THERE WAS A REPORT THAT THE WINDOW AREA AT THE LT FORWARD OVERWING EXIT GOT HOT ENOUGH TO SCORCH THE SHADE AND PILLOW AT THE PASSENGER SEAT. NO SMOKE, FIRE, OR ODOR WAS OBSERVED. THE LEFT OVERWING HATCH AREA WAS INSPECTED AND SOME BROWN DISCOLORATION WAS FOUND. THERE WAS A SPOT AFT OF THE EXIT ON FUSELAGE INTERIOR THAT GOT EXCEPTIONALLY HOT. THE HATCH HEATERS CHECKED NORMAL. THE WINDOW SHADE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW MM 52-22-02. THE OVERTEMPERATURE THERMOSTATS WERE ALSO CHECKED AND FOUND NORMAL IAW MM 21-45-00. OPEN
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE TOP OF THE AFT GALLEY LEFT NR 1 OVEN DURING CLIMBOUT. BOTH UTILITY BUSSES WERE TURNED OFF AND THE AFT GALLEY OVEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS WERE PULLED. THE SMOKE DISSIPATED QUICKLY AND THE FLIGHT WAS CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER PROBLEM. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE OVEN FAN MOTOR BURNED OUT FOR OVEN 411. THE OVEN WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE GOOD.
THE L-4 DOOR ASSIST BOTTLE WAS FOUND TO HAVE ZERO PRESSURE. THE BOTTLE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW MM 52-11-30.
THE R-2 DOOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE FOUND INOPERATIVE. A NEW BATTERY PACK WAS INSTALLED IAW MM 33-51-07.
INSPECTION FOUND R-1 DOOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOPERATIVE. THE EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY CHARGER AT STA 340 (IN OVERHEAD AT FORWARD LAV & COCKPIT DOOR) WAS FOUND AT FAULT. THE CHARGER WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IAW MM 33-51-07.
