WITH BATTERIES DOSCONNECTED, ATTEMPTED TO OPEN MAIN CABIN DOOR. DOOR DID ITS NORMAL FREEFALL BUT STOPPED 2/3 OF WAY DOWN. CONNECTED BATTERIES & ELECTRONICALLY BROUGHT DOOR BACK UP & SHUT IT COMPLETELY. ATTEMPTED TO OPEN DOOR FROM OTSIDE & ONLY UNSEATED FROM FULLY CLOSED & REMAINED OPEN ABOUT AN INCH OR TWO. WITH APU OFF & ATTEMPTED TO OPEN DOOR. IT NEVER WENT FURTHER THAN 2". REMOVED AND REPLACED MCD ACTUATOR IAW GL MM 52-11-25 OPS CHECKS GOOD S/N OFF/ON F0558/F0581
HYDRAULIC FLUID: AT CRUISE FL 360 WE RECEIVED A HYD #1 LO QUANITY CAS. WE PULLED UP OUR HYD PAGE AND SAW OUR FLUID QUANITY AT 12% AND IT DROPPED TO ZERO. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY A HYD LOW PRESS CAS. WE COMPLETED BOTH CHECKLIST. POST FLIGHT REVEALED HYD FLUID ALL OVER LARGE SERVICE DOOR AND DRIPPING ON THE GROUND.
MAIN DOOR MOTOR: DURING OPERATION OF MAIN ENTRY DOOR, THE DOOR MOTOR WILL INTERMITTENTLY DISENGAGE WHEN DOOR IS BEING RAISED AND IS HALFWAY UP AND ALSO AT THE START OF THE CLOSING CYCLE. WAS ABLE TO CLOSE DOOR HOLDING THE SWITCH UNTIL FULLY CLOSED AND THEN WAS ABLE TO LATCH IT SHUT. // SIGNOFF // VISUALLY INSPECTED DOOR MOTOR, RIGGING, SPRINGS CABLE MECHANISM AND CHAIN DRIVE WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED CYCLED MED 8-10 TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND UNABLE TO DUPLICATE.
THE "H STAB FAIL" LIGHT CAME ON WHEN THE HORIZONTAL STAB ANTI ICE WAS TURNED ON. DID THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST WHICH INCLUDED PULLING THE HORIZONTAL STAB PROTECT CIRCUIT BREAKER. ISOLATED FAULT AT SENSOR NR 1 AND THERMALLY MATCHED MATE AND SPLICED IV SPARE THERMALLY MATCHED SET IAW MM 30-12-00-201; 20-00-00-201, AND WDM 30-12-03-01. OPS CHECKS NORM. NO DISCREPANCY NOTED.
LT THROTTLE FROZE AT FL 350. UNFROZE AT FL 240. REPLACED LT ENG AFT THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE WITH NEW. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 76-10-00 AND MM 71-20-00-201 FOR LOOSENING REAR ENG MOUNT.
ELECTRICAL BURNING ODOR COMING FROM VANITY LIGHT AREA OF THE LAVATORY. PASSENGERS CAME UP TO THE COCKPIT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE ODOR. WE COULD DETECT IT FROM THE COCKPIT. TROUBLESHOT AND PERFORMED A DETAIL INSPECTION OF THE WHOLE LAV. AREA, INCLUDING SIDEWALL, ENGINE BLEED LINE, PC BOARDS, RELAYS, ELECTRICAL WIRES ETC, PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF A/C, BLEED SYSTEM AND ALL ELECTRICAL, COULD NOT DUPLICATE. WORK DONE IAW HAWKER 400XP MM 21-00
UPON LANDING WITH NORMAL BRAKING ON DRY RUNWAY THE BRAKES PULSED HEAVILY CAUSING THE A/C TO SKID CONTINUALLY. INSPECTED WHEELS, TIRES, BRAKES, PERFORMED HUB CAP INSPECTION, CHECKED BRAKE ACCUMULATOR. TAXIED AIRCRAFT, NO DEFECTS FOUND, WORK DONE IAW MM 32-00-00.
