THE FLIGHT CREW EXPERIENCED THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN AUDIBLE SOUNDING IN FLIGHT WITH THE THREE GREEN DOWN AND SAFE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED WHEN THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED TO DOWN. MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE OVERHEAD PANEL WAS GROUNDING OUT TO THE COVER OF THE SWITCH CAUSING THE HORN TO SOUND IN FLIGHT. THE WIRING WAS REPAIRED AND THE AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT ON APPROACH INTO KEUG THE LEFT ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST AND AS A PRECAUTION PERFORMED AN INFLIGHT SHUT DOWN OF THE LEFT ENGINE. THE PILOT LANDED AT KEUG WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE PILOT DID REPORT THAT HE WAS FLYING IN HEAVY PRECIPITATION. ON POST FLIGHT INSPECTION THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE IN THE LEFT ENGINE COMPARTMENT. PDX MAINTENANCE TRAVELED TO KEUG. INSPECTED THE LEFT ENGINE AND CONFIRMED THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF A FIRE. TESTED THE LEFT ENGINE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM. THE LEFT ENGINE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM TESTED NORMALLY. SUSPECT A FALSE FIRE INDICATION DUE TO THE HEAVY PRECIPITATION DURING FLIGHT. NO DEFECTIVE PARTS WERE DISCOVERED.

TOOK OFF AND WAS ON INITIAL CLIMB, NOTICED A FLASH AND SMELLED AN ODOR. RETURNED TO DEPARTURE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND DISCOVERED THAT A BRAIDED AIRFRAME BONDING GROUND STRAP HAD CHAFED INTO A WIRE GOING TO THE PROPELLER HEAT CONTROLLER. THE CHAFED WIRE WAS REPAIRED AND THE BONDING JUMPER SECURED AWAY FROM ANY OTHER WIRING CIRCUITS, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

THE TAKE OFF WAS NORMAL. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT AFTER LEVEL OFF IN CRUISE FLIGHT THE RIGHT ENGINE TORQUE INDICATION STARTED TO FLUCTUATE FOLLOWED BY A DROP IN OIL PRESSURE. THE PILOT SHUT DOWN THE RIGHT ENGINE, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, RETURNED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE RIGHT ENGINE AND FOUND THE OIL DIPSTICK WAS NOT SECURED CAUSING A LOSE OF OIL WHICH IN TURN CAUSED THE LOW OIL PRESSURE INDICATION. THE DIPSTICK WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. MAINTENANCE SERVICED THE ENGINE WITH OIL, PERFORMED THE REQUIRED INSPECTIONS PER THE PRATT & WHITNEY PT6A-36 MAINTENANCE MANUAL. ALL CHECKS WERE NORMAL, NO DEFECTS WERE FOUND AND THE ENGINE WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
