THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING FLIGHT THE ICE DETECT FAIL ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. OPERATIONS WERE CONTINUED BY DEFERRING MAINTENANCE PER MEL 30-80-01-01. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED A FAILED ICE DETECTOR. THE DEFECTIVE DETECTOR WAS REMOVED AND A REPAIRED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING PREFLIGHT CHECKS FINDING THE LEFT SIDE, CAPTAINS OXYGEN MASK HARNESS DOESN'T EXPAND AND OPEN CORRECTLY. TUBE IS BULGING OUT OF TORN FABRIC ON HARNESS. THE BASE MAINTENANCE TEAM REMOVED THE PILOTS MASK AND INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED MASK. OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
CREW REPORTS BOTH COMPASS DRIFT IN ALL PHASES OF FLIGHT RESULTING IN HEADING (HDG) FLAGS. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR PERFORMED CONTINUITY CHECKS, CONNECTOR AND PIN CLEANING ON WIRING BETWEEN AHRS AND FLUX VALVES AND BULKHEAD CONNECTORS. CLEANED FLUID OUT OF P267 CONNECTOR. TAXIED AIRCRAFT, COMPASS SYSTEM OPS CHECKS GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE FREON COMPRESSOR CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED TWICE. THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS DEFERRED PER MEL 21-50-01. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR THEN FOUND THE AC MOTOR WAS FAULTY. THE MOTOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE FOUND SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE HORIZONAL STAB HEAT FAIL ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED 3 SECONDS AFTER TURNING ON STAB HEATING SYSTEM AT FL350. NO VISIBLE MOISTURE. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND THE HORIZONTAL STAB DE-ICE CONTROLLER DEFECTIVE. THE DEFECTIVE CONTROLLER WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH OVERHAULED UNIT. OPS CHECKS SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING FLIGHT THE EMERGENCY BUS FDR AND BATTERY CUT OFF LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. NO VOLTAGE WAS INDICATED ON THE VOLTAGE METER. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED A DC GROUND FAULT PROTECTION PAN P/N 50284-003 S/N P1198C. THE DEFECTIVE UNIT WAS REMOVED AND AN OVERHAULED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING TAXI OUT FOR DEPARTURE THE RIGHT BUS TIE CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED. THE FLIGHT CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO BLOCKS FOR MAINTENANCE CONSIDERATIONS. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THAT THE RIGHT BUS TIE REMOTE CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER (RCCB)HAD FAILED. THE RCCB WAS REMOVED AND A NEW UNIT WAS INSTALLED OPS CHECKS SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURN TO SERVICE.
