CLOSED LH HYD SHUT-OFF VALVE. REMOVED LH HYD PUMP IAW MM 29-10-04. PUMP SHAFT STILL IN TACT AND DID NOT NOTE ANY DEBRIS IN HYD PUMP. REMOVED & REPLACED & PRIMED LT HYD PUMP IAW MM 29-10-04. RAN ENGINES AND NO LEAKS AT THIS TIME FROM FILTER BOWLS AND LH EDP CONNECTIONS. OPERATED SPEED BRAKES SEVERAL TIMES FOR ADDITIONAL BLEEDING.
EMERGENCY EXIT WINDOW SHADE IS FAILED IN AN 80% CLOSED POSITION INHIBITING VISIBILITY IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY EGRESS. UPPER 4 GUIDE ROLLERS APPEAR TO BE HAVE ACCESS WEAR. PERFORMED ADJUST OF MED UPPER & LOWER LATCH ROLLERS IAW AMM 52-10-00. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF MED IAW 52-10-00. CHECK GOOD. DOOR OPERATES NORMALLY. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF STEP LIGHTS. CHECK GOOD. PERFORMED FINAL OPS CHECK OF CABIN DOOR. CABIN DOOR DIFFICULT TO OPEN ONCE AGAIN. PERFORMED ADJUSTMENTS OF UPPER & LOWER LATCH ROLLERS. REPAIRED CORROSION ON VERTICAL STABILIZER AFT SPAR, LT SPAR CLIP APPROXIMATELY 11 INCHES ABOVE LOWER RUDDER HINGE BY MECHANICAL BLENDING, PERFORMING NDT, TREATING, PRIMING, AND TOP COATING PER REPAIR MEMO.
OILY BLEED AIR SMELL IN COCKPIT AND CABIN WITH ACM RUNNING. STARTS WHEN APU BLEED AIR IS TURNED ON AND CONTINUES INFLIGHT. AFTER A 1 HOUR FLIGHT WITH APU OFF SMELL WAS STILL PRESENT IN COCKPIT. ****** CORRECTIVE ACTION ***** ACCOMPLISHED VISUAL & BORESCOPE INSPECTION OF APU WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ACCOMPLISHED TASK CARD#: TC-680-21-120905M ECS DUCT BURN OUT PROCEDURE AS OUTLINED IN TASK CARD. REMOVED AND REPLACED COALESCER WITH CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PART, PIN: 83237-12, SIN: NIA. IAW: MM CHAP.12-19-00. LEAK & OPERATIONALLY CHECKS GOOD. ALSO CHECKED APU OIL SERVICE, OIL SERVICE CHECKED GOOD. IAW: MM CHAP. 12-20-49, AND ENGINE/SYSTEM MM CHAP. 49-00-00. RAN APU 1 .5 HRS. WITH NO OIL SMELL NOTED, ALSO RAN BOTH ENGINES FOR AN HOUR WITH NO OIL SMELL NOTED.
RIGHT MLG LANDING GEAR RETRACTION - AFTER TAKEOFF RT MAIN GEAR GREEN DOWN LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES THE LIGHT WENT OUT. THE CREW IS CERTAIN THE RT GEAR WAS UP AS NORMAL. NO RED LIGHT WAS OBSERVED DURING THIS EVENT (RED INDICATED LIGHT MEANS LANDING GEAR MISCOMPARE). TROUBLESHOT TO RIGHT HAND MAIN LANDING GEAR DOWNLOCK SWITCH. JACKED AIRCRAFT, AND REMOVED AND REPLACED SWITCH. ADJUSTED SWITCH, GEAR SWINGS GOOD AT THIS TIME WITH NO ISSUES. OPS CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME. DOWN JACKED AIRCRAFT. APPLIED SEALANT TO SWITCH, ENSURED IT WAS CURED.
COCKPIT SMOKE - IN CRUISE AT 43,000 FEET WITH THE TEMPERATURE FOR THE CABIN AND COCKPIT SELECTED FULL COLD, THE CREW NOTICED A HOT SMOKY SMELL AND SAW A LIGHT, UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION OF GRAY SMOKE THROUGHOUT THE CABIN AND COCKPIT. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EMERGENCY/ABNORMAL CHECKLIST WE SELECTED THE LEFT PRESSURE SOURCE SELECTOR AND THE SMOKE CLEARED. //SIGNOFF//PER TROUBLE SHOOTING TREE, NO FAULT CODES PRESENT, NO CAS MESSAGES PRESENT INSPECTED OIL LEVEL FOUND WITHIN I MRTS. ALL FUNCTIONS OF THE GEAR WARNING SYSTEM INDICATIONS AND GEAR EXTENSIONS AND RETRACTION OPERATIONS ARE CHECKING NORMALLY. CONTACTED MANUFACTURER THIS CONFIRMED SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY. INSPECTED APU, FOUND FUEL NOZZLE AT THE 5 O'CLOCK POSITION B NUT & CONNECTING FUEL LINE B NUT LOOSE. TIGHTENED B NUTS & RAN APU FOR LEAK CHECK. LEAK CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 49-30-06. LEAK & OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD, CLOSED ACCESS ITEMS. COMPLIED WITH TASK CARD TC-680-21-120905M ECS DUCT BURN OUT.
CORROSION WAS FOUND UNDER NUTPLATES ON LT SIDE OF APU INLET FAIRING ATTACHMENT. REPAIRED LT & RT LOWER RUDDER FAIRING ATTACHMENT ANGLES IAW ERO-593764 REV IR, DATED JULY 15, 2014. FAIRING ANGLE REPAIR THIS IS CONSIDERED A MINOR REPAIR. SDR COMPLETED.
NOSE GEAR DID NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKEOFF. INDICATED GREEN WITH RED UNLOCK ILLUMINATED. LOWERED HANDLE GEAR INDICATED ALL THREE GREEN WITH NO RED UNLOCK, LANDED NORMALLY. JACKED AIRCRAFT, RAN GEAR NUMEROUS TIMES, COULD NOT DUPLICATE. CLEANED UP LOCK SWITCHES AND LUBRICATED. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED DOWN LOCK SWITCHES. CHECKED SWITCH RIGGING. RIG CHECK GOOD. CHECKED NOSE STRUT SERVICE, STRUT SERVICE GOOD. REF CE-680 MM 20-00-0. AND 32-20-00.

