FOUND RH W/S SENSORS TO SHOW EVIDENCE OF ELECTRICAL DAMAGE SUCH AS MELTING SENSORS, TERMINAL BLOCK MELTING, AND SOLDER DAMAGE TO TERMINALS P AND G. REMOVED FO'S WINDSHIELD AND ALSO WIPER AND REPLACED 4 NUT PLATES. INSTALLED AND VERIFIED GRIP OF HARDWARE. REMOVED WINDSHIELD FROM AIRCRAFT AND REMOVED SEAL. INSTALLED PROPER SEAL. INSTALLED FOS W/S. OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK SAT.
BURNING ODOR DURING ANTI-ICE OPS IN FLT FOLLOWED BY BLEED 1 LEAK. ODOR DIMINISHED LEAVING ICING CONDITIONS. CRISPY SWEET BURNING ODOR. THE ODOR ONLY OCCURRED IN THE FLT DECK, THE FLT ATTENDANT COULD BRIEFLY SMELL IT BUT IN THE FLIGHT CREW EYES WERE WATERING. THE ODOR LASTED ABOUT 5 MINS IN ICING CONDITIONS. SCREENS & EVERYTHING SEEMED NOTAL. DID NOT PUT ON O2 MASK. BLEED 1 LEAK IN FLT, RAN QRH MESSAGE EXTINGUISHED AFTER LEAVING ICING CONDITION & BLEED 1 BUTTON PUSHED OUT. ALSO HAD ICE CONDITION A/I INOP, WING A/I FAIL, STAB A/I FAIL, WITH A BRIEF ODOR WHEN EXITING ICE CONDITIONS. SUSPECT ODOR WAS FROM BLEED 1 LEAK. AFTER REPAIRING BLEED 1 LEAK, PERFORMED FIM, COULD NOT DUPLICATE ODOR. NO DEFECTS. PERFORMED ANTI-ICING TEST A WITH CREW, NO MESSAGES. NO LEAKS NOTED. PERFORMED FIM. FOUND MULTIPLE LEAKS ON BLEED AIR DUCT CLAMPS IN AFT AVIONICS BAY. SECURED. PERFORMED AIR BLEED OPS CHK AT HIGH POWER AND ANTI-ICE OPS CHK. OPS & LEAK CHECK SAT. NO DEFECTS.

DURING MAINTENANCE INSPECTION, A DENT WAS FOUND APPROXIMATELY 12 INCHES FROM THE FWD LOWER CORNER OF THE FIRST LT CABIN WINDOW. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE DAMAGE AND INSTALLED A DOUBLER REPAIR. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS STAYED ON. MAINTENANCE R & R THE EMERGENCY LIGHT CONTROLLER, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE SEVERAL EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE DURING TEST. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE NR 3 AND NR 4 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY CHARGERS. OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD.
THE CREW REPORTED THAT EMERGENCY LIGHTS 3 & 4 WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE R & R THE NR 4 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD NOT TEST OR TURN OFF FROM THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT CONTROL PANEL. MAINTENANCE R & R RELAY K0275, OPS TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED THAT EMERGENCY LIGHTS 3 & 4 WERE INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE R & R THE NR 3 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AND THE ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

DURING C-CHECK, COCKPIT LT FRAME 10 IS CRACKED. R & R COCKPIT LT FRAME 10 UNDER DV WINDOW IAW SRM 51-40-02. ACFT APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
ACFT WAS REPORTED BY PILOTS THAT SMOKE WAS IN THE CABIN FROM THE PACKS AND TURNED OFF RECIRCULATING FANS DIDN'T HELP. IT GOT WORSE. ACFT WAS FERRIED, WHERE MAINTENANCE FOUND THE 0 CARBON SEAL LEAKING. R & R THE 0 CARBON SEAL REF MM 72-25-25. OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD AND WAS RELEASED BACK TO SERVICE.
DURING MX INSPECTION THE LT FWD OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT AND CEILING EMERGENCY LIGHT WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. MX R & R THE NR 1 EMERGENCY LIGHT SYS BATTERY CHARGER WITH OPS CHECK GOOD. ACFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED AT 10,000 STARTED THE APU AND RECEIVED A FIRE INDICATION. RAN THE QRH AND DEPLETED THE FIRE BOTTLE. MX INSPECTED AND FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE. RELEASED ACFT IAW MEL 26-22-00. OPEN

