ON TAXI OUT WE GOT THE AMBER A/SKID INBD CAS MESSAGE.2). ON TAXI OUT WE GOT THE AMBER A/SKID OUTBD CAS MESSAGE. DOWNLOADED FAULT HISTORY AND SENT TO NETJETS MX CONTROL. C/W THE OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE ANTISKID SYSTEM. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW AMM 32-44-00. C/W THE OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE ANTISKID CONTROL SYSTEM (BITE TEST). OPS CHECK GOOD IAW AMM 32-44-04-740-801. VISUALLY INSPECTED IRING ON THE GEAR NO DEFECTS FOUND. TAXIED AIRCRAFT TO SEE IF CAS MESSAGE WOULD RETURN OR NOT. TAXI CHECKED GOOD.
FOAM DOOR HINGE COVER HAD BECOME UNVELCROED AND GOT STUCK IN DOOR DURING CLOSING. DOOR WAS LOWERED AND AND PIECE OF FOAM WAS REMOVED. DOOR CLOSED NORMALLY. ON DEPARTURE, HEARD LOUD HISS FROM DOOR SEAL AND PRESSURIZATION WAS NOT ON SCHEDULE. STAYED AT 10000' AND BURNED FUEL. CABIN PRESSURE VARIED FROM 5100 TO 1500. AFTER LANDING, FOUND LARGE HOLE IN DOOR SEAL WHERE CHUNK OF FOAM TRIM WAS LODGED EARLIER. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED DAMAGED DOOR SEAL PN: 600-31913-1 AND INSTALLED CUSTOMER SUPPLIED NEW DOOR SEAL PN: 600-31913-1 IN REF TO CL-650 AMM 52-11-29, OPS CHECK GOOD. THIS CLEARS AOG
DURING SHC FOUND THAT THE RH AFT MOST EMERGENCY LIGHT INOP CORRECTIVE ACTION: THE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE R/H MOST AFT EMERGECCY LAMP ASSY AS REQ'D. IAW: CL 650 MM 33-51-04. OPS CHECK GOOD. THIS CLEARS MEL
DURING DEPARTURE CLIMB FA NOTIFIED THE CREW THAT A LOUD HISSING SOUND WAS AN EMANATING FROM THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. PILOT INSPECTED THE DOOR AND HEARD THE SAME SOUND ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE MAIN CABIN DOOR. THIS NOISE WAS LOUDER THAN NORMAL INFLIGHT AMBIENT SLIPSTREAM NOISE. CABIN WAS PRESSURIZING NORMALLY ACCORDING TO CABIN PRESSURE GAUGE ON EICAS. REMOVED AND REPLACED PASSENGER DOOR SEAL JAW CL-650 AMM 52-11-28. REFERENCE STEPS FOR DETAILS. DURING DOOR CLOSING SEQUENCE, THE DOOR HANDLE PLUNGER OPERATES AND STOWS NORMALLY. AFTER 2-3 SECONDS, THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE POPS OUT AND RED UNLOCK FLAG ON DOOR APPEARS. AMBER PAX DOOR OUT HANDLE CAS MESSAGE POSTED. AFTER THIS WAS PUT THROUGH THE CREW EIE'D IT - N245QS IS GOOD TO GO. DOOR AOG IS AN EIE. OUTSIDE LOCK WAS NOT UNLOCKED WHEN THEY WERE TRYING TO LATCH IT.
