CREW REPORTED THAT WHILE EN ROUTE, THEY SENSED AN ELEC SMELL. AISLE FLOOR LIGHTS DID COME ON BUT THE CB POPPED. AFTER A RESET, THE SMELL RETURNED & CB POPPED AGAIN. THE CREW LANDED AS PLANNED, WITHOUT INCIDENT OR DECLARING AN EMER. FOUND THE FWD EMER BATTERY NR 1 WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE. BOTH FWD & AFT EMER BATTERIES NR 1 & 2 RESPECTIVELY, WERE R & R IAW AMM 33-52. OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD. THE NR 2 EMER BATTERY IS THE SAME PN AS NR 1, BUT WITH A SN OF 000556, WITH 5 MONTHS, 552.7 HRS & 363 CYCLES IN USE.

DURING MX INSPECTION OF HOT JUG INSTALLATION, PER FLIGHT OPTIONS FLEET CAMPAIGN, CONNECTOR 2530 P3 & J3 WERE FOUND TO BE INCORRECT & THE CONNECTOR SHOWED SIGNS OF ARCING, BURNT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE CONNECTOR, WIRING AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS PER THE ENGINEERING ORDER. OPS CHECKS WERE GOOD AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
