CREW REPORTED-PASSENGER DESCRIBED A WHOMPING SOUND FOLLOWED BY A âBUCKET DRAGGING ACROSS THE PLANEâ. NO EICAS INDICATIONS SHOWN OR ANYTHING ABNORMAL FROM THE FLIGHT DECK. THE SOUND FROM THE FLIGHT DECK SOUNDED LIKE A LOW RUMBLE. CORR ACTION- MX PERFORMED GVI OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF A/C, OPERATED PACKS AND PRESSURED CABIN AND COULD IDENTIFY NO ABNORMAL SOUNDS OR RUMBLING AT THIS TIME. SUSPECT IT WAS ICE COMING OFF THE AIRCRAFT.
DURING MX INSPECTION THE #3 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WILL NOT ILLUMINATE LIGHTS. MX R&R #3 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY WITH OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
DURING MX INSPECTION THE #1 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WILL NOT ILLUMINATE LIGHTS. MX R&R #1 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY WITH OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD.
IAH - FLIGHT 4309 MX REPORTED THAT THE EMERGENCY LIGHT CEILING PANEL AISLE LIGHT #2 ND R/H FWD EXTERIOR LIGHT WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NUMBER TWO BATTERY CHARGER, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C CHECK INSPECTION A CRACK WAS FOUND ON CARGO DOOR SKIN AT HANDLE HOUSING CUT-OUT. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED CRACK IAW 52-30-01.
RIGHT INBOARD FLAP FAIRING INBOARD SUPPORT CORRODED. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED INBOARD FLAP SUPPORT IAW SRM 51-70-06. ITEM 3 REPAIR OF EXPANDED COPPER FOIL.
CORRECTION: RIGHT INBOARD FLAP DELAMINATED. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED INBOARD FLAP IAW SRM 51-72-09. ITEM 3 TYPE B ROOM TEMPERATURE REPAIR.

IAH - DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION THE NUMBER FLOUR EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE AFFECTED BATTERY PACK, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
STRONG ELECTRICAL BURNING ODOR IN THE CABIN. FOUND A SOCKET FOR A LIGHT AT A4 BURNED. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE CEILING LIGHT ASSY. OPS CHECKED GOOD. RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED A BURNING ODOR NEAR ROWS 2 & 3, AND WERE UNABLE TO TURN THE CABIN LIGHTS OFF. THE ACFT WAS FERRIED WHERE MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE ACFT. R & R THE CABIN LIGHT CONTROL MODULE, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DFECTS OR OTHER DISCREPANCIES NOTED, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

DURING C-CHECK, CARGO DOOR CUTOUT LOWER BEAM CORRODED BETWEEN FRAMES 65-68. R & R THE CUTOUT LOWER BEAM IAW SRM 51-40-02. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK, FRAME 65 HAS CORROSION AT LOWER CARGI DOOR GUIDE. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED THE FRAME BETWEEN STRINGERS 15-16L IAW EC5330-02975. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

