SLAT FAIL AFTER TAKE OFF DECLARED EMERGENCY. FOUND R/H OUTBOARD SLAT SKEW SENSOR SHORTED. REMOVED AND INSTALLED SERVICEABLE HARNESS, OPERATED SLAT/FLAPS UP AND DOWN SEVERAL TIMES NO FAULTS NOTED IAW AMM 27-83-01. OP CK GOOD
