LANDING GEAR CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER OPENED WHEN THE PILOT SELECTED GEAR-DOWN. THE LANDING GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED A WIRE HAD CHAFED THROUGH AND SHORTED TO THE AIRFRAME IN THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT.

LANDING GEAR FAILED TO FULLY EXTEND WHEN SELECTED. THE GEAR WAS PUMPED DOWN MANUALLY. THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL CIRCUIT WAS FOUND OPEN THROUGH THE SWITCH, WHICH DETECTS THAT THE NOSE ACTUATOR IS IN THE EXTENDED TO THE DOWN POSITION. WHEN THIS SWITCH FAILED, IT TURNED OFF ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK.

WHEN GEAR WERE LOWERED FOR LANDING, DID NOT HAVE 3 GREEN GEAR LIGHTS. PILOT TRIED PRESS TO TEST OF BULBS & TURNED DIMMING OFF TO NO AVAIL. PILOT TERMINATED APPROACH & GOT VISUAL CONFIRMATION FROM TOWER THAT GEAR WAS DOWN. PILOT EVENTUALLY SAW ALL 3 GEAR LIGHTS WERE GREEN, BUT EXTREMELY DIM. PILOT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR HAD AN INTERMITTENT FAILURE.

PILOT REDUCED POWER FROM CRUISE TO PERFORM A MANEUVER. WHEN POWER WAS RE-APPLIED THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE RT ENG. POWER LEVER WAS CYCLED BACK & FORTH SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO EFFECT. PILOT ELECTED TO SHUT DOWN THE ENG & RETURNED TO LAND WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TEARDOWN OF THE FUEL CONTROL UNIT REVEALED A FAILED BELLOWS ASSEMBLY.
