PILOT REPORTED THE GARMIN 430 STOPPED WORKING, SCREEN WENT BLANK AND NOTED ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE GPS 430W UNIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH GARMIN 430W INSTALLATION MANUAL WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED FUEL SMELL IN CABIN WITH HEATER RUNNING. UPON INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE DETERMINED TO BE FROM LEAKING HEATER FUEL PUMP THAT WAS DRAINING FROM HEATER VENT LINE. REPLACED FUEL PUMP WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.
PILOT REPORTED FUEL ODOR IN CABIN WITH HEATER TURNED ON. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE HEATER FUEL FILTER BOWL GASKET. FURTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE GASKET WILL BE ADDED ONCE THE MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE GASKET IS BACK TO WORK.

ON TAXI OUT, PILOT REPORTED THE RT MAIN WHEEL BROKEN. PERFORMED VISUAL INSPECTION ON RT MLG & FOUND THE RT MLG AXLE BROKEN & MAIN TIRE WITH DAMAGE. R & R THE RT MLG LOWER BARREL IAW MM CHAPTER 32-10-00. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD. R & R RT MLG WHEEL ASSEMBLY IAW MM CHAPTER 32-40-00. THE AXLE HAD JUST RECEIVED VISUAL INSPECTION ON PHASE 2 CYCLES PRIOR. THE LOWER BARREL & AXLE HAD BEEN INSTALLED SINCE 18 JAN 2011 WITH A TOTAL TIME OF 3892.7 & TOTAL CYCLES OF 9039.
PILOT REPORTED FUEL SMELL IN COCKPIT. FOUND A FUEL LINE FROM THE RT ENG FIREWALL TO THE RT FUEL BOWL LEAKING. THE LINE WAS REPLACED, OPERATIONAL & LEAK CHECK WERE PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
A PAX REPORTED A FUEL SMELL IN THE CABIN AFTER TAKEOFF. TIGHTENED THE DRAIN LINE ON THE RT FUEL AUXILIARY PUMP & PERFORMED A PRESS TEST, NO DEFECTS NOTED.
DURING ROUTINE SCHEDULED INSPECTION, AREAS OF CORROSION WERE FOUND AT LT & RT LWR WING SPAR CAP STRAPS PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED VIA CESSNA SK402-47 ON 04/16/2003 TO SATISFY REQUIREMENT OF CESSNA MEB02-5 & AD2005-12-13. THE CORRECTIVE ACTION TO REMEDIATE CONDITION WILL BE TO PERFORM A DETAILED INSPECTION OF AREA & TO REPLACE LT & RT LWR WING SPAR CAP STRAPS WITH NEW OEM PARTS 5292029-1-2 IAW CURRENT REVISION OF SK402-47.
AT SCHEDULED INSPECTION, NLG DRAG BRACE, PN 5142002-5, WAS FOUND TO BE CRACKED IN THE AREA OF NLG ACTUATOR ATTACH POINT. METHOD OF INSPECTION WAS DYE PENETRANT. THIS CRACK WAS FOUND TO BE WITHIN ALLOWABLE LIMIT OF MEB91-11R1. THIS UNIT HAS BEEN REPAIRED IAW PROCEDURE OUTLINED IN MEB941-11R1 & RETURNED TO SERVICE.

LEFT AND RIGHT ENGINES AND LOST POWER, LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND IT WAS FOUND THE LEFT FUEL SELECTOR VALVE WAS STICKING SELECTOR WAS LUBED AND EXERCISED OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED.
DURING TAXI, PILOT TURNED ON CABIN HEATER. WHEN NO HEAT APPEARED PRESENT, PILOT TURNED OFF HEATER. AT THIS POINT A SMALL FIRE IGNITED IN THE HEATER BAY. PILOT SECURED THE AIRCRAFT AND EXITED THE AIRCRAFT. THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. MAINTENANCE LATER FOUND THE HEATER FUEL SUPPLY LINE FRACTURED.
CREW REPORTED GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT REMAINTED ON WITH GEAR HANDLE IN UP POSITION, MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE LT UPLOCK MICROSWITCH, GEAR SWING CHECKS, OK. AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR SERVICE. (K)