IAH - FLIGHT 2176, THE CREW REPORTED A HUNG START FOLLOWED BY STRONG SMELL OF SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE WHERE MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE "A" IGNITOR ON THE NUMBER TWO ENGINE, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND NO SMELL OF SMOKE, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
CLE FLT 2057 THE CREW REPORTED A BLEED 2 LOW TEMP WARNING MESSAGE IN CLIMBOUT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 HIGH STAGE BLEED VALVE CONNECTOR. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CLE FLT 2786 THE CREW REPORTED A LAV SMOKE INDICATION AFTER TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO CLE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 ENGINE. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.

IAH - FLIGHT 2644, THE CREW REPORTED A MOMENTARY LAV SMOKE INDICATION. MAINTENANCE VERIFIED NORMAL OPERATION OF THE LAV SMOKE DETECTOR, OPERATIONALLY TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
FLT 2780 THE CREW REPORTED A PAC 2 VALVE FAILED CLOSED IN FLIGHT. THE CREW DIVERTED INTO CLT AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE DUCT (SLEEVE) ON THE NR 2 PACK SYSTEM. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
CLE FLT 2710 THE CREW REPORTED A BAG SMOKE WARNING MESSAGE ON THE EICAS AFTER APU START. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 DAU AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.

EWR FLIGHT 2373. THE CREW REPORTED A BLEED 1/2 OVERTEMP MESSAGE IN ICING CONDITIONS. THE ACFT DIVERTED INTO CLE WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED THE NR 1 BLEED THERMOSTAT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD. (S)
CLE FLIGHT 2846 THE CREW REPORTED SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN CLE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED HIGH POWER ENGINE RUNS WITH BLEEDS, PACKS, AND ANTI ICE SYSTEMS ON. ALSO RAN ALL A/C ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND NO SMOKE OR BURNING SMELLS WERE NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
TYS - DURING A CURRENT 2C INSPECTION A SHEAR CLIP AT FR 65 WAS FOUND. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE CORROSION AND FABRICATED A DOUBLER AND INSTALL IAW EC 5530-01458. A/C WILL BE RELEASED AT THE END OF THE 2C INSPECTION.
TYS - DURING A 2C INSPECTION A SHEAR CLIP WAS FOUND CORRODED AT FR 68. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE CORROSION, FABRICATED A DOUBLER AND INSTALL IAW EC 5330-01458. A/C WILL BE RELEASED UPON COMPLETION OF ALL WORK.
TYS - DURING A CURRENT 2C INSPECTION THE VENTRAL TANK FWD BULKHEAD WAS FOUND CORRODED AT THE FUEL LINE SUPPORT BRACKET. MAINTENANCE CUT OUT THE EFFECTED AREA, FABRICATED AND INSTALL A DOUBLER AND FILLER. ALODINED AND PRIMED IAW EC 2810-01027. A/C WILL BE RELEASED AT THE END OF THE 2C INSPECTION.
SHEAR TIE CORRODED AT FRAME 65 AND FRAME 68. REMOVED CORROSION, FABRICATED DOUBLER AND INSTALLED IAW COEX EC5330-01458.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE THE LEFT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT WOULD NOT OPEN. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND THE WRONG GRIP LENGTH SCREW INSTALLED ON THE DOOR SURROUND LINER. THE SCREW WAS REPLACED AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD OF THE DOOR.
DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE THE RIGHT OVERWING EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR SWITCH ACTUATOR WAS STICKING. THE DOOR DID NOT INDICATE OPEN INDICATION ON THE ECIAS WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPENED. MAINTENANCE CLEANED AND LUBED THE RIGHT EMERGENCY EXIT SWITCH ACTUATOR. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD I/A/W 52-75-00.