DURRING TAKEOFF, A NOTICEABLE HUM & VIBRATION. LEFT ENGINE VIB INDICATOR SHOWED 2.3. DURRING THE CLIMB, THE VIB INDICATOR CONTINUED TO CLIMB. PASSING 38250' THE INDICATOR REACHED 2.7, & TURNED AMBER. RETURNED TO FL380. WITH SUBSEQUENT POWER REDUCTION, THE VIB METER STAYED STEADY AT 2.2-2.3. THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE SPLIT IN THE THROTTLES ON THE DESCENT. LT ENG THROTTLE WAS REDUCING FURTHER. REMOVED FORWARD SPINNER AND INSPECTED AND FOUND NO ISSUES. REMOVED AFT SPINNER INSPECTED AND FOUND NO ISSUES. PLACED NUTS IN OIL TO SOAK WHILE PERFORMING THE REST OF THE MAINTENANCE PER THE MM. REMOVED, CLEANED AND INSPECTED ALL 28 INLET FAN BLADES AND FOUND NO ISSUES. REINSTALLED AFT SPINNER BACK IN ORIGINAL POSTION AND TORQUED NUTS TO 35 LB IN. . ALL WORK WAS DONE IAW SM 72-00-00. ORIG SUB DATE: 1/16/2023
UPON APPROACH INTO AIRPORT AFTER START ATTEMPT OF APU, WE OBSERVED AN APU RED CAS MESSAGE OF APU LOW OIL PRESSURE FOLLOWED BY RED CAS MESSAGE OF APU OVER TEMP. THIS FOLLOWED BY AN AUTO SHUTDOWN. REMOVED APU, INSTALLED REPAIRED APU. SERVICED WITH 2.5 QTS OF 2197 OIL. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 24-22-02, AMM 49-12-01, AMM 12-13-49, AND AMM 49-10-00. PERFORMED OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECK WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
TWO SPOTS OF BLENDED CORROSION ON TOP SIDE OF L/H WING REQUIRES NDT AND POSSIBLE SUBMITTAL TO FALCON JET. AFTER BLENDING AND NDT THE TWO BLENDS WERE MAPPED AND SUBMITTED TO FALCONJET ENGINEERING FOR REVIEW. FALCONJET ENGINEERING DIVIDED THE SUBMITTAL INTO TWO PROJECTS. FOR THE BLEND ON THE L/H WING TRAILING EDGE UPPER SKIN BETWEEN RIB 14 AND RAIL 6, THICKNESS REMAINING AFTER BLENDING IS STRUCTURALLY ACCEPTABLE PER DFJ LETTER F2000 57-23-2-108 DATED 3/26/18. AT THE SECOND BLEND LOCATION ON THE L/H WING UPPER SURFACE RIB 7 AND CENTER SKIN AFT SEAM THE THICKNESS REMAINING AFTER BLENDING IS STRUCTURALLY ACCEPTABLE PER DFJ LETTER F2000 57-21-2-257 DATED 3/30-2018.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER ROTATION ON TAKEOFF, BOTH THE PILOT SIDE PFD & MFD WENT BLACK. TWO SECONDS LATER, SMOKE BEGAN TO RISE FROM IN FRONT OF THE GLARE SHIELD. THE COPILOT PFD HAD ALL RED FLAGS. NO CBS WERE POPPED & BOTH GENERATORS REMAINED ONLINE. PERFORMED AN EMER RETURN & LANDED OVERWEIGHT AT APPROX 35,000 POUNDS.IN THE COCKPIT, AN AROMA OF SOME TYPE OF ELEC BURN. PULLED BOTH CAPTAIN'S PFD & MFD. A VERY STRONG ELEC BURN SMELL COULD BE SMELLED FROM THE CAPTAIN'S PFD. INSTALLED OVERHAULED DU PFD & MFD 1 POSITION IAW MM 34-01-13-900-801. OPS CHECK ON ALL 4 DU UNITS IAW MM 34-01-13-900-801, GOOD. NO ELEC ODOR WAS SMELLED WITH AVIONICS POWER ON & DU'S RUNNING.
WINDSHIELD XFR LIGHT CAME ON INFLIGHT & SMOKE ODOR. TROUBLE SHOT & FOUND L512DG WAS NOT RECEIVING POWER. FOUND WINDOW PROBE TO BE OUT OF LIMITS, HIGH RESISTANCE. REMOVED DEFECTIVE PILOT WINDSHIELD 10SA & INSTALLED A NEW PILOT WINDSHIELD 10SA. PERFORMED ALL OPERATIONAL & LEAK CHECKS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 56-10-01-900-801.
