DURING HEAVY CHECK INSPECTION, FOUND CORROSION AND A PUNCTURE ON THE FUSELAGE SKIN LT SIDE BETWEEN BS 316 - 319. ACCOMPLISHED REPAIR IAW 340SDS042295.
DURING MAINTENANCE, FOUND THAT F/A JUMPSEAT DOES NOT LOCK IN POSITION. AFTER INSPECTION AND TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND STRIP-CHAFING AND PACKER BROKEN NOT ALLOWING TO SLIDE THE SEAT TO THE SIDE AND ALSO WAS UNABLE TO KEEP SEAT ON POSITION, TOP PORTION OF THE SEAT GOES FORWARD.
DURING TAKEOFF ROLL JUST AFTER CTOT WAS APPLIED, THE RT ENGINE STARTED DOING A COMPRESSOR STALL PRIOR TO 60 KNOTS.
FLAPS FAILED TO EXTEND ON APPROACH. R & R FLAP CONTROL VALVE IAW AMM 27-51.
ABI - RIGHT GALLEY FLOOR FRAME STATION 272 TOP FLANGE FOUND CORRODED. FABRICATED A REPAIR ANGLE FILLER AND TWO SHIMS FOR REPAIR IAW SAAB 340 SRM 72LKS 3079 REV 46 CHAPTER 53-70-30. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
ABI - REPAIR ON FRAME 258 WAS FOUND TO BE CORRODED. REMOVED THE PREVIOUS REPAIR AND CLEANED THE AREA. FABRICATED A REPAIR ANGLE, SHIM AND TWO DOUBLERS IAW SAAB SRM 72LKS 3079 REVISION 46 CHAPTERS 53-70-30 AND 51-40-21. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
ABI - FOUND CARGO FRAME 686.888 WAS FOUND TO BE CHAFED BY THE CARGO DOOR CABLE. REMOVED THE CHAFED FRAME, INSTALLED NEW FRAME. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)

JFK - FLT 5045 - CREW REPORTED INTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF EMERGENCY LIGHT AND FOUND EMERGENCY LIGHT AT SEAT 8BC FLICKERING. BULB WAS REPLACED AND AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
BGR - FLT 9753 - CREW REPORTED VIBRATION IN FLIGHT AT 1396, 1270, AND 1230 PROPELLER RPM. CREW COULD NOT TELL IF VIBRATION WAS FROM LEFT OR RIGHT ENGINE. MAINTENANCE COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AN INTENSIVE INSPECTION OF FUSELAGE AND PROPELLERS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR AN FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT PASSED FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHT AND WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)
DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, A YAW VIBRATION WAS FELT OVER 230 KNOTS. AIRCRAFT TURNED BACK TO BOS. INSPECTED BOOTS, VORTEX GENS, RUDDER AND TRIM TAB BEARINGS, CABLE TENSIONS IAW AMM. NO DEFECTS NOTED. PERFORMED FCF AND PASSED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. (M)

FLIGHT ATTENDANT EMERGENCY ARM LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE. REPLACED BULB.
CREW SMELLED STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL IN THE REAR OF THE AIRCRAFT. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE RIGHT RECIRCULATION FAN FROZEN AND CAUSING THE SMELL. REPLACED THE FAN.
FLYING THROUGH SEVERE RAIN STORMS THE LEFT AND RIGHT ENGINES EXPERIENCED POWER INTERRUPTIONS, THEY OCCURED WITH AND WITHOUT THE ENGINE ANTI-ICE ON. A 10 PERCENT TO 20 PERCENT LOSS OF TORQUE WAS NOTED WITH YAW CHANGES AND AUDIBLE BANGS. ALSO, BOTH IGNITION LIGHTS CAME ON. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN LAX WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ENGINE AND BORESCOPE INSPECTIONS ON BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT ENGINES IAW FAULT ISOLATION GUIDES IN THE GE MM 72-00-00 PAGES 139 TO 147. NO DISCREPANCIES WERE FOUND, THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER AND THE FDAU WERE REMOVED FOR STATISTICAL DOWNLOADING.
EMERGENCY ARM LIGHT ON THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS PANEL FAILS TO ILLUMINATE. REPLACED LIGHT BULB.
LEFT FIRE TEST FAILS TO ILLUMINATE THE FIRE DETECTION FAIL LIGHT. MAINTENANCE REINITIALIZED THE WARNING ELECTRONIC UNIT, ALL CHECKS GOOD.
AFTER TAKEOFF AND LANDING GEAR UP, 3 GREEN LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED, BUT YELLOW TRANSITION LIGHT REMAINED ON. IT APPEARED TO THE CREW THE WHEELS WERE UP. MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED THE NOSE GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH AND PERFORMED LANDING GEAR SWINGS.
AVIONICS SMOKE LIGHT INDICATION CAME ON MOMENTARILY, AFTER 5 MINUTES IT CAME ON AGAIN MOMENTARILY. SMOKE LIGHT CAME ON FOR THE 3RD TIME AND STAYED ON FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. REPLACED THE AVIONICS SMOKE DETECTOR.
DURING PREFLIGHT, CREW REPORTED 5 EXIT LIGHTS INOPERATIVE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED EMERGENCY BATTERY PACK 23LN.
THE LEFT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT WITH FLUCTUATING OIL PRESSURE, THE ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN IN FLIGHT. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE ENGINE TO HAVE LOST OIL BEYOND SERVICABLE LIMITS. REPLACED THE LEFT ENGINE AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT NR 5320 (FSM/DFW) PILOT REPORTED THAT THE RIGHT ENGINE FLAMED OUT ON TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED BORESCOPE ON THE RIGHT HAND ENGINE IAW CT7 MM 72-00. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE RIGHT HAND STAGE 3 COMPRESSOR BLADE TORN; BLADE IS NOT WITHIN LIMITS. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE RIGHT HAND ENGINE IAW SAAB AMM 71-00. PERFORMED LEAK CHECK AND RUNS: CHECKS WERE GOOD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
FLIGHT 7752 - MAF-DFW - PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING TAKEOFF AND CLIMB AT APPROX 400 FEET, A SERIES OF LOUD BANGS WERE HEARD INDICATIVE OF A COMPRESSOR STALL ON THE RT ENG. THIS WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A MASTER WARNING, TRIPLE CHIME AND THE RT ENGINE OIL PRESS LIGHT ILLUMINATING AS WELL AS THE RT ENGINE GOING INTO AUTOCOARSEN. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED, AN INFLIGHT SHUTDOWN WAS PERFORMED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO MAF W/O INCIDENT. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PILOT HAD LEFT THE CTOT TURNED ON. MX PERSONNEL PERFORMED A BORESCOPE CHECK AND ENGINE RUNS AND WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. A TEST FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED WITH ALL OPERATIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