THE CREW REPORTED NR 1 ENGINE FIRE DETECTOR FAIL MESSAGE IN FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 ENGINE PYLON FIRE LOOP. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
TWO DENTS AND A CREASE WERE FOUND ON THE LT FUSELAGE BETWEEN FRAME 20 AND 22. MAINTENANCE RECONTOURED DENTS FROM FRAME 20 THRU FRAME 22. INSTALL A FILLER AND DOUBLER ON THE CREASE AREA. PERFORMED A NDT AND NO CRACKS WERE NOTED. WORK WAS DONE IAW ETD 2014-145-023920. ALL WORK ACCOMPLISHED AND WAS RELEASED BACK TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED A FUEL LEAK FROM THE RIGHT WING. MX INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE RT WING FLAP VALVE. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
ACFT IS IN FOR A C-CHECK WHEN INSPECTION FOUND THE NR 1 ENGINE LOWER YOKE FWD KNUCKLE CRACKED. MX R & R THE FWD LOWER YOKE IAW EC 5450-01028, REV A. ALL WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND WILL BE RELEASED AT THE END OF ALL CHECKS.
RT AILERON MOST OTBD PCA ATTACHMENT POINT HAS NO INTERFERANCE FIT BETWEEN HAT BUSHING AND HOLE. R & R AILERON PCA BRACKET.
TWO GOUGES AFT OF MAIN CABIN DOOR. CUT OUT DAMAGED SKIN, FABRICATED, PRIMED, PAINTED AND INSTALLED PATCH. LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
THE CREW REPORTED THE NR 1 HYDRAULIC SYS WENT INTO THE AMBER RANGE IN FLIGHT. THE ACFT DIVERTED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MX INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 BRAKE SHUTTLE VALVE AND THE NR 4 BRAKE ASSY. OPS CHECKED GOOD. THE ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
FLT 4401, REPORTED E2 FIRE DET FAIL MESSAGE ON EICAS. MX REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 2 ENGINE FIRE DETECTION LOOP IAW AMM 26-11-01 WITH OPS CHECKED SUCCESSFUL. ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 3073 - FLIGHT CREW REPORTED ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL IN COCKPIT. EWR MX REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 2 W/S HEAT CONTROLLER AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK SUCCESSFULLY. ACFT WAS APPROVED TO RETURN TO SERVICE.
TYS - A/C WAS ON APPROACH WHEN THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE AILERONS FELT HEAVY. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED A DVI ON FORWARD AILERON QUADRANTS AT BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT PCA'S IAW EMB 145AMM-57-11-00. NO DEFECTS NOTED AND WAS RELEASED.
LT AILERON PCA OUTBOARD FITTING OUTBOARD HAT BUSHING FITTING DAMAGE (ELONGATED). REMOVED AND REPLACED PCA FITTING IAW EC5750-01177.
RT FRAME 10 IS CRACKED AT DV WINDOW. REMOVED AND REPLACED FRAME 10 IAW EMB 145 SRM 51-40-02.
ORD FLT 6023 - THE CREW REPORTED AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL FROM THE CLOSET AREA WHILE SITTING AT THE GATE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR SMELL ANY ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED NR 2 ENGINE HAD A SLIGHT FUEL SMELL. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND RAN NR 2 ENGINE. NO FUEL ODORS OR LEAKS WERE NOTED.
ORD FLT 5991 - THE CREW REPORTED THE EMERGENCY FLASHLIGHT BEHIND THE CAPTAIN SEAT WAS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE FLASHLIGHT BULB. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
BHM FLT 6992 THE CREW REPORTED A BATTERY 2 OVERTEMP INDICATION. AIRCRAFT WAS DIVERTED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 BATTERY AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
IND FLT 5686 THE CREW REPORTED A LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURIZATION INDICATIONS IN FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE DIGITAL PRESSURIZATION CONTROLLER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
PRESSURIZATION CABIN RATE ERRATIC FROM 10000FT TO SURFACE AUTO MODE PRESSURIZING BELOW FIELD ELEVATION AND MANUAL PRESSURIZATION MODE INOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED PNEUMATIC OUTFLOW VALVE IAW EMB 145AMM 21-31-04, OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE THE AFT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT WOULD NOT TEST. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 4 EMERGENCY LIGHT INVERTER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
OVERWING EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOP. REMOVED AND REPLACED FUSE ON NR 4 EMERGENCY BATTERY TRAY IAW RADIANT POWER CORP CMM25-60-83, OPS CHECK GOOD.
IAH - DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, THE AISLE PATH LIGHT STRIP AT ROW 19 WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED A BROKEN WIRE ON THE LIGHT STRIP, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
SHV - DURING C-CHECK LEFT AILERON UPPER SHROUD BONDING PLATE CORRODED. MX REPAIRED LT AILERON UPPER SHROUD BONDING PLATE IAW EC5750-01315. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED TO RETURN FOR SERVICE.
EWR LOG SQUAWK LAV SMOKE INFLIGHT. REMOVED AND REPLACED LAV SMOKE DETECTOR IAW EMB145 AMM26-14-01. OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE THE RT AND LT OVERWING EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 4 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY CHARGER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
