NR 1 AND 2 N2 NEEDLES WENT TO THE PARK POSITION IN FLIGHT, NR STILL READ CORRECTLY. ALL OTHER INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. DIVERTED WITH LANDING AT HOSPITAL TO DROP OFF PATIENT TO LANDING AT GLS AIRPORT. REMOVED INSTRUMENT, DETERMINED IT WAS HOT, ALLOWED IT TO COOL OFF, REINSTALLED, NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.
INTERMITTENT FIRE WARNING AUDIO AND NR 1 FIRE EXT RELAY CHATTERING. REPLACED NR 1 ENGINE DETECTOR.
DURING CRUISE FLIGHT THE ENGINE FIRE AUDIO SOUNDED WITHOUT THE ACCOMPANYING ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT. AIRCRAFT WAS LANDED AT BASE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE FOUND PLUG 105W - FOR COPILOT CYCLIC STICK - COVERED IN SOME SORT OF STICKY SUBSTANCE THAT HAD MIGRATED INTO CONNECTOR. POSSIBLY A SPILL OF COKE OR COFFEE WITH SUGAR. CLEANED WITH MISTY AND APPLIED STABILANT 22. DURING OPS FLIGHT PERFORMED PERCUSSION AND WIGGLE TESTS ON ALL APPLICABLE SWITCHES IN COCKPIT TO NO AVAIL.
DURING CRUISE THE FIRE WARNING AUDIO ACTIVATED WITHOUT AN ASSOCIATED WARNING LIGHT. CHECKED CONNECTORS IN SYSTEM, COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM.
