C/W EMB-505 FIM TASK 21-20-00-810-801-A WITH NFF C/W HIGH POWER RUNS AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE SQK. PER MOC REQUEST POWERED ON ALL GALLEY/CABIN IFE EQUIP, PORTABLE MONITORS AND CABIN LIGHTING FOR A PERIOD OF 1 HR WITH NFF. CHECKED ALL PFD AND MFD AVIONICS COOLINGS FANS WITH NO SMELLS OR DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.
IN A CLEAN CONFIGURATION, WITH FLAPS AND GEAR UP, AT FLIGHT LEVEL 410 AND A CRUISE POWER SETTING, WE RECEIVED AN AURAL HIGH-SPEED WARNING. THE AURAL WARNING LASTED APPROXIMATELY 15 SECONDS. AS SOON AS WE HEARD THE WARNING, THE THROTTLES WERE BROUGHT TO IDLE; HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. IN AN EFFORT TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT, THE PILOT FLYING DEPLOYED THE SPEED BRAKES FOR APPROXIMATELY TEN SECONDS AT WHICH TIME THE ORAL WARNING SILENCED. UNFORTUNATELY, WE DO NOT REMEMBER THE INDICATED AIRSPEED, ONLY THE MACH NUMBER, WHICH INCREASED TO MACH 0.806. TECHS PERFORMED THE OVERSPEED INSPECTION/CHECK. ALL 3 PHASES OF THE INSPECTION WERE PERFORMED. NO DEFECTS OR DISCREPANCIES RELATED TO AN OVERSPEED CONDITION ARE NOTED. ALL WORK PERFORMED PER AMM 05-50-04-200-801A
EMERGENCY LIGHT TURNED ON IN FLIGHT AND WONT EXTINGUISH. REPLACED THE BATTERIES. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 33-52-01.
AT FL410 WE HAD A RED DOOR PAX OPEN CAS MESSAGE APPEAR. AFTER ABOUT 2 MINUTES THE LIGHT WENT OUT, AND THEN DURING OUR DESCENT IT CONTINUED TO COME ON AND OFF THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE FLIGHT. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED AND REPLACED MCD WIRE HARNESS IAW PHENOM 300 SWPM 20-45-30. P/N: 507-26093-401 LOT NO. F043180584. REMOVED AND REPLACED #4 PAX DOOR SWITCH REF PHENOM 300 MM 52-71-20. OPS CHECKS GOOD NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. DOOR SWITCH P/N OFF 505-25962-401 P/N ON 505-25962-401
RED WARNING DOOR PAX OPEN, IN FLIGHT RAN QRH, REMAINED ILLUMINATED. NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING. FOUND DAMAGED WIRES TO BE W801-00007-22 AND W801-00003-22 BELONGING TO THE DOOR LIGHTING CIRCUIT AND THE DOOR POSITION SWITCH CIRCUITS RESPECTIVELY. SPLICED DAMAGED WIRES AND WRAPPED IN ROUND IT FOR FURTHER PROTECTION. FUNCTION TESTED CABIN DOOR SWITCH SYSTEM. FUNCTION TESTED MED LIGHTING SYSTEM. FUNCTION TESTS PASSED. ALL WORK DONE IAW EMB-505 SWPM 20-41-20, EMB-505 WM 52-70-50, 33-50-50-1, AND EMB-505 AMM TASK 33-26-00-710-801-A, AND TASK 52-71-20-820-801-A.

