UPON ARRIVAL AT KCVX, ENGINE NR 2 HUMMING NOISE PRESENT WHILE WIND MILLING W/ NO POWER ON IN AIRCRAFT. ON DEPARTURE, NR 2 ENGINE FAILED TO START FIRST TRY; NOTED N2 ROTATION BUT NO N1 OR FUEL FLOW. ENGINE STARTED ON SECOND ATTEMPT. IMMEDIATELY AFTER DEPARTURE NOTICED AN ABNORMAL MECHANICAL/BURNING SMELL THROUGHOUT CABIN AND COCKPIT. SMELL DISSIPATED AFTER 5 MINUTES. ALL ENGINE AND ELECTRICAL INDICATIONS NORMAL THROUGHOUT FLIGHT. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE NR 2 ENGINE IGNITION EXCITER W/ OVERHAULED ASSY IAW LM/M 74-10-01. ACCOMPLISHED MULTIPLE ENGINE STARTS IAW 71-00-01. OPS CHECK GOOD, NO ODORS. P/N OFF/ON: 500335-1 S/N OFF: NNA10120002 S/N ON: NNA16340112.
LANDING GEAR LEVER DISAGREE - NOSEWHEEL WOULD NOT SHOW DOWN.CREW DID DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.CREW MANUALLY EXTENDED LANDING GEAR AND LANDED SAFELY.PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL TEST OF LANDING GEAR EXTENSIONAND RETRACTION IN REF WITH EMBRAER PHENOM 300 AMM 32-31-00-720-801-A. OPS CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME
WHILE IN CLIMB FLT LVL 400-430 HAD CAS MESSAGES DUCT 1 OVER TEMP COME ON AND WITHIN ONE MINUTE HAD CAS MESSAGE DUCT 2 OVERTEMP COME ON AS WELL. ACCOMPLISHED THE QRH PROCEDURE WITH RESULTING PAX O2 MASKS DEPLOYMENT. FOUND RAM AIR VALVE FLAPPER BROKEN. REMOVED AND REPLACED RAM AIR VALVE ASSEMBLY AND OPS / LEAK CHECKED WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND IAW AMM 21-23-00 P/N 550-17170-401 S/N 0001016409
MISSED APPROACH AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE "LG LEVER DISAGREE" MSG AFTER SELECTING GEARDOWN. WITH A RED NOSE GEAR INDICATION. THE NOSE GEAR EXTENDED WITH A SAFE INDICATION AFTER PULLING THE FREE-FALL HANDLE. (ALL LANDING GEARS HAVE BEEN PINNED DUE TO EMERGENCY) AIRCRAFT RETURNED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REMOVED AND REPLACED NLG UPLOCK BOX ASSY. ALL OPS/FUNCTIONAL CHECKS GOOD NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME. GOOD TO CONTINUE. (ALL LANDING GEAR PIN HAVE BEEN REMOVED PRIOR TO FLIGHT).
CREW SAW WISP OF SMOKE AND BURNING ELECTRICAL ODOR IN COCKPIT. MADE UNSCHEDULED LANDING IN ABQ (EMERGENCY DECLARED FOR CLEARANCE PURPOSES). MAINTENANCE FOUND TERMINAL STRIP ON PILOTS WINDSHIELD BURNED OUT (TERMINAL STRIP IS FOR WINDSHIELD HEAT). NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED. ITEM DEFERRED PER MEL
PILOT REPORTED DURING CLIMB-OUT, PASSING THROUGH FL260, SMELLED STRONG ELECTRICAL ODOR IN COCKPIT. ACCORDING TO PILOT, ODOR WOULD DISSIPATE THEN RETURN STRONG. RAN CHECKLIST AND SHUTOFF LT PACK AND ODOR APPEARED TO DISSIPATE. COPILOT THOUGHT HE SAW PILOTS MFD FLICKER DURING FLIGHT, PILOT DID NOT. EMERGENCY DECLARED. NO PAX ON BOARD ACFT AT TIME OF EMERGENCY. NO SMOKE IN CABIN/COCKPIT. ENGINE PERIMETERS ALL GOOD. NO CAS MESSEGE. ENGINE/APU FIRE BOTTLES NOT DISCHARGED. INSPECTED AND CLEANED COALESCER SOCKS, EFIS DISPLAYS, COOLING VENTS AND TRU COOLING VENTS. CLEANED SOCKS AND FAN SCREENS AND NO DEFECTS NOTED. UNABLE TO FIND CAUSE OF ODOR.
LEFT NR 1 GEN FAIL ON TAKEOFF, WAS ABLE TO RESET. CREW ABORTED TAKEOFF AT 80 KTS AND RETURNED TO MAINTENANCE HANGER. MAINTENANCE FOUND IDG LOW ON OIL. SERVICED OIL AND FUNCTIONED CHECK PERFORMED WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES AFTER DEPARTURE, THE LT ENGINE TAILCONE OVERHEAT LIGHT ILLUMINATED, ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN, LIGHT WENT OUT AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE FIRE DETECTION ELEMENT WAS FOUND TO BE CHAFING ON THE ELEMENT COVER. REPOSITIONED ELEMENT AND SWAPPED NR 1 AND NR 2 FIRE DETECTION UNITS FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. OPS CHECKED ON ENGINE RUN AND FOUND NO OTHER DEFECT. AN IN FLIGHT TEST WAS PERFORMED AND WAS SATISFACTORY. FIRE DETECTION ELEMENT IMPROPERLY POSITIONED. (EA09200402432)