TROUBLESHOT TO BAD NOSE WHEEL STEERING UNIT REMOVED AND REPLACED NWS UNIT IAW CE-680 M/M CHAPTER 32-50-00. ADJUSTED NWS CABLES IAW MM 32-50-00. TRAVEL CHECKS GOOD, RIGGING AND OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW 32-50-00. RETRACT CENTERING AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD.
DURING CLIMB OUT NOTICED OIL ODOR. ODOR DISSIPATED AND REOCCURED 20 MINUTES LATER. MOST NOTABLE FROM COCKPIT SIDE WEMACS. LESSER ODOR IN CABIN, 15 MINUTES LATER ODOR DISSIPATED ONLY TO REOCCUR UPON LANDING. RAN BOTH ENGINE ON GROUND WITH ACM IN THE OFF POSITION AND NO ODOR WAS NOTED IN CABIN OR COCKPIT. RAN ENGINES AND APU, NO ODOR NOTED. INSPECTED ENGINE INLETS EXHAUSTS AND DIFUSERS. NO OIL RESIDUE NOTED. INSPECTED APU INLET, EXHAUST DRAIN TUBES AND BLEED AIR TUBED. NO OIL RESIDUE NOTED. INSPECTED WATER SEPARATOR AND DOWN STREAM BLEED AIR PLUMBING. NO OIL RESIDUE NOTED. PERFORMED OPS & LEAK CHECKED GOOD. WORK DONE IN REF MM 49-00-00.

RAISED THE GEAR HANDLE: NOSE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED, RT AND LT MAIN AND RED UNLOCK LIGHT REMAINED ON. PUT THE GEAR HANDLE BACK DOWN. FOUND WHEEL SQUAT SWITCH NOT MAKING CONTACT DUE TO NOSE STRUT EXTENSION. SERVICED NOSE STRUT IAW MM 32-20-00. PERFORMED NUMEROUS GEAR SWINGS WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
AFTER TAKEOFF THE NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. R & R NOSE STEERING UNIT IAW MM 32-60-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD. GEAR SWINGS OPS CHECKED GOOD.

