Maintenance disclosures
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED AN INTERMITTENT FAULT WITH THE MAIN CABIN DOOR VENT SOLENOID AND THE MAINTENANCE CREW TROUBLESHOT THE SYSTEM BUT WAS UNABLE TO VERIFY THE FAULT. KNOWING THAT THE DOOR VENT SOLENOIDS HAVE A VERY HIGH FAILURE RATE, THE MAINTENANCE CREW ELECTED TO REPLACE THE SOLENOID WITH A NEW UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT A WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT 10000FT WITH NO OTHER ANNUNCIATORS. THE PRESSURIZATION GAUGE SHOWED NO PRESSURIZATION. THEY ALSO INDICATED THAT THEY COULD HEAR SOME TYPE OF PRESSURIZATION LEAK. THEY RAN THE CHECKLIST AND OPTED TO DIVERT AND LAND FOR MAINTENANCE CONSIDERATIONS. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR DETERMINED THAT THE CABIN ALTITUDE CONTROLLER WAS AT FAULT AND REPLACED IT WITH A NEW UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFTS PRESSURIZATION INDICATOR DID NOT SHOW CABIN PRESSURE ON NEEDLES, BUT THE AIRCRAFT WAS PRESSURIZED. THEY DIVERTED BACK TO THE AIRPORT FOR REPAIRS. THE MAINTENANCE PROVIDER REMOVED AND REPLACED THE CABIN ALTITUDE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE GAUGE WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
