BLEED AIR GASKET CRACKED AFTER 25 HOURS INSTALLED. FOUND GASKET TO BE EXCESSIVELY BRITTLE. AGE OF GASKET OR INSTALL UNKNOWN.
MAGNETOMETER MOUNTS (ELASTOMERIC) BROKEN WHICH MAY HAVE CAUSED BAD DATA TO BE SENT TO THE PRIMARY FLIGHT GENERATOR WHICH CAUSED A MISALIGNMENT WITH NUMBER TWO AHRU. REPLACED WITH NEW UNIT, CORRECTED PROBLEM.
WHEEL ASSY FAILED, SNOW CVD RNWY, MAX WT. AC TRVLD .5 MI AFTER FULL BRK BEFORE FAILURE.2ND WHL TO FAIL FRM OVHL BATCH. OUTER RIM TIRE BEADING AREA, EXTNDS LWR INTO MID SEC OF WHL ASSY. 187 LANDINGS SINCE INSTALL OF THIS WHEEL ASSY.
THIS PART WAS JUST OUT OF OVERHAUL. IT WAS THE FIRST LANDING AFTER INSTALLATION. THE WHEEL HALF FAILED AT BEAD HALF AND ABOUT ONE-THIRD OF THE WHEEL HALF BROKE OFF. AT THE MID-POINT OF THE BREAK, THE MATERIAL HAD A POLISHED LOOK AND APPEARED IT HAD BEEN WORKING PREVIOUS TO THE FAILURE. IT APPEARED THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A FLAW THAT WAS UNDETECTED IN THE INSPECTION. (X)
