COCKPIT INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. THE FLIGHT RETURNED TO PHL WHERE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONALLY CHECKED THE SERVICE DOOR IAW CRJ200 AMM 52-41-00-710-801. OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
THE CREW REPORTED A CARGO OVERHEAT MESSAGE AND A STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR IN THE CABIN. OUSTATION MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND NO DISCREPENCIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN FERRIED TO DAY. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH BOMBARDIER MAINTENANCE MANUAL 21-50-00-863-801 AND NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
IN FLIGHT,GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. DURING PUSHBACK FROM GATE, NOSE GEAR WAS TURNED PAST ITS LIMIT. NOSE WHEEL STEERING WAS THEN REPORTED INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACED ELECTRO HYDRAULIC STEERING VALVE IAW MFG MM. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE PERFORMED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR SERVICE. AFTER TAKE OFF THE NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AND FLIGHT RETURNED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN FERRIED WITH THE GEAR PINNED. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REPLACE THE NOSE GEAR SHOCK STRUT ASSEMBLY IAW MFG MM. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE PERFORMED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
