ON SHORT APPROACH TO MÉRIDA, APPROXIMATELY 300 AGL AND WITH APPROACH POWER SELECTED, THE RT ENGINE BEGAN SIGNIFICANT POWER SURGES BETWEEN IDLE POWER AND MAXIMUM POWER. EGT, TORQUE, RPM, AND FUEL FLOW WERE ALL SURGING UNCONTROLLABLY AND IN CONCERT. MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND RT ENGINE PROPELLER GOVERNOR CASE LEAKING OIL. R & R RT ENGINE PROP GOVERNOR, OPERATIONAL AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.

ENROUTE TO CCS PILOT REPORTED RIGHT WING OVER HEAT STEADY ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT EXECUTED THE WING OVERHEAT STEADY ANNUNCIATOR PROCEDURE FROM THE EMERGENCY CHECK LIST. THE RT WING OVER HEAT LIGHT EXTINGUISHED WITHIN THE ALLOTTED TIME FRAME. THE PILOT CONTINUED TO CCS AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE IS STILL TROUBLESHOOTING THE CAUSE OF RIGHT WING OVERHEAT LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE RT WING OVERHEAT WIRING IN RT FLIGHT DECK CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL SHORTED TO GROUND. THE WIRE IN QUESTION WAS REPAIRED AND SECURED. GROUND AND FLIGHT OPERATIVE CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.

ON DESCENT, THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO EXTEND THE LG & DID NOT GET A DOWN & LOCKED INDICATION FOR THE NLG. THE LG WAS CYCLED TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES, THE UNSAFE NLG INDICATION LIGHT PERSISTED. THE QRH ITEMS WERE ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO INDICATION THAT THE NLG WAS SUCCESSFULLY EXTENDED. THE SUBSEQUENT LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED SUCCESSFULLY WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. TROUBLESHOOTING REVEALED THAT THE LG POSITION INDICATOR WAS BROKEN, R & R LG POSITION INDICATOR IAW SA227 MM 32-60-10. GND OPERATION CHECKS WERE NORMAL.
