A VISUAL INSP OF THE BEARING REVEALED THE GREASE HAD SEEPED PAST THE SEALED AREA AND THE BEARING WOULD NOT SPIN FREELY BY HAND. BOTH BEARINGS WERE R & R NO OTHER DISCREPANCIES NOTED.

AIR TURNBACK - PILOTS REPORTED THAT UPON TAKEOFF AND CLIMBING THAT THE GEAR HANDLE IN TRANSIT LIGHT WOULD NOT EXTINGUISH AFTER GEAR RETRACTION. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NOSE AND RIGHT HAND MAIN UPLOCK SWITCHES. MAINTENANCE RIGGED THE SWITCHES AND THE OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD REFERENCE 1900D MM 32-60-00-201. RII INSPECTION COMPLIED WITH PER TASKCARD 4.3.8 FOR THE INSTALLATION AND RIGGING.
PILOTS REPORTED THAT THE RT ENGINE NR 2 PROPELLER VIOLENTLY CYCLES IN AND OUT OF FEATHER. PROPS WERE FULL FWD, IDLE SLOWLY INCREASING, CAUSED YAWING AT 1500 FT ON APPROACH. MX CLEANED POWER LEVER AUTOFEATHER MICROSWITCHES AND PERFORMED OPSL CHECK OF AUTOFEATHER SYSTEM IAW MM 61-21-00. ALL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
