DURING APPROACH WITH THE GEAR SELECTED DOWN, LEFT GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH NO GREEN LIGHT. NOSE AND RIGHT GEAR INDICATE SAFE. DOORS LIGHT INDICATES NORMAL. MANUAL CRANKING OF THE LEFT GEAR WAS NORMAL AND INDICATED DOWN AND LOCKED WITH THE MECHANICAL POINTER.

WHILE GAINING ACCESS TO PERFORM AD 2008-22-12F, FOUND THE HORIZONTAL STABILIZER HINGE BEARING RETAINER LOCKING PLATE HAD A BROKEN BOLT. REMOVED THE STABILIZER TO REPLACE THE BROKEN BOLT, DISCOVERED SURFACE CORROSION ON RH ATTACH FITTING.
DURING THE UNRELATED ACCOMPLISHMENT OF AD 2014-21-09 PARAGRAPH H DISCOVERED BOTH LT & RT WEB OF ELEVATOR QUADRANT ASSEMBLIES CRACKED. R & R BOTH WEBS.
