MAIN DOOR: AS THE AIRCRAFT REACHED CRUISE ALTITUDE, A LOUD BANGING SOUND CAME FROM THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. THE CABIN DIFFERENTIAL WAS AT 9.7. NO FLUCTUATION IN CABIN PRESSURIZATION WAS NOTED. CABIN ALTITUDE REMAINED AT 4500. WAITED FOR LINE SERVICE TO BRING THE AIRCRAFT IN THE HANGAR.FULLY OPENED THE PASSENGER DOOR TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE DOOR CHAIN THROUGH THE STEP PANEL ON THE PASSENGER STAIRS. UPON INITTAL INSPEC11ON OF THE DOOR CHAIN NOTED CORROSION ON THE CHAIN. TOOK PICTURES AND ADVISED MCC TO REPLACE THE CHAIN. MCC ELECTED TO CLEAN AND RE-INSTA[J_ THE CHAIN. PERFORMED REMOVAL OF THE PASSENGER DOOR CHAIN. NEED OK TO REINSTA[J_ PASSENGER DOOR CHAIN. ONCE REMOVED, CLEANED THE CORROSION ON THE CHAIN AND TREATED THE CHAIN WITH THE CORROSION PREVENTION & ~VBRICATION SPRAY AS REQUIRED. OK TO INSTA[J_ PASSENGER DOOR CHAIN.~ INSTALLED THE PASSENGER DOOR CHAIN AND ADJUSTED THE TENSIONER BOLT AND THE SAFETY BOLT TC PROPERLY TIGHTEN THE CHAIN AND SAFETIED THE BOLTS IAW GL6000 AMM 52-11-33. CONFIRMED THAT THE ACTUATOR RIGGING INDICATOR ON THE REAR OF THE ACTUATOR POINTS TO THE MARK. ALSO, CONFIRM THAT"FL"L_E RED MARK ON THE SPROCKET UNES UP WITH THE RED MARK ON THE ACTUATOR. MAIN DOOR UPPER HANDLE DISCONNECTED FROM LOWER ASSEMBLY. NEEDS MISSING FASTER. OTHER SIDE ALSO LOOSE. RESECURED AFT UPPER MAIN DOOR HANDRAIL. REPLACED MISSING SCREW FROM FORWARD LOWER HANDRAIL EXTENSION ATTACH POINT. PERFORMED SEVERAL OPS CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. NO MAIN DOOR RIGGING WAS ACCOMPLISHED. ALL IAW AMM 52-11-21.
DURING CLIMB OUT GOT A HYD 1 LO PRESS CAS MSG. LOOKING AT THE HYD SYNOPTIC #1 QTY SHOWS 0 & HYD 1 PRESSURE WAS 0. AFTER GAINING ACCESS TO AFT ACCESSORY COMP NOTED HYD FLUID SATURATING AREA. ON FURTHER INSP NOTED #1 ENG HYD RETURN LINE LOOSE & CHAFING BRACKET IB OF PYLON. BEGAN CLEAN UP OF HYD FLUID. REMOVED #1 ENGINE EDP PRESSURE LINE FROM PYLON BRACKET TO HYD MANIFOLD. LINE WAS NOT LOOSE; BULKHEAD FITTING IS LOOSE & WORN. RESECURED RACK AFTER CLEANING HYD FLUID RESIDUE FROM UNDER RACK MOUNTS #1 EDP PRESSURE LINE AT HYD MANIFOLD FOUND TO BE AT FAULT. PRESSURE LINE REPLACED #1 ACMP AND #1 EDP REPLACED, AFT EQUIPMENT BAY CLEANED #1 SYS HYD FILTERS REPLACED #1 HYD SYS FLUSHED/SERVICED & LEAK CHECKED.
MAIN DOOR: WHEN HOLDING THE DOOR CLOSE BUTTON, YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE BUTTON, UNTIL THE DOOR IS COMPLETLY UP. IF YOU LET GO AT ANYTIME BEFORE THE DOOR FREE FALLS TO THE OPEN POSITION.
THE BRAKES ARE VERY GRABBY DURING ALL PHASES OF GND OPERATION. LT BRAKE TEMPS ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN THE RT SIDE. STRONG PULSING WITH LIGHT BRAKE APPLICATION. PERFORMED OPS CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED PRESSURE CHECKS VIS OMS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CREW TAXIED THE AIRPLANE & DUPLICATED THE ISSUE. THE AIRPLANE JERKS FWD & AFT WITH SLIGHT BRAKE PRESSURE APPLIED. BOTH LT INBD & OTBD BRAKES SHOWED HIGH TEMP AT A 7. BLED THE LT INBD & OTBD BRAKES. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK WITH THE CREW, TAXI CHECKED GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. NO FAILS & ISSUES FOUND. ALL WORK DONE IAW MM 32-43-00.
AFTER LANDING, SMOKE WAS NOTICED FROM LT MLG. R & R BRAKE ASSY. OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW MM 32-40-00.
BRAKE PEDALS REQUIRE EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FORCE TO ENGAGE BRAKES. BRAKES CATCH UNEVENLY. REMOVED LT WHEEL TRANSDUCER. INSTALLED OVERHAULED TRANSDUCER. OPS CHECKED GOOD. IAW MM 32-40-00-201. REMOVED RT WHEEL TRANSDUCER. BENCHED CHECKED GOOD. INSTALLED TRANSDUCER. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 32-40-00-201.
BRAKE PEDALS REQUIRE EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FOURCE TO ENGAGE BRAKES, BRAKES CATCH UNEVENLY. REMOVED AND CLEANED BRAKE CONTROL VALVE FILTERS, REINSTALLED, LEAK CHECKED GOOD. INSPECTED WHEEL TRANSDUCERS, AND BRAKES WITH SATISFACTORY RESULTS. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM, TAXI CHECKED GOOD. IAW BEECHJET 400/400A AMM 32-46-00
BRAKE PEDALS REQUIRE EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FORCE TO ENGAGE BRAKES, BRAKES CATCH UNEVENLY AND ARE NOT SMOOTH AS THEY ENGAGE. VISUALLY INSPECTED BRAKES NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. SET PARKING BRAKE AND CHECKED BRAKE WEAR. FOUND L/H BRAKE PIN PROTRUSION TO BE 7/16 OF AN INCH. RT BRAKE 1/4 OF AN INCH. NO DEFECTS NOTED. ACCOMPLISHED BRAKE BLEEDING IAW MM 32-40-00. WHILE BLEEDING THE LT BRAKE SYSTEM WE NOTED AIR IN BLEEDER TUBE. CONTINUED BLEEDING TILL NO AIR WAS PRESENT. CHECKED AND SERVICED FWD BRAKE RESERVOIR. ACCOMPLISHED TAXI CHECKS NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED.
