THE CREW REPORTED THAT THEY SUSPECTED THAT THE NLG DOORS OPENED IN DESCENT AT ABOUT 300KTS WITH A MODERATE VIBRATION FELT NEAR NOSE OF PLANE. THE LANDING GEAR INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL AND THE GEAR EXTENDED NORMALLY. THE ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE ACFT AND APPROVED A FERRY FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE R & R THE LGEU AND NLG DOOR SOLENOID VALVE, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED.

DURING C-CHECK, NR 1 ENGINE LOWER FORWARD YOKE FITTING CRACKED, VERIFIED WITH EDDY CURRENT IAW SOP 5711. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED REPAIR OF NR 1 ENGINE LOWER FORWARD YOKE FITTING IAW EC5450-01116. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK, SERVICE DOOR AFT SILL CORRODED, LOCAL LEVEL 2. MAINTENANCE R & R SERVICE DOOOR AFT SILL IAW SRM 51-40-02. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED ODOR OF GAS WHEN APU WAS TURNED ON. ODOR WOULD GO AWAY WHEN PACK 1 WAS TURNED OFF. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED OPS CHECKS OF PACKS 1 AND 2. OPS CHECKED GOOD. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. THE ACFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.

DURING C-CHECK THE LT OMEGA BEAM WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED BETWEEN FRAMES 59 AND 61. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE CORROSION AND PERFORMED A DOUBLER REPAIR IAW EC5310-01473. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE LT AILERON INBD HINGE FITTING WAS FOUND TO BE WORN AND WOULD NOT RETAIN THE HAT BUSHINGS. MX R & R THE HINGE FITTING IAW SRM 51-40-02. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE CENTER OMEGA BEAM WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED BETWEEN FRAMES 59 AND 61. MX REMOVED THE CORROSION AND PERFORMED A DOUBLER REPAIR IAW SRM 51-40-02. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING C-CHECK THE LT SPOILER ACTUATOR ATTACHMENT BRACKET WAS FOUND TO BE WORN AND WOULD NOT RETAIN THE HAT BUSHINGS. MX R & R THE SPOILER IAW AMM 27-62-05. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

TYS - A/C IN FOR A 4A CHECK WHEN INSPECTION FOUND THE EXIT SIGN IN FRONT OF ROW 3BC TO BE INOP. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 INVERTER IAW EMB 145XR MM 33-50-11. OPS CHECK GOOD AND WAS RELEASED.
ORD FLT 6156 - THE CREW REPORTED A LOUD BANGING NOISE WHEN GEAR RETRACTED. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE LANDING GEAR ELECTRONIC UNIT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
ORD FLT 5863 THE CREW REPORTED A LOUD BANG NOISE AND VIBRATION FELT AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED INTO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE LANDING GEAR AND HARNESSES. NO DEFECTS FOUND. PERFORMED GEAR RETRACTION AND EXTENSION CHECKS. NO DEFECTS FOUND. PERFORMED PROXIMITY SWITCH HEALTH CHECKS. NO DEFECTS FOUND. PERFORMED GVI OF FLIGHT CONTROLS AND ENGINES. NO DEFECTS FOUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TEST FLOWN AND TEST FLIGHT WAS SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.

ORD FLT 5772 THE CREW REPORTED A NR 1 BATTERY OVERTEMP MESSAGE. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED INTO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 BATTERY.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE THE LEFT OVERWING FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHT WAS FOUND INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE LAMP AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, THE NR 2 ENGINE FILLED THE CABIN WITH SMOKE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 ENGINE. TEAR DOWN REPORT FROM ROLLS ROYCE INDICATED THE NR 4 CARBON SEAL WAS FOUND WITH BROKEN CARBON SEGMENTS. THE ENGINE CONDITION WAS ADDRESSED THROUGH ENGINE REPAIR AND SB UPGRADE INCLUDING SB 72-348 NEW TANDEM NR 4 CARBON SEAL.
TYS - AIRCRAFT 170 WAS REPORTING TO ATL WHEN CREW SMELLED AND SAW SMOKE IN THE CABIN. ACFT RETURNED BACK TO TYS WHERE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED A BOROSCOPE INSPECTION FOR POSSIBLE OIL LEAKS AND NONE FOUND, WORKED THRU THE FIM AND DETERMINED TO CHANGE THE ENGINE ON THE LEFT SIDE. A/C IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVED AND REPLACED THE ENGINE.
AFT PORTABLE OXYGEN CYLINDER HAS BROKEN KNOB. R&R AFT OXYGEN BOTTLE IAW EMB 145 XR AMM 35-30-01. THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT CREW REPORTED E2 BLEED LEAK ON CLIMB OUT AND DIVERTED, WHERE MX PERSONNEL REMOVED AND REPLACED DUCT O-RING AFT OF LAV. OPERATIONALLY CHECKED SATISFACTORY AND ACFT WAS RELEASED TO RETURN FOR SERVICE. (K)
FLT 7759 - TUS - FLIGHT CREW REPORTED NR 1 EDHP FAILURE ON GEAR EXTENSION. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT DECLARING EMERGENCY AND WITH NO INCIDENTS. MX PERSONNEL REMOVED AND REPLACED NR 1 EDHP OPERATIONALLY CHECKED SATISFACTORY. AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED TO RETURN TO SERVICE.

IAH - DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, THE GALLEY OVERHEAD EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LIGHT BULB, OPERATIONALLY CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
