WITH APU RUMNING FOR APPROX 45 MINS. STARTED TO SMELL AN ELECT SMOKE ODOR COMING FROM OVERHEAD PANEL IN COCKPIT. ODOR APPEARED TO BE COMING START SWITCHES. NO SMOKE OBSERVED BUT SMELL WAS GOT STRONGER & FLT ATTENDANT ABLE TO SMELL IT IN GALLEY WHILE SHUTTING DOWN. DISPLACED OVERHEAD COMPS & DID NOT SMELL ANYTHING OR SEE DAMAGED WIRES, CHKD UNDER FLOORS IN E/E BAY WITH AVIONICS RUNNING. DID NOT SMELL OR SEE ANYTHING. CHKD BEHIND CB PANELS & DID NOT SEE OR SMELL ANYTHING. OPS OVEN, MICROWAVE, & COFFEE POT, DID NOT SEE OR SMELL ANYTHING. CLEANED & RERAN OVEN, NO SMELL. OPS ALL CABIN LIGHS TO INCLUDE LIGHTS IN LAV & DID NOT SEE OR SMELL ANYTHING. RAN APU 3 HRS & COULD SMELL VERY SLIGHT ODOR. CYCLED ISO VALVE & A/C PACKS & SMELL SEEM TO GO AWAY WHEN VALVES CLOSED. PERFORM TORQUE CHKS OF COOLING TURBINE. CHKD GOOD IAW AMM 21-51-00. INSTALLED NEW COALESCER SOCKS & RAN APU FOR 2 HRS, NO SMELL IN COCKPIT WITH ALL AVIONICS SYS RUNNING & RECHKD GALLEY EQUIP, NO SMELL NOTED & RAN COCKPIT CABIN TEMP CONTROLS THROUGH FULL RANGE, NO SMELLS NOTED IAW AMM 21-501-13. ORIG SUB DATE: 9/15/2025.
PAX DOOR STOW CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED HOLDING SHORT OF RUNWAY. ATTEMPTED TO RESET HANDLE. MAIN CABIN DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM FAILED WHEN SECURING DOOR. HANDLE CAME OUT FURTHER THAN NORMAL AND IS NOW LOOSE. INDICATOR FLAG REMAINS RED. REMOVED AND REPLACED MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR (MED) HANDLE ASSEMBLY IAW CMM FLUSH HANDLE LATCH ASSEMBLY 52-11-07, OPS TEST CHECKED GOOD. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
AFTER GEAR RETRACTION, A CONSTANT THUMPING EMITTED FROM NLG AREA. NO EICAS MESSAGES. ALL HYD TEMPS & PRESSURES NORMAL. GEAR EXTEND NORMAL & THUMPING CEASED. GEAR RETRACTION PRODUCED SAME THUMPING & AN ODOR OF HOT MACHINERY. GEAR EXTENDED ELIMINATED SOUND & ODOR. ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED NLG DOOR ACTUATOR. INSTALLED REPAIRED NLG DOOR ACTUATOR IAW AMM 32-22-07. REMOVED NLG DOOR SOLENOID SELECTOR VALVE. INSTALLED OVERHAULED NLG SOLENOID SELECTOR VALVE IAW AMM 32·22·13. REMOVED LT NLG DOOR SPRING POT ASSY. INSTALLED NEW LT NLG DOOR SPRING POT ASSY IAW AMM 32-22-00. VERIFIED RIGGING AND ADJUST OF NLG DOORS, PERFORMED OPS TEST IAW AMM 32-22-10 AND 32-22-00. OPS TEST SAT.
FLAP RETRACTION: FLAPS WOULD NOT RETRACT FROM 20DEGREES. NO B3 CODE FOUND. REMOVED LH & RH FLAP ASYMMETRY BRAKE ASSYS. NEEDS OK TO INSTALL OK TO INSTALL LH & RH FLAP ASYMMETRY BRAKE ASSYS S INSTALLED LH & RH FLAP ASSYMETRY BRAKE ASSYS IAW CL650 MM 27-51-07-000-801 OPERATIONAL TEST REQUIRED IAW CL650 MM 27-54-00-710-801 PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF FLAP OF THE FLAPS AND ASYMMETRY BRAKE ASSYS IAW CL650 MM 27-54-00-710-801 OPERATIONAL TEST OF FLAPS AND ASYMMETRY BRAKE ASSYS IS SATISFACTORY
FUSELAGE AUXILIARY STRUCTURE: GOT A FAINT SMELL OF ELECTRICAL IN THE GALLEY AREA. WE SUSPECT IT COULD BE THE CHILLER. I BARELY SMELLED ANYTHING BUT THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT DID SMELL IT AND TURN THE CHILLER OFF SMELL WENT AWAY // SIGN OFF // REMOVED AND REPLACED GALLEY CHILLER IAW CL650 SMM 25-30-07 PERFORMED OPS CHECK. GALLEY CHILLER OPS CHECK GOOD. NO SMELL NOTICED AZFTER CHILLER REPLACED