WHILE RETRACTING THE GEAR, THE NOSE WHEEL VIBRATED EXCESSIVELY ALONG WITH MAKING A LOUD THUMPING NOISE. THIS WAS ACCOMPANIED WITH A RAPID FLICKERING OF THE NOSE GEAR UNSAFE RED LIGHT IN THE COCKPIT. REPLACED LT & RT MAIN GEAR DOOR PROX DETECTORS. R & R CAP LOCK NOSE ASSEMBLY & PERFORMED SEVERAL GEAR SWING NOTING NO VIBRATION ON RETRACTION IAW AMM 32-61-49-900-801.
AFTER TAKEOFF DURING GEAR RETRACTION, THE RT WW OVERHEAT AUDIBLE & LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AFTER 20 SECONDS WARNING CEASED. APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES LATER WARNING LIGHT & AUDIBLE REOCCURRED. CANCELLED WARNING & RETURNED FOR LANDING. R & R RT WW OVERHEAT DETECTOR IAW TASK 26-10-19-900-801. OPS CHECKED GOOD. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL TEST IAW TASK 26-10-17-720-801, TESTED SATISFACTORY.
EN ROUTE, ALL INDICATIONS SHOWED BOTH ENGINES DRAWING FUEL FROM RT TANK. ATTEMPTING TO TRANSFER FUEL FROM LT TO RT TANK UPON SWITCHING RT BOOST PUMP OFF, FUEL 2 ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. TROUBLE SHOT FUEL TRANSFER SYS TO RT CROSS FEED ACTUATOR IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. REMOVED & RE-INSTALLED ACTUATOR. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS & ENG RUNS TO VERIFY PROPER OPERATION. IAW MM 28-21-27-900-801 & 28-21-25-710-801. ACTUATOR PN D97C00-219 & SN C96531.
UPON GEAR RETRACTION APPROXIMATELY 10 LOUD BANGING VIBRATIONS WERE FELT THROUGHOUT THE PLANE. SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL 6 GEARS & GEAR DOOR LIGHTS FLICKERED ON & OFF. ALL LIGHTS & VIBRATIONS STOPPED AFTER APPROXIMATELY 15 SECONDS. NORMAL GEAR EXTENSION & LIGHT INDICATIONS WERE OBSERVED. PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF NLG, NLG HARNESS, DOORS & ATTACHMENTS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED LUBRICATION OF THE NLG, NLG DOORS, MLG & DOORS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL EXTENSIONS & RETRACTIONS OF THE LG WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE MLG, NLG, DOORS WITH GEAR RETRACTED, NO DEFECTS NOTED, WORK DONE IAW AMM 32-10-10.
PUTTING THE GEAR LANDING DOWN. RECEIVED THREE RED AND FLASH. CYCLED GEAR AND CAME DOWN NORMAL. PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECTION OF LANDING GEARS FOR WEAR OR BROKEN PARTS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. JACKED ACFT AND PERFORMED 10 FAULT FREE GEAR SWINGS WHILE CHECKING FOR PROPER OPERATION AND INDICATION, NO DEFECTS NOTED ALL WORK DONE LAW AMM TASK 32-31-00-860-801.
LEFT WHEEL WELL OVERHEAT WARNING CAME ON IN FLIGHT. NR 1 AND NR 2 WHEELS WERE VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH AFTER SHUT DOWN, NR 3 AND NR 4 WERE COOL. INSPECTED WHEEL WELL AREA WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK WITH NO FAULTS OR DEFECTS NOTED. NO BSCS FAULTS. R & R LT WHEEL WELL DETECTOR AND OPS CHECKED GOOD REF MM 26-10-19-900-801.
