DURING WINDSHIELD SEAL REPLACEMENT, NUMEROUS SCREWS ALONG LOWER PORTION OF WINDSHIELD RETAINER WERE FOUND SEVERELY RUSTED THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 50 PERCENT OF ORIGINAL DIAMETER. SUSPECT CAUSE IS MOISTURE INFILTRATION AROUND RETAINER WHEN SEAL DETERIORATES BETWEEN RETAINER AND WINDSHIELDS.
