INTERMITTENT METALLIC ACIDIC SMELL IN THE COCKPIT DURING CLIMB OUT AND AGAIN DURNING DESCENT. NOT NOTICED IN THE CABIN. SEEMED TO BE LOCALIZED TO THE COCKPIT. UPON ARRIVAL TO AIRCRAFT NO SMELL WAS NOTED, SPOKE WITH CREW AND THEY STATED THAT IT WAS A SMELL SIMILAR TO NAIL POLISH REMOVER. DUE TO SMELL BEING NOTED ONLY IN THE COCKPIT PERFORMED GVI OF FWD AVIONICS BAY AND NOTED NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY AND DID NOT NOTICE ANY UNUSUAL SMELLS. INSPECTED BATTERY 1 AND FOUND NO ABNORMALITIES AND BOTH BATTERIES ARE READING TEMPS IN NORMAL RANGES. RAN AIRCRAFT ONLY ON PACK 1 FOR 10 MINUTES AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE ANY UNUSUAL SMELLS. RAN BOTH ENGINES AND BOTH PACKS ON WITH CREW WITH APU BLEED OFF AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE SMELL, NO SIMILAR HISTORY NOTED A/C OKAY FOR CONTINUED SERVICE.

NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE TO WEIGHT AND BALANCE, REPAIR WEIGHS 74 GRAMS. DETAILED VISUAL INSPECTION (DET) EXTERNAL SKIN WITH AN INSPECTION THRESHOLD OF 20,000 FC OR 26,600 FH, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST AND AN INSPECTION INTERVAL OF 10,000 FC OR 13,300 FH, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST. NOT TIME LIMIT GIVEN.
R1 AFT EVACUATION SLIDE FITTING HAS A BROKEN SPRING. REMOVED AND REPLACED R1 AFT EVACUATION SLIDE FITTING SPRING REF E-175 AMM 53-10-25.
RH FORWARD FLOOR SEAT TRACK IS CORRODED JUST AFT OF THE FLOOR BEAM AT FRAME 17. (C-CHECK RO 3/4/2025) REMOVED AND REPLACED RH FORWARD FLOOR SEAT TRACK FR12-FR20 REF EMNB SRM 51-40-08. REPLACED WITH NEW OEM PART, NO WEIGHT AND BALANCE ADJUSTMENT REQUIRED. RESTORED SURFACE PROTECTION AND APPLIED CIC REF EMB SRM 51-23-06, REF CPM 51-25-00-910-001-A. PO#: 325301, 326162
