CORROSION WAS FOUND ON THRUST BEAM UPPER SURFACE AT HS CENTER SECTION STA. 1112.
CORROSION WAS FOUND ON LT WING LOWER SKIN UPPER SURFACE AT WS 155 NEAR FUEL BOOST PUMP ACCESS DOOR CUTOUT AREA.
CORROSION WAS FOUND ON LT WING LOWER SKIN TRAILING EDGE AREA AT WS 450.
CORROSION WAS FOUND ON MAIN CARGO DOOR BODY UPPER SILL.
IN FLIGHT, SMOKE IN COCKPIT WITH STRONG SMELL OF ELECTRICAL BURNING. EMERGENCY DECLARED, REQUESTED RETURN TO AIRPORT. COMPLIED WITH QRH. CAPTAIN PUT ON QUICK DOM OXYGEN MASK. SMOKE DISSIPATED AFTER 1 MINUTE. FOUND AIR GASPER FAN CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED OPEN UPON INSPECTION ON POST FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY IN SERVICE FLYING UNDER RAI MEL NR 306040517-1 REF 21-24 CAT D DUE DATE: 08/03/2017. THE DEFECTIVE PART (GASPER FAN) S/N WILL BE ESTABLISHED UPON REMOVAL. REPLACEMENT PART ON ORDER.
AIRCRAFT WAS UNDERGOING C1 CHECK, DURING INSPECTION IAW MFG CARD 57-800-01-01, FOUND CORROSION AT LT LOWER WING SKIN BETWEEN WBL 292-WBL 332 AT T/E NEAR THE REAR SPAR. BLENDED OUT OF THE CORROSION HAS CREATED DAMAGE OUT OF SRM LIMITS. THERE IS NOT A APPLICABLE SRM REPAIR FOR THIS LOCATION. MFG PRODUCES DOCUMENT 121083-R046 PROVIDES INSTRUCTION TO REPAIR THE SUBJECT DAMAGE. THE RECIRTIFICATION WAS ACCOMPLISHED IAW IAW MFG DOCUMENT 121083-R046.
