUP BATTERY PUSHBUTTON SWITCH, AND CONTACTOR K0305, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
CLE FLT 2521 CREW REPORTED THAT THE SPOILERS OPENED ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT APPROXIMATELY 100 KIAS. THE SPOILERS INDICATED OPEN ON THE EICAS SYSTEM. THE CREW THEN ABORTED THE TAKEOFF AND RETURNED TO THE GATE WITHOUT INCIDENT. CLE MAINTENANCE CHECKED ALL SPOILER PROXIMITY SWITCHES AND LANDING GEAR WHEEL HUBS FOR PROPER INSTALLATION AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. CLE MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE SPOILER CONTROL UNIT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE PERFORMED AND THE DISCREPANCY WAS CLEARED.
SECOND FLOOR PROXIMITY EMERGENCY LIGHT STRIP INOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT INVERTER IAW EMB 145 AMM 33-50-11.
IAD FLT 3153 THE CREW REPORTED A BLEED NR 1 OVERTEMP INDICATION IN FLIGHT DURING ICING CONDITIONS. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED INTO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 FAN AIR CONTROL THERMOSTAT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT CLL WITHOUT INCIDENT WHERE MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NUMBER ONE PFD, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

BRO FLIGHT 3229 - THE CREW REPORTED SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT WHILE ARRIVING AT THE GATE. THE WINDSHIELD LEADS WERE RESECURED. LATER THAT DAY AT IAH, FLIGHT 3295, THE AIRCRAFT DISPLAYED A WINDSHIELD NR 2 HEAT FAIL MESSAGE. THE WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

ORF - DURING PREFLIGHT INSPECTION, THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE SERVICE DOOR EXIT SIGN NOT ILLUMINATING WHEN TESTED. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AN OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTING SYSTEM AND THE SERVICE DOOR EXIT SIGN OPERATED NORMALLY WITHOUT ANY DEFECTS NOTED. MAINTENANCE THEN CLEARED THE DISCREPANCY.
DURING C CHECK THE CENTER RAMP ANGLE AT FRAME 20 WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE AFFECTED ANGLE IAW EMB 145 SRM 51-40-02. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

DURING C-CHECK THE NR 2 INTAKE WAS FOUND TO BE GOUGED AT 12 O'CLOCK. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE DAMAGED AREA AND INSTALLED A CHAFE STRIP IAW EC 5410-01067. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
SHV - DURING C-CHECK THE SERVICE DOOR CENTER SILL WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE DAMAGED AREA AND PERFORMED A DOUBLER REPAIR IAW EMB 145 SRM 53-21-02. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

CLE FLIGHT 2317 THE CREW REPORTED THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE INVERTER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CLE FLIGHT 2058 THE CREW REPORTED 2 EMERGENCY AISLE PATH LIGHT STRIPS WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT INVERTER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CLT FLIGHT NR 2223 THE CREW REPORTED NR 1 FLOOR PROXIMITY STRIP INOP. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 2 EMERGENCY LIGHT INVERTER,OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
THE CREW REPORTED THE FIRST ROW OF EMERGENCY LIGHTS WILL NOT ILLUMINATE. MAINTENANCE RESECURED WIRE, OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CLE FLIGHT 2104 THE CREW REPORTED THE FIRST SECTION OF AISLE PATH LIGHTING WAS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE EMERGENCY LIGHT INVERTER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CREW REPORTED THAT ON DESCENT THE FLAPS WOULD NOT EXTEND. THE AIRCRAFT ACCOMPLISHED AN EMERGENCY DESCENT AND LANDED AT IAH WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE LEFT FLAP TRANSMISSION BRAKE TO HAVE FAILED. THE AFFECTED FLAP BRAKE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED, THE SYSTEM OPERATIONALLY CHECKED, AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
