GUC/DEN - FLT 7555 - AFTER TAKEOFF, THE LEFT ENGINE TORQUE DROPPED TO 1,450 POUNDS. THE AIRCAFT RETURNED TO THE FIELD WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE P3 LINE AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. (X)
Part: TRUSS — FAILED (ENGINE)
DURING COMPLIANCE INSPECTION OF AD 95-02-18 AREA A, RIGHT ENGINE INBOARD UPPER TRUSS WAS FOUND SHEARED AT THE RIVET USED TO SEAL LINSEED OIL. TRUSS WAS REPLACED ENGINE INSPECTED. AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR SERVICE. (M)

WHILE PERFORMING DETAIL INSPECTION, LT PROP GOVERNOR CABLE WAS FOUND TO HAVE THE OUTER CABLE HOUSING WORN THROUGH EXPOSING THE INNER CABLE. CABLE WAS WORN THROUGH WHERE IT ATTACHES TO RETAINER CLIP PART NR RA1039C. CABLE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED.
