#1 HYD LOW QTY FOLLOWED BY HYD SYSTEM 1 FAIL ON CLIMB OUT. #1 HYD LOW QTY MESSAGE CAME ON DURING CLIMB OUT OF IAH/ QTY WAS SHOWING AMBER. SAW THE CARROTS WERE SLOWLY MOVING DOWN THEN LOST SYSTEM 1 HYD PRESSURE AND THEN #1 HYD SYSTEM FAILURE MESSAGE APPEARED. #1 EDP WAS RUNNING FOR 30 MINUTES. ONCE ON THE GROUND THEY SHUTDOWN THE #1 ENGINE AND TURNED OFF #1 ELECTRICAL PUMP IN FLIGHT. REMOVED AND REPLACED #1 HYDRAULIC EDP. CASE DRAIN / PRESSURE FILTER BOWL WAS ABSENT OF CONTAMINATION. UPON OPS CHECK, FOUND UPPER HYDRAULIC HOSE FROM EDP SEVERELY LEAKING WITH A 1 INCH GASH. REMOVED AND REPLACED UPPER HYDRAULIC HOSE. OPS AND LEAK CHECK SAT. ADDED 5 LITERS OF HYDRAULIC FLUID DUE TO HYD SYSTEM #1 WAS EMPTY. PERFORMED LANDING FREE FALL CONDITION-INSP CHECK. INSP/CHECK SAT.

DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE 5A INSPECTION, THE NR 1 ENGINE LOWER FORWARD MOUNT YOKE FITTING WAS FOUND CRACKED. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE YOKE FITTING IAW SB 145-54-0013 AND ETD 2014-145-073164.
DURING MX INSPECTION THE AFT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT WAS FOUND INOPERATIVE. R & R BULB, OPS CHECKED SUCCESSFUL. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE PAX DOOR LOWER FRAME WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED AROUND THE NUTPLATE HOLES FOR THE DOOR LINER FASTENERS. MX REMOVED THE CORROSION AND PERFORMED A DOUBLER REPAIR IAW EC5210-01154. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE RT ENGINE FWD LOWER MOUNT YOKE WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED AND VERIFIED WITH EDDY CURRENT. MX R & R THE YOKE IAW EC5450-01073. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE LT OMEGA BEAM WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED AT FRAME 20. MX REMOVED THE CORROSION AND PERFORMED A DOUBLER REPAIR IAW SRM 53-00-10. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED AT 800 FT. SMOKE BEGAN BILLOWING INTO THE COCKPIT AND CABIN THEN HAD APU FAIL MESSAGE. MX INSPECTED AND NOTICED STRONG ODOR OF DEICE FLUID WHEN RUNNING BLEED SYS. ODOR DISAPPATED WITHIN 15-20 MINUTES WITH PACKS ON AND DID NOT RETURN. ENGINE RUNS PRODUCED NO UNUSUAL ODOR. NO SMOKE EITHER.
THE CREW REPORTED NR 3 TIRE BLEW ON TAKEOFF. PERFORMED EMERGENCY LANDING. MX REPLACED THE NR 3 AND NR 4 MAIN WHEEL ASSEMBLIES. THE ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
FLT 2494 EWR-MCI CREW REPORTED 3 BANGS DURING GEAR RETRACTION AFTER TAKEOFF. CREW PERFORMED AIR RETURN BACK TO EWR UNEVENTFULLY. EWR MX REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR STRUT SHOCK ABSORBER AND SERVICED IAW EMB145 AMM 32-10-02 AND EC3210-01184. ACFT WAS TEST FLOWN AND OPERATIONALLY CHECKED SATISFACTORY AND APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
CLE FLT 2354 THE CREW REPORTED A BANGING NOISE DURING GEAR RETRACTION. THE CREW SEEMED TO THINK IT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WHEELS SPINNING. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE BRAKE CONTROL UNIT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TEST FLOWN AND NO DEFETS WERE NOTICED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
CLE FLT 2250 THE CREW REPORTED AN APU FIRE DETECT FAIL MESSAGE ON THE EICAS DURING TAXI. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED PLACED THE APU FIRE DETECT SYSTEM AND THE APU ON MEL. SUPPLEMENT TO FOLLOW.

FLIGHT 2909 - DCA - FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT UPON GEAR RETRACTION WIND NOISE HEARD FROM NOSE AREA. EWR MX REMOVED AND REPLACED NOSE GEAR DOOR SOLENOID VALVE AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK SUCCESSSFULLY. ACFT WAS APPROVED TO RETURN TO SERVICE.
IAH - FLT 2548 THE CREW REPORTED A NR 1 ENGINE LOW OIL PRESSURE WARNING IN FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED INTO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 ENGINE LOW OIL PRESSURE SWITCH. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.

SHV - DURING C-CHECK LT OMEGA BEAM HAS CORROSION BETWEEN FR 23-30. REPAIRED OMEGA BEAM IAW EMB 145 SRM 53-00-10. AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
SHV - DURING C-CHECK RT OMEGA BEAM BETWEEN FRAME 60-61 HAS CORROSION (LEVEL 2 LOCAL) AT NUT PLATE HOLE. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED REPAIR ON RT OMEGA BEAM BETWEEN FRAME 60-61 AT NUT PLATE HOLE IAW EC5310-01473. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

FLIGHT 2899 - EWR - FLIGHT CREW REPORTED EICAS WENT BLANK IN FLIGHT, ACCOMPANIED BY ELECTRICAL ODOR. EWR MX REMOVED AND REPLACED EICAS DISPLAY UNIT AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK SUCCESSFULLY. ACFT WAS APPROVED TO RETURN TO SERVICE.

IAH-FLIGHT 2352 - THE CREW REPORTED THAT AFTER TAKEOFF THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT INITIALLY RETRACT, AND HAD THE ASSOCIATED DISAGREE MESSAGE ON EICAS. THE ACFT LANDED AT IAH WITHOUT INCIDENT WHERE MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LANDING GEAR LEVER. OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. (S)

TYS DURING A 2C INSPECTION THE RT VERTICAL STAB SPHERICAL BEARING WAS FOUND TO BE OUT OF LIMITS. MAINTENANCE REAMED THE HOLE TO THE FIRST OVERSIZE IAW EC 5510-01080. ALL WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND WILL BE RELEASED UPON COMPLETION OF ALL 2C WORK.
IAH - FLIGHT 3170, DURING PRE-FLIGHT INSPECTION, THE CREW REPORTED THE EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT ABOVE ROW 12 TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT, REMOVED AND REPLACED THE AFFECTED EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY POWER SUPPLY, OPERATIONALLY CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT IAH WITHOUT INCIDENT WHERE MAINTENANCE PLACED THE PAX SYSTEM ON MEL 21-30-00/1 CAT C CONTORL NUMBER 060980, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. ON 10/20/05 THE AIRCRAFT RON'D AT MCI WHERE MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LEFT HAND PACK CONTROL VALVE, OPERATIONALLY CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS, REMOVED THE MEL, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