REMOVED STARTER GEN & SEAL, FOUND RUBBER DEBRIS ON SHAFT. DOWNLOADED EDU'S. COMPLIED WITH SB 25353R1. REINSTALLED ALTERNATOR & STARTER GEN IAW MM 24-20-10 & 80-10-00. PERFORMED ENG OIL FLUSH. DRAINED OIL FROM GEARBOX & INSTALLED NEW OIL FILTER. RAN ENGS AT 80 % FOR 10 MINS. REMOVED & INSTALLED NEW FILTER & CHIP DETECTOR; NO DEBRIS NOTED. DRAINED & SERVICED OIL. DISCONNECTED NLG DOOR ROD END AND PERFORMED GEAR SWING WITH NLG NOW LOCKING IAW MCC, CHECKED NLG STRT SERVICING WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND. COMPLIED WITH NLG EXTENSION AND RETRACTION IAW MM 32-30-00. RECONNECTED BOTH NOSE GEAR DOORS PUSH RODS AND COMPLIED WITH FOLLOW ON GEAR SWINGS USING HYD. TESTED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.

FOUND AIRSPEED LAGGING ON CO-PILOTS SIDE INCREASING AND DECREASING LEAK CKS GOOD. SUSPECT BLOCKAGE. DISCONNECTED AND FLUSHED LINE. REMOVED BLOCKAGE. RECONNECTED LINE LEAK AND OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW MM 34-11-00 LEAK CHECK IAW FAR 91.411.

RT BRAKE PEDAL ON CO-PILOT SIDE IS SOFT. CAPTAIN SIDE BRAKES ARE GOOD. REMOVED LT MASTER CYLINDER, INSTALLED NEW UNIT. REMOVED RT CO-PILOTS MASTER CYLINDER & INSTALLED NEW UNIT. REMOVED PUMP RELAY AND INSTALLED NEW RELAY. BLED BRAKES IAW C560 MM 32-42-00 FOR ALL OTHER WORK REF C560 MM 32-42-02 BRAKE SYSTEM OPERATES NORMALLY.
WHEN BOTH BRAKE PEDALS ARE DEPRESSED, THE RT ONE IS MUCH SOFTER THAN THE LT. THIS HOLDS FOR BOTH THE CAPTAIN AND FIRST OFFICER RESPECTIVE SIDES. VISUALLY INSPECTED RT BRAKE ASSY AND LINES. PERFORMED BRAKE BLEED ON RT SIDE IAW MM 32-42-00. TAXIED ACFT AND BRAKE SYSTEM PERFORMED NORMAL. NO LEAKS NOTED.
ON GROUND AT PBI, LEFT GENERATOR WILL NOT TAKE ANY LOAD EVEN WHEN RIGHT GENERATOR IS IN THE OFF POSITION. PAX SAID THERES WAS A ELECTRICAL SMELL IN BACK IF AIRCRAFT. ADJUSTED FCU AND FDU LINKAGES PER PRATT & WHITNEY JT15D-5D MM CHAPTER 73-20-01. OPERATIONAL CHECK SATISFACTORY. FOUND COMPRESSOR DELIVERY P3 LINE LEAKING. REMOVED AND REPLACED P3 LINE WITH A MANUFACTURED LINE FROM PRATT & WHITNEY. DOT APPROVAL 4-58 PER PRATT & WHITNEY JT15D-5D MM CHAPTER 73-10-04. LEAK CHECK SATISFACTORY.
AOA HEATER ANUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED WITH PITOT/STATIC HEAT ON, ABORTED TAKEOFF. OPS CHECKED AOA HEATER SEVERAL TIMES. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. NO DEFECTS FOUND AT THIS TIME.
LEFT ENGINES SHUTS DOWN WHEN THROTTLE BROUGHT BACK TO FLIGHT IDLE. SUSPECT QUADRANT SWITCH. RAN ACFT, FOUND IDLE TO LOW. PERFORMED POWER CONTROLS ADJUSTMENT, SET IDLE, FLIGHT IDLE ADJUSTMENTS. CHECKED TAKEOFF POWER AND CUTOFF. OPS CHECK GOOD ALL IAW CE560 MM 71-01-03.
