OIL ODOR IN FWD CABIN. R & R RT ENGINE BAV & ENGINE BUFFER AIR SHUTOFF VALVE. OPS CHECKED GOOD. NO MEDICAL ATTENTION NEEDED FOR PAX OR CREW. EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED.
STRANGE WET SOCK OR BURNING OIL SMELL ON TAKEOFF AROUND 100 KNOTS AND IN DESCENT. PERFORMED APU, ENGINE #1 AND ENGINE #2 RUN INDEPENDENTLY. NO ODOR NOTED PER FIM BD500-A-J21-22-00-04AAA-423A-A. AC OKAY TO CONT SERVICE. NO EMERGENCY DECLARED, NO ONBOARD MEDICAL ATTENTION NEEDED FOR CREW OR PASSENGERS. SMELL WAS IN COCKPIT AND DURATION OF EVENT WAS LESS THAN 10 MINUTES.
SMELL OF BURNT OIL IN COCKPIT ON DESCENT. BOTH CATPTAIN AND FO COULD SMELL IT. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS SAID THEY DIDN'T SMELL ANYTHING. COULD SMELL AND FEEL IT ON EYS. NO EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS USED AND NO EMERGENCY DECLARED. PERFORMED ENGINES RUN IAW AMP BD500-A-J71-00-00-00AAA-130A-A, RAN WITH APU BLEED OFF AND ISOLATED PACKS, NO EVIDENCE OF SMELL, VAPORS OR SMOKE. ALSO, PREFORMED A GVI ON ENG#1 AND #2 IAW AMP BD500-A-J72-00-00-00AAA-310A-A, NO LEAKS DETECTED AT THIS TIME. PILOT DID END UP GOING TO HOSPITAL LATER TO SEEK CARE.
TRANSITORY FUME SMELL ON INITIAL DESCENT (OIL). CYCLED COWL A/I ON MEMENTARILY AND SMELL WENT AWAY. PERFORMED GVI. NO DEFECTS NOTED. THERE WAS NO EMERGENCY DECLARED, AND NO ONBOARD MEDICAL ATTENTION NEEDED FOR PAX OR CREW. SIMILAR DEFECT CAME UP ON 3/25/2025 WHICH WAS ALSO A SDR SUBMITTED.