EMER LIGHT AS YOU STEP UP INTO COCKPIT IS OUT. WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING PILOTS DISCREPANCY NOTED COCKPIT STEP LIGHT IS NOT LISTED AS AN EMERGENCY LIGHT IN AMM 33-52-00 BUT LISTED AS COURTESY LIGHT. PERFORMED OPS CHECK PER AMM 33-26-00. OPS CHECK GOOD. NO DEFECT NOTED
DUCT 1 OVERTEMP YELLOW CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT WHILE ENTERING ICE CONDITIONS AT 9000 FEET. THERE WAS A SMELL IN CABIN AS WELL AS A TEMP RISE WHEN ANTI-ICE ON. COMPLIED WITH QRH CHKLST & ABLE TO GET CAS MESSAGE OUT. APPLIED POWER. FOUND NO ACTIVE DUCT OVERTEMP CAS.PER MCC AND PREVIOUS TROUBLESHOOTING HISTORY, REMOVED AND REPLACED TEMP SENSOR IAW AMM 21-61-04. OPS CHECK GOOD. REMOVED & REPLACED TEMP MODULATION VALVE IAW AMM 21-61-02. RAN BOTH ENGINES AND PERFORMED OPS & LEAK CHECKS WITH SATISFACTORY RESULT.

CABIN EMERG LIGHT: DURING PREFLIGHT WITH THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS IN THE ON OR ARMED POSITION, LIGHTS BEGAN TO FLASH OFF AND ON AFTER ABOUT 15 SECONDS AND WILL NOT STOP FLASHING UNTIL THE SWITCH GETS PLACED IN THE OFF POSITION. ///SIGN-OFF/// PERFORMED NJA TC-505-33-200403 DATED 04/23/20 EMBRAER 505 EMER LIGHT TOP CHARGE. MAIN DOOR: THE MAIN CABIN DOOR WILL ONLY OPEN 1/3 OF THE WAY, EXTREME COLD LAST NIGHT AND WE WERE UNABLE TO GET A HANGAR. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FWD AND AFT MAIN CABIN DOOR TELESCOPIC RODS. IAW PHENOM AMM 52-12-25-000. OPS CHECK GOOD.
DURING ACCOMPLISHMENT OF EMBRAER SERVICE BULLETIN 505-55-0004 REV 01 (DATED 06/24/2020) WE NOTED THE FOLLOWING MASS BALANCE WEIGHTS BELOW TOLERANCE AT LEFT ELEVATOR. ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS PART NUMBER PE915109-L33 (11 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 84G), HORN MASS WEIGHT PART NUMBER PE915109-L42 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 1095G), MASS WEIGHT INBOARD PART NUMBER PE915109-L40 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 2809G) MASS WEIGHT OUTBOARD PART NUMBER PE915109-L41 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 2049G). ALL WEIGHTS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW MASS WEIGHTS AND THE ELEVATOR BALANCING WAS PERFORMED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. THE ELEVATOR WAS RE-IDENTIFIED TO PART NUMBER 505-11094-615, AS PER SERVICE BULLETIN INSTRUCTIONS. WE ALSO NOTED THE FOLLOWING RIGHT ELEVATOR MASS BALANCE WEIGHTS BELOW TOLERANCE: ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS PART NUMBER PE915109-L33 (12 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 84G), HORN MASS WEIGHT PART NUMBER PE915109-L42 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 1095G). ALL WEIGHTS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW MASS WEIGHTS AND THE ELEVATOR BALANCING WAS PERFORMED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED.THE ELEVATOR WAS RE-IDENTIFIED TO PART NUMBER 505-11094-616, AS PER SERVICE BULLETIN INSTRUCTIONS. THIS REPORT COMPLIES WITH FAA 14 CFR PART 135 OPERATORâS GMM REQUIREMENTS.
