MAIN DOOR PRIMARY SEAL: ON DECENT THERE IS A LOUD WIND NOISE COMING FROM AROUND THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. THE NOISE STARTED AROUND FL300. CORRECTIVE ACTION; PERFORMED PRESSURIZATION LEAK OPS CHECK IAWBOMBARDIER CHALLENGER 650 AMM 21-31-00 / ND DISCOVERED AIR LEAKING RAPTDL Y FROM DOOR VENT SEAL. INSPECTED THE .PRESSURE VAL VE DOOR AND LATCH MECHANISM A TT ACHING THE SPRING ROD AND FOUND THE SPRING ROD ADJUSTMENT OUT OF LIMITS (THE SPRING ROD WAS BOTTOMED OUTAT THE BASE) CAUSING A MISMATCH BETWEEN THE PRESSURE VALVE DOOR.AND THE DOOR STRUCTURE. IN ADDITION, THE PRESSURE VENT DOOR SEAL WAS CONT AMINA TED "WITH PAINT OVERSPRA Y AND RTV. CLEANED THE CONTAMINATION FROM PRESSURE VAL VE DOOR SEAL, REMOVED AND ADJUSTED PRESSURE VAL VE DOOR ATTACHING SPRING ROD IN REF.CL-650 AMM 52-11-00. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF THE CABIN DOOR !AW CL65- AMM 52-11-00
LEFT ENGINE ENGINE OVERTEMP: FOLLOWING LEFT ENGINE START ITT ROSE RAPIDLY ACCOMPANIED BY A RED HOT MESSAGE ON THE ITT GAUGE. TEMP CONTINUED TO RISE AND CREW TERMINATED THE START AT 804ð. CREW FOLLOWED THE HOT START QRH PROVEDURE. ALSO, THE MARSHALER HAD A CONCERNED LOOK AT THE SAME TIME THE HOT MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. FOLLOWIMG SHUTDOWN, THE MARHALLER INFORMED ME THAT HE SAW A LARGE PUFF OF WHITE SMOKE. CORRECTIVE ACTION: PERFORMED GVI OF ENGINE INLET AND EXHAUST. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW CL650 AMM REF TASK 76-10-00-720-801
ON CLIMB OUT, LT FAN VIBRATION TURNED YELLOW AT 2.7 MUKTIPLE TIMES. PULLED POWER BACK & LEVELED OFF EARLY AND CALLED MCC. DECISION WAS MADE TO DIVEST TO TEB. DURING CRUISE AT 350 AND .78. LT FAN VIB STAYED GREEN, BUT READ 2.2 WHULE RT FAN VIB READ 1.3. REMOVED LH ENGINE ACCELEROMETER & INSTALLED ON RT ENGINE. REMOVED RT ENGINE ACCELEROMETER & INSTALLED ON LT ENGIINE IAW AMM 77-31-01. PERFORMED IDLE RUNS AND PERFORMED ENG VIBRATION OPS CHECK , OPS CHECKED GOOD. REPOSITIONED AIRCRAFT TO RUN UP PAD. PERFORMED HIGH POWER RUNS SINCE ISSUE HAPPENED AT CLIMB OUT. WHILE PERFORMING HIGH POWER RUNS NOTCED LT & RT ENGINE VIBRATION TO BE WITHIN LIMITS.
COCKPIT ODOR: AFTER TAKEOFF AND BLEED AIR TRANSFER WE NOTICED A MUSTY SMELL IN THE AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM. INSPECTED ACM SYSTEM WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. REMOVED WATER SOCKS, FOUND THEM DIRTY AND TO HAVE ODOR. REINSTALLED SOCKS,. RAN APU, AND BOITH ENGINES. SWAPPED BETWEEN THE THREE BLEED SYSTEMS WITH THE SAME ODOR NOTED IN THE SOCKS PRESENT REGARDLESS OF WHICH BLEED SOURCE WAS USED. PLACED SOCKS ON ORDER. REF CL 650 AMM 21-51-13. REPLACED BOTH CONDENSOR BAGS IN REF TO CL-650AMM 21-51-13. OPS, LEAK AND SMELL CHECK GOOD.
ENROUTE, AUTOTHROTTLES FAILED. SEVERAL AVIONICS ANOMALIES OCCURRED SIMULTANEOUSLY. LEFT DISPLAY MENU WOULD NOT DISPLAY MFD MAP NOR TEXT . LEFT MFD MAP DISPLAY WINDOW DOES NOT WORK. PERFORMANCE LANDING SPEEDS WILL NOT SEND. FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED AN ELECTRIC ODOR IN THE CABIN SHORTLY AFTER THE PROBLEM WAS NOTICED. PERFORMED AN AUTOTHROTTLE OPS CHECK, AND FUNCTIONAL TEST OF THE AUTOTHROTTLE COMPUTER , NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. BORESCOPED THE APU COMPRESSOR CARBON SEAL FOR OIL LEAK, NO LEAKS NOTED. INSPECTED THE CONVECTION OVEN, MICROWAVE. AND CHILLER AND FAN. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. NO FURTHER ACTIONS NEEDED. WORKED IAW MM 22-30-01-720-802, SMM 25-30-03 AND MM 22-30-00-710-803.
DURING THE 10,000 CYC AFT PRESSURE BULKHEAD INSPECTION IT WAS FOUND. AFT PRESSURE BULKHEAD SCRATCHED IN TWO HORIZONTAL LINES, 1.5 INCHES APART TO .006 INCH DEEP, FORWARD SIDE OF BULKHEAD. CAUSED BY CUTTING TOO DEEP (CARPET OR INSULATION) ALONG EDGES OF CENTER INTERIOR TRIM EXTRUSION. REPAIRED AFT PRESSURE BULKHEAD BY INSTALLING A PATCH.
COPILOT'S GLIDESLOPE REMAINS CENTERED AT ALL ITEMS ON ILS APPROACH. NO FLAG ON HSI. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED THAT PINS ON RELAY M39016/6-209L OR CONTACTS ON PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WERE DIRTY OR OXIDATED. RELAY K1 IN RELAY BOX PL-A. SAME RELAY FOR GLIDESLOPE UP/DOWN. ALSO, PULLS FLAG. SUBMITTER RECOMMENDED VISUAL INSPECTION OF PCB AND RELAYS ON ANNUAL BASIS.
