FALSE INDICATION, ENGINE FIRE WARNING ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT.
DURING PREFLIGHT, FOUND CRACK ON RT UPPER HORIZONTAL STABILIZER. MEASURED CRACK AT 70MM. AEC CRITERIA FOR BEYOND REPAIR IS 60MM.
DURING FLIGHT, CREW DETECTED A BURNING ODOR AND LOSS OF AIR CONDITIONING. INSPECTED AND DID NOT FIND EVIDENSE OF DEFECTS. ACFT RETURNED TO BASE. DURING FLIGHT TO BASE BURNING ODOR AGAIN. UPON LANDING AT BASE AIR CONDITIONER BELT WAS BURNED IN HALF. COMPRESSOR SEIZED UP. THE BELT WAS REMOVED AND THE SYSTEM DEFERRED UNTIL THE COMPRESSOR ARRIVES FROM THE PARTS VENDOR. THIS ACFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING SYS MEL'D.
PILOT AND CREW DETECTED A BURNING ODOR IN CABIN. RETURNED TO BASE AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. INSPECTED THE ENGINE BAY, MAIN GEARBOX AREA, UNDER CABIN FLOOR, BEHIND INSTRUMENT PANEL, IN BOTH SIDE CARGO BAYS, INSIDE THE AFT BAGGAGE BAY. NO DEFECTS NOTED. GROUND RAN ACFT IN NORMAL OPERATING MODE WITH AIR-CONDITIONER ON, NO BURNING ODORS NOTED. ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. SOURCE OF ODOR COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED.
NG INDICATOR DIGITAL READOUT IS DIFFICULT TO READ IN DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS.
MAST BOOT CAME FREE FROM ROTATING SWASH PLATE. A PIECE OF THE BOOT LOWER FLANGE TORE OFF AND DEPARTED THE ACFT MOST LIKELY HITTING THE P/C LINKS THAT CAUSED A VIBRATION FELT IN THE CYCLIC CONTROL STICK.
ENGINE CHIP LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING FLIGHT. AFTER LANDING, TECH FOLLOWED ALL PROCEDURES IN THE MM.
FOUND CRACK ON UPPER RIGHT SKIN OF HORIZONTAL STABILIZER DURING INSPECTION. HORIZONTAL STABILIZER WILL BE REPLACED/REPAIRED.
