AT FL170 CRUISE ALTITUDE BOTH THE #1 AND #2 HYDRAULIC PRESSURE ANNUNCIATOR LIGHTS AS WELL AS THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGE BEGAN READING LOW. ONCE THE LANDING GEAR LEVER WAS SELECTED TO THE DOWN POSITION THE GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND NORMALLY, AND AN EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURE WAS PERFORMED. MAINTENANCE FOUND A HARD LINE TO THE HYDRAULIC MANIFOLD WAS CRACKED AND CAUSED THE HYDRAULIC FLUID TO LEAK OUT FROM THE SYSTEM, RENDERING THE LANDING GEAR INOPERATIVE WHEN SELECTED TO THE DOWN POSITION. THE LINE IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REPLACED AND LEAK / FUNCTIONAL CHECKS WILL BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO RELEASE TO SERVICE.
ENROUTE TO KELP FROM KDFW, APPROXIMATELY 50 MINUTES PRIOR LANDING, BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT HYDRAULIC PRESSURE ANNUNCIATION LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. CREW CONSULTED QRH, CONTACTED ATC AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED AND HAD 3 GREEN INDICATIONS. AIRCRAFT SAFELY LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER ISSUE. AIRPORT OPS DISPATCHED ARFF IN KELP. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT SYSTEM AND FOUND CRACK IN HYDRAULIC LINE COMING FROM POWER PACK. ALSO, BECAUSE HYDRAULIC PUMPS RAN DURING THE FLIGHT FOR MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME WITHOUT FLUID, THESE PUMPS HAD TO BE REPLACED, AS WELL.
DURING APPROACH TO KCHS, GEAR SELECTED TO DOWN POSITION, LH MLG DOWN LOCK - GREEN LIGHT - DID NOT ILLUMINATE, GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED AND EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED. AIRCRAFT LANDED IN KCHS WITHOUT FURTHER ISSUE. AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND SAFE TO FERRY BACK TO KDFW FOR FURTHER TROUBLESHOOTING. KDFW MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND LANDING GEAR POSITION INDICATOR FAULTY. REMOVED AND REPLACED LANDING GEAR POSITION INDICATOR AND LANDING GEAR OPS CHECK WAS GOOD.
UPON CLIMB OUT FROM KDFW, LEFT HAND FIRE LIGHT STARTED TO FLICKER. PILOT EXECUTED IN-FLIGHT FIRE MEMORIZED ITEMS AND PROMPTLY DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. PILOT THEN CONSULTED THE QRH AND FOLLOWED UP WITH ALL RECOMMENDED CHECKLISTS AND RECEIVED RADAR VECTORS TO 36L AND LANDED AT KDFW WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. DFW MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOT FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT, FOUND LOWER FIRE DETECT SENSOR FAULTY AND NO EVIDENCE OF AN ACTUAL FIRE. REMOVED AND REPLACED FIRE DETECTOR. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD REFERENCE SA227 MM 26-10-10.
DURING FINAL APPROACH BOTH LT & RT HYD PRESS ANNUNCIATORâS LIGHTS ILLUMINATED & THE HYD PRESS GAUGE WAS FLUCTUATING. PERFORMED LOSS OF HYD EMER CHECKLIST. DECLARED AN EMER & MANUALLY EXTENDED THE LG, THE PILOT RECEIVED THREE GREEN DOWN & LOCKED INDICATOR LIGHTS & LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED A FLAP UP HYD LINE LEAKING IN THE LEFT NACELLE AREA. R & R FLAP UP LINE. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF HYD SYS. ALL SYS CHECKS WERE NORMAL.
ON DESCENT , PILOT REPORTED THAT AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 FT AGL THE LT ENGINE LOST POWER, APPEARED TO FLAME OUT. PILOT WENT THROUGH THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN CHECKLIST AND NOTED THAT AFTER THE SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE CHIP DETECTOR LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MX PERSONNEL INSPECTED THE LT ENGINE AND FOUND A 3MM PIECE OF METAL ON THE CHIP DETECTOR AND FOUND METAL IN THE OIL FILTER. THE ENGINE WILL BE REPLACED BEFORE FURTHER FLIGHT. AN ENGINE OIL ANALYSIS SAMPLE WAS TAKEN. (OPEN)