DID NOT GET A RT LANDING GEAR GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION UPON GEAR EXTENTION. 09-28-07 REMOVED FAULTY RT MAIN GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED SWITCH AND INSTALLED NEW SWITCH IAW HAWKER 400XP MM CHAP. 32-10-00. AND TEMP REV 32-1. OPS CHECK GOOD. FOR DETAILS REF FAS WO 07-2259.
DID NOT GET A RT LANDING GEAR GREEN DOWN NR LOCKED INDICATION UPON GEAR EXTENTION. 09-27-07 RESEATED LANDING GEAR DOWN LIGHT CLUSTER SOCKET, NO DEFECTS NOTED, INSPECTED RT MLG DOWNLOCK SWITCH FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY, JACKED ACFT IAW 400A MM 32-00-00, OPS CHECKED NORMAL AT THIS TIME, NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
WHEN LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENEDED RT GREEN LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMIMINATE, TESTED BULB AND CONFIRMED BULB WAS GOOD. EXECUTED A GO AROUND AND THE RT LANDING GEAR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. JACKED AIRCRAFT AND COMPLIED WITH GEAR SWING; NO DEFECTS FOUND AT THIS TIME. REFERENCE HAWKER BEECHCRAFT 400A MAINTENANCE MANUAL. CHAPTER 32-00-00.
UNKNOWN SOURCE OF SMOKE AND ODOR ENTERING CABIN THROUGH UPPER/REAR LAV AREA DURING FLIGHT FROM IAD TO ORF, DIVERTED TO NHK. AIR CONDITIONER AND GALLEY WERE SHUT OFF AND WE ISOLTED CABIN PRESSURE SOURCE TO RT ENGINE ONLY. ANY OR ALL 3 OF THESE ACTIONS CAUSED THE SMOKE AND ODOR TO DISSAPATE. INSPECTED AIRCRAFT AND ENGINE, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED . INSPECTED ECS DUCT AND OP CHECK ECS, AIR CYCLE AND VAPOR CYCLE COOLING SYSTEM. ALL SYSTEMS OP CHECK GOOD, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED AT THIS TIME IAW MM, CHP 21-50-00, 21-51-00,71-00-00. PERFORMED CHECK FLIGHT AND NO SMOKE WAS FOUND.
AT FL320 GOT A LEFT GEAR DOWN AND LOCK LIGHT WITHOUT MOVING HANDLE. SPEED 250KIAS GEAR SPEED LIMIT IS 200 KIAS. AIRCRAFT YAWED AND ROLLED TO THE LEFT EXTENDED GEAR AND LANDED NORMALLY. PERFORMED LANDING GEAR ADJUSTMENT TEST AND CHECKED MAIN GEAR UPLOCK CLEARANCES, NO DEFECTS NOTED. OPERATIONAL CHECK PERFORMED SATISFACTORY. ALL WORK DONE IAW 400 HAWKER 400XP MM 32-30-00 REF.
DURING INSPECTION, FOUND LOWER TORQUE LINK ASSY WORN TO LIMITS AT THE CENTER CONNECTION. THE BUSHING IN THE UPPER TORQUE LINK ASSY CAUSES THE WEAR. SUBMITTER SUGGESTS THE LOWER TORQUE LINK ASSY NEEDS TO HAVE BUSHINGS INSTALLED IN THE CENTER CONNECTION.
CREW BELIEVED TAIL TKS ANTI-ICE SYSTEM NOT OPERATING PROPERLY. FOUND RIGHT INBOARD HORIZONTAL TAIL TKS PANEL DRY. FOUND TKS PROPORTIONING UNIT DEFECTIVE. INTERNAL BLOCKAGE SUSPECT CAUSE OF DEFECT.
