CORRECTIVE ACTION: GAINED ACCESS TO THE AIRCRAFT NOTING THE EMER LIGHTS ARE OFF WITH THE SWITCH IN THE OFF POSITION, WITH THE SWITCH IN THE ARM POSITION AND POWER OFF, THE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND WERE FLICKERING. WITH THE SWITCH IN THE ON POSITION AND POWER OFF, THE LIGHTS REMAINED ON AND WOULD CONTINUE TO FLICKER. GAINED ACCESS TO THE #1 AND #2 EMERGENCY BATTERIES AS REQUIRED. PERFORMED GVI OF BOTH BATTERIES WITH NO OBVIOUS DEFECTS. PER FIM TASK 33-50-00-810-801-A, TECHS NOTED THAT WITH ONLY THE #1 EMERGENCY BATTERY CONNECTED, THE SYSTEM WOULD OPERATE AS REQUIRED. WHEN ONLY THE #2 EMERGENCY BATTERY IS CONNECTED, THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS WOULD STAY ILLUMINATED IN THE ARM POSITION AND START TO FLICKER, PER FIM TASK 33-50-00-810-801-A, #2 EMERGENCY BATTERY IS FOUND TO BE FAULTY. CONTACTED MCC WITH FINDINGS AND ADVISED REPLACING BOTH THE #1 AND #2 EMER BATTERIES AT THIS TIME. MCC PLACED REPLACEMENT EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERIES (P/N 7450L5-00) ON ORDER. AWAITED PARTS, RECEIVED REPLACEMENT EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERIES AND VERIFIED PAPERWORK. REMOVED FAULTY #1 EMERGENCY BATTERY P/N 74501.S-00 S/N 007607 AND INSTALLED REPAIRED EMERGENCY BATTERY P/N 7450LS-0.2 VN 005547 IAW PHENOM 300 MM 33-52-01. REMOVED FAULTY #2 EMERGENCY BATTERY P/N 74501.5-00 S/N 007613 AND INSTALLED REPAIRED EMERGENCY BATTERY P/N 7450L5-00 S/N 005595 PER PHENOM 300 MM 33-52-01. PERFORMED THE OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS IAW PHENOM MM 33-52-01, WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED. CLOSED ALL ACCESS AS REQUIRED.

CHECKED ALL PORTABLE MONITORS, ALL CABIN LIGHTING, GALLEY EQUIP, ETC AND NO SMELLS NOTED IN COCKPIT OR CABIN. IAW AMM 21-20-00.

BATTERY REQUIRED CHARGE NEW BATTERY NOT FULLY INSTALLED ON MOUNTS ONLY CONNECTED OLD BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REMOVED REFER EMB505S AMM 33-50-00 NEW BATTERY PLACED ON ARM CHARGE SINCE 0400 HOURS 06-21-2021 IF LIGHTS-KEEP FLASHING POSSIBLY BATTERY BAD FROM STOCK OR MORE TROUBLESHOOTING REQUIRED FIM 33-50-00-810-8 PERFORMED EMERQENC LIAHTS OPERATIONAL CHECK AAAIN TO ISOLATE CAUSE OF . FLASHING LIGHTS. AS PER AMM INSTRUCTIONS, SELECTED EMER. LIGHTS SWITCH TO ON AND ALLOWED THE BATTERY TO DISCHARGE UNTIL THE FLIGHTS FLASH (ROUGHLY 25 MINS). NEXT,1 SET SWITCH TO ARM FOR 90 MINS TO CHARGE. LIGHTS STILL FLASHED, BUT AFTER CYCLING POWER, FLASHING GOES AWAY. HOWEVER, WHEN SETTING SWITCH TO ARM, N LIGHTS COME ON, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO STAY OFF AND STAY IN STANDBY CHARGING. REPEATED FIM PROCEDURE AGAIN. DISCONNECTED #2 BATTERY AND SET SWITCH ON ARM, THIS TIME THE LIGHTS STAY OFF IN STANDBY AS THEY SHOULD BE. RE-CONNECTED BATTERY AND CONFIRMED LIGHTS COME BACK ON IN ARM POSITION. BATTERY IS BAD FROM STOCK. INFORMED MCC AND ORDERED ANOTHER.REF AMM 33-52-01 REMOVED AND REPLACED EMEGENCY BATTERY #2 AS REQUIRED N

TRAVEL CHECKED GOOD FOR BOTH ELEVATORS & RUDDER. ELEVATOR SERVO OPS CHECKED GOOD. ELEVATOR & RUDDER CONTROL WHEELS OPS CHECKED GOOD. WORK DONE IAW MM 27-21-05.

THE LEFT AILERON PN 6524113-809, SN 258, HAD WEIGHTS (BALANCE) LOOSE IN THE INBOARD END CAP AND WERE BOUNCING AROUND LOOSE. THE LAST BALANCE WEIGHT CAME OFF OR PULLED THROUGH THE SMALL WASHER AND NUT THAT HOLD THE WEIGHT ON. THERE WAS SOME CORROSION, BUT NOT REALLY THE PROBLEM. THE SOLUTION WOULD BE TO HAVE A THIN ALUMINUM PLATE THE SAME DIMENSION AS THE WEIGHT COVER THE LAST PLATE, LIKE THEY DO ON SOME OTHER CITATION AILERONS AND ELEVATORS. (X)