BATTERY TEMP INDICATED 120 DEGREES WITH AMBER LIGHT. POWERED UP ACFT PERFORMED DIGITAL BATTERY TEMP MONITOR TEST, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. BELT HAD BEEN REPLACED FOR SIMILAR ISSUE NOT LONG AGO. FOUND LT ENG BLEED "Y" DUCT JUST ABOVE FWD SVCC BAY ENTRY DOOR TO HAVE A LEAK. R & R LT ENGINE BLEED SUPPLY DUCT IAW MM 21-00-00. OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD. NO FURTHER BATTERY TEMP INDICATION NOTED AT THIS TIME.
ON INTIAL APU START UP AFTER LANDING, APU GEN WOULDN'T COME ONLINE. SHUTDOWN APU W/BOTH ENGINE RUNNING, THEN RESTARTED APU-GEN CAME ON LINE, ALL APPEARED OK-OFF LOADED PAX & BAGS AND RE-ENTERED JET AND IMMEDIATLY NOTICED ODOR (BELIEVE ELECTRIC BURNING) THAT WAS COMING THROUGH GASPER/WEMAC. SHUTDOWN APU; VISUALLY INSPECTED BOTH SERVICE COMPARTMENTS; CHECKED APU OIL, WAS OK. WAITED 10 MINUTES THEN RESTARTED APU; NORMAL START AND GEN CAME ONLINE BUT AS SOON AS AIR FLOW STARTED THRU GASPERS NOTICED SAME SMELL AGAIN; SHUT DOWN APU. FOUND APU OIL OVER SERVICED AND SERVICED IT TO THE CORRECT LEVEL. CHECKED APU AIR INLET, EXHAUST AND BLEED AIR DELIVERY TO MANIFOLD. NO EVIDENCE OF OIL OR OBSTRUCTION. CHECKED INLET TO HEAT EXCHANGER FOR OBSTRUCTION AND CHECKED THE ACM FOR EVIDENCE OF OIL LEAKAGE. NO DEFECTS. CHECKED INTEGRITY OF APU GENERATOR AND CONDUCTED SEVERAL ENGINE AND APU RUNS WITH INDEPENDENT BLEED SOURCES SELECTED. NO ELECTRICAL SMELL NOTED OR FAILURE OF APU GENERATOR. MX IAW MM CH 49-011.
WHEN MAIN BRAKES ARE RELEASED BRAKE PRESSURE ANNUNICATOR ILLUMINATES, CHECKED LT AND RT SIDE, ONLY ILLUMINATES FOR LT SIDE. LT BRAKE MINELCO RED + RT AILERON MINELCO RED. (M-2B) REMOVED PRESSURE SWITCH ON THE LT SIDE P/N 7G1042 S/N 723. INSTALLED A NEW SWITCH SAME P/N S/N 1337. OPS CHECK GOOD. REPOSITIONED THE NR 1 NR 2 BSCU'S. NR1 P/N C203470060700 S/N 047 AND INSTALLED IN THE NR 2 POSITION. REPOSITION NR2 P/N C203470060700 S/N 183 AND PLACED IN THE NR2 POSITION. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM 32-42-00 NR 32-446. REF FAS 08-299.
NR 2 ENGINE FIRE FAULT LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED. ITEM IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
DURING APPROACH, PLACED GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION AND GOT GEAR UNSAFE LIGHTS. RECYCLED GEAR HANDLE AND GOT ONE GREEN LIGHT AND 3 RED. FOLLOWED EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION AND LANDED SAFELY. FOUND LANDING GEAR DOOR PROX SWITCHES INOPERATIVE, REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH L/H AND R/H LANDING GEAR DOOR PROX SWITCHES. JACKED AIRCRAFT AND PERFORMED NUMEROUS LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONAL TEST ALL CHECKED SATISFACTORY IAW FALCON 2000 MM MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE 32-300.
