IN CRUISE FLIGHT NOTICED NR 1 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE WAS RISING. REVIEWED E/P FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE. TEMPERATURE CLIMBED INTO THE RED MAX TEMPERATURE 132°. PERFORMED HIGH ENGINE OIL TEMP E/P. CONTACTED COMM CENTER AND INFORMED THEM OF SITUATION. SETUP FOR SINGLE ENGINE LANDING. BROUGHT NR 1 ENGINE BACK TO FLY. OIL TEMPERATURE WAS RISING BUT DID NOT GO RED. LANDED AND SHUTDOWN AIRCRAFT. REPLACED BYPASS VALVE AND PERFORMED GROUND RUN FUNCTION CHECK AND AN IN-FLIGHT OPERATIONAL CHECK. SYSTEM CHECKED GOOD.
COLLECTIVE LINK CAUTION ON PFD WITH COLLECTIVE DOWN AND LOCKED WITH ENGINES AT FLY. REPLACED TRANSDUCER.
LANDING GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT WITH HANDLE IN UP POSITION, BOTH UP AND DOWN LIGHTS ON. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED GEAR SELECTOR HANDLE ASSY, OPS CHECK AND GEAR SWINGS GOOD.
LANDING GEAR WILL NOT RETRACT WITH HANDLE IN UP POSITION, BOTH UP AND DOWN LIGHTS ARE ON. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE GEAR SELECTOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY.

DEN - FLT 7075 - SMELL BURNING INSULATION OF ELECTRICAL WIRES INSIDE COCKPIT. FOUND ESCAPE HATCH SEAL LEAKING WATER WHICH SHORTED SEVERAL OVERHEAD PANELS. REMOVED AND REPLACED OVERHEAD ESCAPE HATCH SEAL AND AFFECTED PANELS. AIR RETURN TO DENVER. (X)
DURING A SCHEDULED FLAP CHANGE, MAINTENANCE NOTED THE NR 3 ATTACH ARM CRACKED. CRACK EXTENDS 90-95 PERCENT THROUGH ARM FROM LEADING EDGE TO TRAILING EDGE. REPLACED FLAP, LAST C-CHECK C/W AT SAT ON 12/13/97. TMS ACCUMULATED SINCE LAST C-CHECK ARE 1990 HRS AND 2387 CYCLES. (M)
DEN - FLT 7435 - 'SMOKE LAV' CAUTION APPEARED WHILE TAXIING. F/A REPORTED SMOKE IN CABIN. INSPECTED LAV TRASH CAN FOR SMOKE/FIRE. NONE NOTED. SUBMITTER SUSPECTED LEFT PACK OVERHEATED. RAN AIRCRAFT WITH BOTH PACKS. NORMAL OPERATION OF HP FANS. NO DEFECTS NOTED. (X)
EN ROUTE FROM DEN TO DRO, THE FLIGHT CREW NOTICED ON THE FLAP POSITION INDICATION PORTION OF THE EICAS. SCREEN THAT THE RIGHT FLAP INDICATED A ONE DEGREE DEFLECTION AND THE LEFT FLAP WAS AT ZERO DEGREE DEFLECTION. THIS WAS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH A FAULT OR ASSEMTERY WARNING. THE FLIGHT CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO DEN. AIRCRAFT LANDED IN DENVER WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MX INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT IAW JIC 27-50-00. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PASSENGER DOOR HINGE WAS CRACKED APPROXIMATELY .5 INCH THROUGH OUTER LEG FLANGE TO EDGE OF PART. CRACK OCCURRED AT WEB A REA CLOSET TO THE AIRCRAFT AND HINGE ATTACH POINT.
DFW - FLT 9898 - TRAINING FLIGHT, ON APPROACH TO DFW, RT OIL PRESSURE DROPPED INTO THE CAUTION RANGE. CREW CONSULTED QRH AND FEATHERED ENGINE. OIL PRESSURE CONTINUED TO FALL AND ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN AND SECURED APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES FROM DFW. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED RT ENGINE AND FOUND OIL 5 QUARTS LOW. NO SIGNS OF OIL LEAK WERE IDENTIFIED. ENGINE WAS SERVICED WITH 5 QUARTS OF OIL AND GROUND RUN TO DETERMINE IF LEAKING. NO SIGNS OF LEAKAGE FOUND. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FLIGHT TRAINING STATUS. PART TOTAL CYCLES, 9,255.
NUMBER ONE POWER LEVER FROZE INFLIGHT. POWER LEVER FREED UP DURING DESCENT AND OPERATED NORMALLY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. NUMBER ONE POWER LEVER CABLE WAS LUBED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. NO FURTHER PIREPS THROUGH 2/9/97.
EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY PACKS ARE DEAD. AIRCRAFT FERRIED TO PDX FOR REPAIR, POWER SUPPLIES REPLACED AND LIGHTS OPS CHECKED GOOD.
SEA - CAS MESSAGE, NR 1 HX FAN INOP AND SMOKE IN CABIN. NR 1 HX FAN REPLACED AND FAN OPS CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PDX - FLOOR PROXIMITY LIGHTING IS INOP FROM ROW 1 TO ROW 3. THE CONNECTOR WAS FOUND LOOSE. CONNECTOR WAS RECONNECTED AND LIGHTS OPS CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
PDX - NUMBER ONE ENGINE INLET DE-ICE BOOT P/N 295-5D5240-211 FOUND DEBONDED AT LEFT HAND FORWARD SIDE OF BOOT. DEBOND WAS APPROX 12 SQ IN IN SIZE. REPLACED INLET ASSY I/A/W MAINT MANUAL. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
