DURING PAX DEPARTURE FROM ACFT THAT THE LOWER STEP OF THE MAIN ENTRY STAIRS FAILED. THE LOWER STEP & SUPPORT CONTROLLER WAS REPLACED WITH NEW.
AN INTERMITTENT YAW DAMPENER FAULT, INDICATING THAT THE AUTO PILOT WOULD TRIP OFF WHILE IN TURBULENCE. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THE RUDDER SERVO PN 622-6717-104 SN 1MNXJ TO BE WEAK. THIS UNIT WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE & AN OVERHAULED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. OPERATIONS CHECKED OK.
CREW REPORTED AN ANTI-ICE BLEED AIR DUCT FAILURE WARNING IN FLIGHT. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THE WING ANTI-ICE CONTAINMENT DUCT PRESS SWITCH HAD FAILED. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED WITH NEW. LEAK & OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE RT RETRACTABLE LANDING LIGHT WOULD NOT RETRACT AND STOW. TROUBLESHOOTING IDENTIFIED THE LANDING LIGHT ACTUATOR AS DEFECTIVE. REMOVED THE RT LANDING LIGHT ACTUATOR AND INSTALLED AN OVERHAULED UNIT. FUNCTIONAL CHECKED SATISFACTORY, ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE NR 1 PDF INDICATED THE LOSS OF IAS AND ALT ON THE CAPTAINS SIDE WHILE ENROUTE. TROUBLESHOOTING INDICATED THE NR 1 ADC DEFECTIVE. THE ADC WAS REPLACED WITH AN O/H UNIT IAW AMM 34-10-01.
CREW REPORTED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS INOPERATIVE. TROUBLESHOOTING IDENTIFIED THE AIR CON COMPRESSOR MOTOR AS DEFECTIVE. A MODIFIED MOTOR WAS INSTALLED, FUNCTIONAL CHECKED SATISFACTORY.
THE CREW REPORTED THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM INOPERATIVE. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THE AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR MOTOR DEFECTIVE. A MODIFIED MOTOR WAS INSTALLED. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
CREW REPORTED THE LT INVERTER FAILED IN FLIGHT. FOUND THE LT AC INVERTER TO BE DEFECTIVE. INSTALLED AN O/H UNIT, FUNCTIONAL CHECKED SATISFACTORY.
FLIGHT CREW REPORTED HEARING A POPPING SOUND FROM BEHIND THE COCKPIT LT SIDEWALL AREA FOLLOWED BY A SLIGHT ELECTRICAL ODOR FOR A PERIOD OF 15 SECONDS. NO SYSTEMS WERE AFFECTED AS ALL WERE OPERATING NORMALLY FOR THE DURATION OF THE FLIGHT (1.2 HRS). MFG AIRCRAFT SERVICES TECHNICIANS WERE DISPATCHED AND REMOVED ALL LT SIDEWALL PANELS FOR ACCESS. INSPECTION OF ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, CONNECTORS, AND WIRING REVEALED NO DEFECTS. SUBSEQUENT FLIGHTS WERE ALL UNEVENTFUL.
