CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE LATCH PINS. COMPLIED WITH MUTIPLE MAINENTRANCE DOOR OPS CHECKS. OPS CHECKS IS GOOD. VISUAL GREEN MARKS ALIGN WHENEVER WITH NO RED CAS MESSEGE POSTED WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. WORK DONE IAW AMM 52-11-00.
WALKING UP TO THE AIRPLANE, NOTICED THE VENT DOOR WAS NOT FLUSH WITH CABIN DOOR. CANNOT COMPLY WITH MEL 52-70 WRITEUP, DOOR VENT WONT CLOSE COMPLETELY. TESTED CABIN DOOR TWICE WITH A CREWMEMBER ON BOTH SIDES OF DOOR TO ENSURE PROPER OPERATION, WITH AND WITHOUT APU POWER /AIR. INSPECTED PRESSURE VALVE DOOR ROD AND FOUND IT OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. NEED OK TO ADJUST MED PRESSURE VALVE DOOR ROD. "OK" TO ADJUST MED PRESSURE VALVE DOOR ROD. ADJUSTED MED PRESSURE VALVE DOOR ROD IAW CL650 AMM CH 52-11-00. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK IAW CL650 MM CH 52-11-00 OPS CHECKED GOOD. ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATIONAL TEST SATISFACTORY
WHEN CLOSING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR NORMALLY THE UPPER TWO ROLLER LOCKS ARE NOT DISPLAYING MATCHING GREEN LINES. THE LINES ARE OFFSET BY A 1/4 OF AN INCH AND THE RED EICAS WARNING IS COMING ON AFTER ENGINE START. SLAMMING THE DOOR CLOSED AND PLAYING WITH THE HANDLE GETS THE GREEN LINES TO MATCH WITH NO EICAS MESSAGES. LEAVING OUR LAST DESTINATION IT TOOK SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET THE DOOR TO PROPERLY SECURE WITH NO DOOR WARNINGS. LUBRICATED ALL CONTACTING SURFACES, PULLEYS , PIANO HINGES AND LINKAGES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE MED. VARIFIED GREEN LINES ALIGNED AT ALL LOCATIONS WHEN LOCKED AND NO DOOR WARNING WHEN CLOSED FROM INSIDE. OPS CHECKS GOOD. REF CHALLENGER MM TASK CARD 12-20--04-640-807
NLG: NOSE LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND WHEN COMMANDED. THE TOWER REPORTED THE DOORS AS OPEN AND THE NOSE GEAR FULLY RETRACTED. WE ACCOMPLISHED THE GEAR DISAGREE CHECKLIST, GEAR 10-1. IT TOOK MULTIPLE RECYCLING ATTEMPTS FOR THE GEAR TO FINALLY DEPLOY AND SHOW GREEN. RECEIVED AND INSPECTED APPROVED NOSE HARNESS ASSY P87. SET UP WORK STATION AND PREEPED FOR REPLACEMENT OF HARNESS. GAINED ACCESS AND REMOVED SAFTIES, CLAMPS AND HARNESS ASSY PN: 604DX-57806-003PP SN: UNKNOWN. INSPECTED FOR INSTALLATION. NEED OK TO INSTALL. OK TO INSTALL HARNESS. INSTALLED NOSE HARNESS P87 PN: 604DX-57806-005 SN: AA09659 IAW CL650 AMM 32-61-40. OPS CHECKS REQUIRED. ACCOMPLISHED OPS CHECKS AS REQUIRED IAW CL650 AMM 32-22-00, OPS CHECKS GOOD. FLAP ACTUATOR: DURING APPROACH WHEN FLAPS WERE SELECTED TO 30°, THEY REMAINED AT 20° , AND WE RECEIVE A "FLAP FAIL" AMBER CASS MESSAGE. AFTER PARKING ON THE RAMP, WE DISCOVERED THAT THE "FLAP MOTOR 1" CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS TRIPPED (BREAKER B 11 ON CB PANEL #3) TO FAULTY #I MOTOR ON PDU, MCC ELECTED TO CHANGE PDU ASSEMBLY. R&R PDU WI REPAIRED UNITC/W CL650 AMM 27-52-01 , PERFORMING RJGGING CHECKS OF PDU PER CL650 AMM 27-52-01, RIGGING/TRAVEL CHECKS GOOD. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF PDU PER CL650 AMM 27-52-04, OPERATIONAL CHECK AND PDU AND FLAPS CHECK GOOD. RAN FLAPS THROUGH FULL CYCLE SEVERAL TIMES AND NO BREAKERS POPPED OR FLAP FAIL POSTED. OPS CHECK OF THE FLAP SYSTEM NOW CHECKS GOOD.
MLG BRAKE PRESSURE: BRAKES SPONGY ON LANDING. THE RIGHT ONE SEEMS TO GRAB FIRST AND ALSO MAKE BRAKING UNEVEN. TECHS VERLFLED BOTH OR THE BRAKE ACUMULATORS WERE SERVICED PROPERLY. TECHS BLED THE #3 AND #4 BRAKE WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF AIR NOTED. TECHS OPS CHECKED THE BRAKES WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. TECHS VERIFIED THE SERVICING OF THE #2 AND #3 HYD SYSTEMS WAS SATISFACTORY. MCC ELECTS TO SIGN THIS ITEM OFF AT THIS TIME. SOURCE - OIR REPORT: ON TAKEOFF ROLL, SMOKE IN COCKPIT, ABORTED TAKEOFF AT UNKNOWN SPEED. CLEARED IT OUT. ANTI ICE FLUID IN API INTAKE IS ASSUMED. TOOK OFF W ENGINE PROVIDING AIR AND PRESSURIZATION WITH NO ANOMALIES. NO FURTHER ISSUES. (CREW NEVER CONTACTED MAINTENANCE.) DUE TO MANAGEMENT REPORT RECEIVED WITH REPORTED SMOKE IN COCKPIT DUE TO DE-ICING FLUID IN APU INLET: NEXT FLIGHT-COMMUNICATED THAT WE WERE BREAKING THE AIRCRAFT TO THE SOC, BUT WAS NOT COMMUNICATED TO THE CREW THAT WE WERE STOPPING THE PLANE BEFORE THEY TOOK OFF. DISPATCH GOT THE CREW IN FLIGHT AND MADE THE DIVERSION TO CMH. AS A PRECAUTION: PERFORM GROUND RUNS WITH BOTH ENGINES AND APU. PERFORM OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE ECS SYSTEM. NOTE ANY ABNORMALITIES IN THE CABIN AND COCKPIT. PERFORMED GROUND RUNS WITH BOTH ENGINES AND APU IAW CHALLENGER 650 MM 49-10-00 71-00-00. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE ECS SYSTEM IAW CHALLENGER 650 MM 21-61-00. NO ABNORMALITIES IN THE CABIN AND COCKPIT FOUND.