SHORTLY AFTER LEVELING IN CRUISE FLIGHT, CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM BEGAN TO CYCLE ON AND OFF WITH EMERGENCY LIGHTING SWITCH IN ARMED POSITION. CYCLED SWITCH TO ON, LIGHTS STAYED ON, BACK TO ARMED, LIGHTS SWITCHED OFF, THEN COMMENCED CYCLING ON AND OFF AGAIN. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FORWARD AND AFT EMERGENCY BATTERIES. INSTALLED A TESTED FORWARD BATTERY AND REPAIR AFT BATTERY. COMPLIED WITH OPERATIONAL CHECKS AND FORD AND AFT BATTERIES AS NEEDED. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
ON TAXI OUT THE CO PILOTS RT BRAKE WAS GRABBING AND WAS DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE ACFT STRAIGHT ON TAXIWAY. THE RT BRAKE SEEMED HARDER PRESSURE THAN LT. THE LT BRAKE ACTION SEEMED TO BE REACTING APPROPRIATELY. (LT SEAT POSITION BRAKES SEEMED ALMOST NORMAL, WITH VERY MINOR PULL TO RT. WHICH WAS EASILY CORRECTABLE TO MAINTAIN STRAIGHT TAXI). BLED BRAKES IAW MM 32-42-00. LEAK AND OPS CHECKS GOOD.
COPILOT SIDE, RT BRAKE PEDAL GOES SOFT DURING TAXI. AFTER PEDAL WAS ALMOST TO THE FLOOR, RELEASED PRESSURE, AND BRAKING WAS RESTORED. THIS HAPPENED 5 TIMES ON A 2 MILE TAXI. R & R COPILOTS RT MASTER CYLINDER IAW MM CHP 32-42-01. BLEED SYS IAW MM CHP 32-42-20. BRAKE SYS, OPS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.
WHILE TAXIING FROM RT SEAT, THE RT BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR. PERFORMED RT BRAKE BLEEDING PROCEDURES 4 TIMES IAW MM CH 32-42-00.
DURING TAXI FO SIDE RT BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN WITH NO PRESSURE. BLED RT BRAKE IAW MM 32-42-00. PERFORMED TAXI CHECK. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW MM 32-42-01.
WHEN RT THROTTLE WAS RETARDED TO IDLE AFTER SPEED BRAKE CHECK, RT ENGINE FLAMED OUT. N1, N2, AND ITT WENT SMOOTHLY TO ZERO. OPERATED RT ENG AND DUPLICATED DISCREPANCY. CHECKED RIGGING OF RT ENG. ADJUSTED FCU/FLOW DIVIDER INTERCONNECT ROD AND SET FWD CUTOFF TOP CLEARANCE. OPERATED ENG AND PERFORMED SEVERAL SPEED BRAKE TESTS WITH NO ENG SHUTDOWN. ALSO VERIFIED IDLE SPEEDS AND TAKEOFF SETTINGS. OPS CHECKS GOOD.
DISPLAY FAILED ON TAXI, SEC FLT DISPLAY CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED, ACRID ODOR IN COCKPIT BREAKER WAS NOT RESET. CONFIRMED FAILURE INSIDE INDICATOR. INSPECTED ALL SECONDARY FLIGHT DISPLAY WIRING. NO FAULTS FOUND. SECONDARY FLIGHT DISPLAY OPS CHECKS GOOD PER MM 34-21-14. INSTALLED OVERHAULED DISPLAY.
DURING TAKEOFF ROLL AT 50 KNOTS W/S AIR O-HEAT ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED, PERFORMED ABORT. WHEN POWER WAS REDUCED LIGHT WENT OUT. REMOVED WINDSHIELD BLEED AIR CONTROL VALVES DUE TO "OVERHEAT" ON TAKE OFF. INSTALLED OVERHAULED VALVE IAW MM 30-41-00, OPS CHECKED AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD.

CO-PILOT LT BRAKE IS (SOFT). [SUP 4-19-07] USED BRAKE BLEED PROCEDURE FOR ANTI-SKID SYSTEM FOR CO-PILOTS LT BRAKE IAW. CESSNA 560 MM 32-42-00 CHECKS GOOD.
