THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED OF RECEIVING A CAS MESSAGE INDICATING THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD TRIPPED. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM FOUND THE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER UNIT TO BE CAUSING THE FDR CIRCUIT BREAKER TO TRIP. REMOVED AND REPLACED FDR WITH AN INSPECTED/TESTED UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE
FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE ICE DETECTOR 2 FAILED. OPERATIONS WERE CONTINUED ON MEL 30-80-1. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND THE #2 ICE DETECTOR INOP. THE DETECTOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH AN INSPECTED UNIT. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT THEY DIVERTED BACK TO KICT AFTER THE ILLUMINATION OF A #3 HYDRAULIC OVERHEAT INDICATION. THE LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THAT THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR VALVE WAS DEFECTIVE. THE VALVE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT PITCH NOSE UP/NOSE DOWN ERRATICALLY WITH AUTO-PILOT CONNECTED. AUTO-PILOT TRIM NOSE UP/ NOSE DOWN MESSAGE ILLUMINATED. OPERATIONS WERE CONTINUED PER MEL. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR DETERMINED AN AUTOPILOT SERVO WAS AT FAULT AND WAS REPLACED WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT. OPERATIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
DURING AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE APU WAS INOP. THE APU FAULT WAS DEFERRED BY MEL AND THE FLIGHT CONTINUED. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT AND DETERMINED THAT THE APU CONTROL UNIT HAD FAILED. THE DEFECTIVE ECU WAS REMOVED AND A TESTED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. THIS ACTION CLEARED THE MEL AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE APU BOTTLE LO CAUTION MESSAGE ILLUMINATED, THE MAINTENANCE DISCREPANCY WAS DEFERRED. THE MAINTENANCE TEAM COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE LOW BOTTLE PRESSURE. THE APU FIRE BOTTLE WAS REMOVED AND AN OVERHAULED UNIT WAS INSTALLED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. DEFECTIVE BOTTLE HAD BEEN IN SERVICE 4 OF 5 YEARS
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING POST-FLIGHT CHECKS FLUID LEAKING FROM OUT OF THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR FOUND THE RIGHT MLG ACTUATOR LEAKAGE WAS OUT OF LIMITS. THE RIGHT MLG ACTUATOR WAS REMOVED AND A TESTED ACTUATOR WAS INSTALLED. FUNCTIONAL CHECKS AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD AT THIS TIME. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT IN FLIGHT THE "TAIL TANK HEAVY AND TAIL XFER SHUTOFF VALVE CLOSED" ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR TROUBLESHOT COMPLETED TROUBLESHOOTING AND DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL COMPUTER P/N 736847-4 S/N 0247 WAS FAULTY. THE MAINTENANCE VENDOR REMOVED THE COMPUTER AND REPLACED WITH A REPAIRED UNIT. FUNCTIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY.
DURING A MAINTENANCE CHECK IT WAS FOUND THAT THE MAIN CABIN DOOR POWER ASSIST CABLE WAS SHOWING SIGNS OF FRAYING AND BROKEN STRANDS. THE CABLE WAS REPLACED. P/N 2R49573001-1
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING FLIGHT THE AC ESS BUS CAUTION MESSAGE ILLUMINATED IN FLIGHT. TROUBLESHOOTING DETERMINED THE CENTRAL BUS RELAY P/N HA4A039 AND VOLTAGE SENSOR RELAY B0804074-001 TO BE DEFECTIVE. INSTALLED NEW RELAYS. FUNCTIONAL CHECKS SATISFACTORY.
THE MAINTENANCE TEAM REPORTED THAT THE APU FIRE WARNING DISCHARGE BUTTON WILL NOT ILLUMINATE DURING LAMP TEST TROUBLESHOOTING DETERMINED THAT THE PUSH BUTTON SWITCH P/N 13740-002 WAS DEFECTIVE. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED WITH NEW. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY.
THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THAT DURING PREFLIGHT CHECKS IT WAS NOTED THAT THE APU LOAD CONTROL VALVE (LCV) OPERATIONS WERE INTERMITTENT. TROUBLESHOOTING DETERMINED THAT THE APU BLEED-AIR LCV. THE VALVE WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A REPAIRED CONTROL VALVE. OPS CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY.
