DURING TAKEOFF ROLL FROM DFW PITCH TRIM WAS ADJUSTED UP FOR CLIMB. THE TRIM CONTROLS STOPPED WORKING WHILE THE WHEELS LIFTING OFF FROM THE RUNWAY. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN ALTITUDE ASSIGNED SINCE THE AIRCRAFT KEPT CLIMBING. THE PILOT HAD IMMEDIATELY ADVISED THE TOWER CONTROL AND DEPARTURE OF THE SITUATION AND REQUESTED A HIGHER ALTITUDE CLEARANCE WHILE THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO CONTROL THE AIRCRAFT FOR A RUNAWAY/STUCK TRIM SETTING VIA QRH AND MEMORY ITEMS. THE PILOT REQUESTED A DEVIATION BACK TO DFW AIRPORT AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. VISUAL APPROACH INTO DFW WAS APPROVED AND AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH NO INCIDENT. DFW MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND ELECTRICAL WIRE # 7701-12S FROM TRIM CONTROL SELECTOR SWITCH PIN 1 ON TS35 WAS PULLING OUT FROM TERMINAL WHEN LEFT YOKE WAS MOVED AFT. REPLACED ELECTRICAL TERMINAL PER WDM 27-40-01. OPERATIONAL CHECK FOUND SATISFACTORY. ON 2/26/20, AN AIRCRAFT OPERATIONAL CHECK FLIGHT SUCCESSFULLY.
DURING INITIAL CLIMB FROM DFW, AFTER TURNING ON BLEED AIR VALVES, THE COCKPIT BECAME VERY HOT, EVEN THOUGH THE SYSTEM WAS SET AT THE LOWEST SETTING. TEMP SELECTOR SWITCH WAS RECYCLED THROUGH ALL POSITIONS AND CONTROL KNOB WAS KEPT AT LOWEST SETTING, BUT COCKPIT KEPT GETTING HOTTER AND A HAZE STARTED TO FORM, BURNING SMELL AND THEN THERE WAS SMOKE. THE PILOT PUT ON THE OXYGEN MASK AND TRIED TURNING BLEED AIR OFF AND ON WITH NO SUCCESS. PILOT CONTACTED DEPARTURE AND REQUESTED RETURNING TO DFW. WHILE ATC DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, PILOT FOLLOWED AN SOP, RAN CHECKLISTS, AND LANDED WITHOUT AN INCIDENT. DFW MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT THE BLEED SYSTEM AND FOUND LEFT ACM MIXING VALVE FAILED IN THE OPEN POSITION AND POSSIBLE LEFT DUCT TEMP SENSOR FAILURE. REMOVED AND REPLACED ACM MIXING VALVE AND DUCT TEMP SENSOR. GROUND RUN AND OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY.
DURING DECENT, BOTH HYD PRESS WARNING ANNUNCIATORS ILLUMINATED & THE NLG UNSAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED FOLLOWED BY A DOWN & LOCKED INDICATION. PERFORMED AN EMER EXTENSION OF THE LG & RECEIVED THREE GREEN DOWN & LOCKED INDICATOR LIGHTS. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. INSPECTION REVEALED A LEAKING HYD HOSE ON LT LG INBD SIDE. R & R THE HOSE. ALSO FOUND THE NOSE GEAR UPLOCK HOOK ROLLER WORN. R & R THE NLG UPLOCK HOOK ROLLER. PERFORMED LG SWING, OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS NORMAL.
PILOT REPORTED THAT AFTER EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR DURING APPROACH, A RT MLG UNSAFE INDICATION WAS OBSERVED. BROKE OFF APPROACH TO TROUBLESHOOT THE UNSAFE INDICATION. PERFORMED THE LANDING GEAR UNSAFE INDICATION CHECKLIST IAW THE QRH AND STILL HAD AN UNSAFE INDICATION; COMPLETED LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY EXTENSION IAW THE QRH CHECKLIST, STILL HAD THE UNSAFE INDICATION. PERFORMED A FLY-BY OF THE TOWER, AND TOWER AND MECHANIC REPORTED THE LANDING GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN AND LOCKED. DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. INSPECTION OF THE RT MLG REVEALED THE INBD LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR HOUSING WAS SHEARED FROM ATTACHMENT PIN. MX REPLACED RT MAIN GEAR INBD ACTUATOR.