LEVEL AT 13,000 MSL, RAPID PRESSURIZING OCCURRED. CABIN CLIMBED AT 6000 FPM. RATE OF CLIMB OR SOURCE SELECT KNOB HAS NO EFFECT. CABIN ATITUDE SELECTOR SET AT 400 MSL (BASICLLY SEA LEVEL). CABIN ALTITUDE STABILIZED AT AIRCRAFT ALTITUDE AND 13,000 MSL. OXYGEN MASKS IN REAR DID NOT DEPLOY. TROUBLESHOT TO L/H SQUAT SWITCH BEING OUT OF ADJUSTMENT. ADJUSTED SWITCH I/A/W 560 MM 32-61-00. RAN AIRCRAFT AND COMPLIED PRESSURIZATION SYS. OPS CHECK. OPS CHECKS GOOD. IAW MM 21-31-00. RETURNED TO DEPARTURE. EMERGENCY DECLARED.
CABIN ENTRY THRESHOLD CRACKED AT AFT STEP ATTACH BOLT HOLE. COMBINATION OF BOLT HOLE LOCATED IN RADIUS OF FRAME AND MATERIAL THICKNESS NOT SUFFICIENT TO SUPPORT WEIGHT OF PERSON ENTERING OR EXITING AIRCRAFT. RECOMEND STRENGTHING STRUCTURE, USING THICKER METAL. NOTE: HAVE FOUND THESE CRACKS ON MFG INSPECTION PHASE 5. APPROX 75 PERCENT OF AIRCRAFT INSPECTED ARE FOUND CRACKED. (K)
LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT AFTER T/O. RED -UNLOCK- LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED AS WELL AS THE LEFT MAIN -DOWN & LOCKED- LIGHT. AFTER RECYCLING THE GEAR, IT RETRACTED NORMALLY. THE -HYDRAULIC PRESS- LIGHT EXTINGUISHED AT THE NORMAL SEQUENCE. HEARD THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DRAGGING AND FELT THE YAW. EXTENDED/FUNCTIONED NORMALLY UPON LANDING, W/O ABNORMAL INDICATIONS. TROUBLESHOT MAIN LANDING GEAR SYSTEM AND FOUND A BROKEN WIRE ON LT UPLOCK SWITCH. REPAIRED WIRE AND PERFORMED OPS CHECK WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK DONE IAW CE 560 ULTRA MM 32-60-00.
LEFT MAIN WOULD NOT RETRACT. - PERFORMED GEAR SWINGS AND TROUBLESHOOTING IAW CE560 MM CHAPTER 32-30-00 WITH NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. SUSPECTED MLG RETRACT ACTUATOR, REMOVED LEFT MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR AND INSTALLED AN INSPECTED ACTUATOR IAW CE 560 MM 32-31-04. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY GEAR SWINGS AND LEAK CHECKS.
DURING SHUT DOWN, VERY STRONG BURNING RUBBER ODOR DETECTED COMING FROM OVERHEAD VENTS. AFTER SHUTDOWN INSPECTED AFT EQUIPMENT BAY AND NOTED VERY STRONG BURNING SMELL BUT COULD NOT DETERMINE WHICH COMPONENT. FOUND AIR CONDITIONING DRIVE MOTOR TO BE AT FAULT. REMOVED DEFECTIVE DRIVE MOTOR, INSTALLED OVERHAULED DRIVE MOTOR. ALL WORK PERFORMED IAW THE CESSNA 560 MM CHAPTER 21-52-00, PERFORMED ENGINE RUN UP, NO BURNING SMELL DETECTED.
BRAKES FAILED WHILE TAXIING, POWER BRAKE AND ANTI-SKID INOP, ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. FOUND BRAKE SYSTEM LEAKING FROM THE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM PUMP. REPLACED O-RING, BLED BRAKES & PERFORMED OPS AND LEAK CHECK, NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. ALL WORK WAS DONE IAW CESSNA 560 MM CHAPTER 32-42-00.
REMOVED IGNITER FOR PHASE 4 INSPECTION. DETERMINED CENTER ELECRTRODE MISSING. SUBMITTER STATED THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE NEW STYLE PLUG, TO PREVENT THIS. REPLACED PLUG WITH NEW. BORESCOPED ENGINE.
