DURING A HOVER WHILE PREPARING TO TAKEOFF, THE ENGINE DECELERATED. A HOVERING AUTOROTATION WAS SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED. UPON LANDING, THE ENGINE STABILIZED AT 40 PERCENT N WITH THE THROTTLE FULL OPEN AND THE COLLECTIVE FULL DOWN. FUEL CONTROL MALFUNCTION.
