THE MAINTENANCE TEAM FOUND DURING POST-FLIGHT CHECKS HYDRAULIC FLUID DRIPPING FROM THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR WHEEL WELL. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM FOUND HYDRAULIC FLUID DRIPPING FROM THE LEFT EMERGENCY GEAR SHUTTLE VALVE. THE SHUTTLE VALVE WAS REMOVED, AND ALL THE SEALS WERE REPLACED WITH NEW SEALS. THE VALVE WAS REINSTALLED, AND OPS CHECKS WERE PERFORMED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE PITCH TRIM DID NOT WORK WITH AUTO-PILOT ELECTRIC PITCH TRIM ON BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE BELOW 200KTS ON DESCENT. OPERATIONS WERE CONTINUED UNDER MEL 27-31-01. THE BASE MAINTENANCE TEAM DETERMINED THE ELEVATOR ELECTRIC TRIM MOTOR SERVO DRUM DRIVE SHAFT REQUIRED ADJUSTMENT PER AMM. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT PILOTS SIDE PRIMARY FLIGHT DISPLAY POWERS UP WHEN AIRCRAFT BATTERY SWITCH IS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THE LEFT AVIONICS CONTACTOR (KZ001) WAS AT FAULT. THE CONTACTOR WAS REPLACED WITH A NEW UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE MAINTENANCE TEAM DISCOVERED DURING MAINTENANCE CHECKS THAT THE FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY INOPERATIVE. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FORWARD EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACK WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING THE INITIAL CLIMB OUT THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 10000 FT MSL THE 5A LEFT WINDSHIELD CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED, AND THE "WINDSHIELD FAULT - L" CAUTION ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FLIGHT CREW RAN THE QRH PROCEDURE TO RESET CIRCUIT BREAKER BUT THE "W/S FAULT - L" REMAINED ILLUMINATED FOR THE REMAINING FLIGHT. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND A DAMAGED WIRE APD041 NEAR THE POWER CONTROL UNIT IN THE LEFT NACELLE. REROUTED WIRE TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE. COMPLETED ENGINE RUNS FOR OPS CHECKS OF WINDSHIELD HEAT AND FOUND NO DEFECTS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. .
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED DURING PREFLIGHT CHECKS THE LOWER (L) PRE-CHECK LEVER WAS LEAKING FUEL. THE PLANNED FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR REMOVED AND REPLACED THE PRE-CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY WITH A NEW UNIT. OPERATION AND LEAK CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
IT WAS DISCOVERED DURING A ROUTINE CHECK SOOT AROUND THE ACCESS PANEL FURTHER INVESTIGATION DETERMINED THAT THE LEFT ENGINE RUDDER-BIAS BLEEDAIR LINE HAD A HOLE CAUSED BY PROLONGED CONTACT WITH CAMLOCK RECEPTACLE FOR PANEL 321AAL IN THE AFT BAGGAGE BAY. P/N 6614006-3 THE TUBE ASSY WAS REPLACED AND POSITIONED SO NOT TO INTERFERE WITH STRUCTURE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE STABILIZER WOULD NOT FUNCTION DURING THE DESCENT FOR LANDING. THE LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR DETERMINED THAT THE AIRSPEED SWITCH PN D45C-24 WAS FAULTY. A NEW AIRSPEED SWITCH WAS INSTALLED. OPERATIONS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
