LOOSEN AND RELEASED THE JAMMED LED EMERGENCY LIGHT CONNECTOR, RESEAT THE LIGHT CONNECTOR CONNECTION. POWERED ON EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND VERIFIED THE EMERGENCY LIGHT OVER MED IS POWERED ON AND ILLUMINATING. RESECURED LIGHT WIRE HARNESS AND SECURED LED SIGN. ALL OPS CHECKED GOOD. WORK DONE IAW AMM 33-52-00.
REPEAT WRITEUP. HIGH PITCH NOISE FROM NOSE GEAR ON GROUND DURING HIGH SPEEDS. NO SHIMMY OR VIBRATION OR DIRECTIONAL CONTROL PROBLEMS NOTED. POST FLIGHT REVEALS NO APPARENT DAMAGE TO NOSE GEAR ASSEMBLY. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REMOVED NLG SHOCK STRUT WITH NLG SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY. INSTALLED "NEW" NLG SHOCK STRUT , WITH NLG SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY. ON TAXI OUT WHILE IN "ARM" THE EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM STARTED TO FLASH. VERIFIED FAULT. WHEN SELECTED TO ARM LIGHTS CAME ON & STAYED ON. DISCHARGED UNTIL LIGHTS BEGAN TO FLASH. CHARGED BATTERIES FOR 90 MINS & THE FAULT PERSISTED. MORE TROUBLESHOOTING NECESSARY, 2 EMERGENCY LIGHT POWER SUPPLIES ON ORDER. REMOVED FAULTY AFT EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY, INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY. REMOVED FWD BATTERY & INSTALLED TESTED BATTERY. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 33-52-01.
CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE "ON" WITH THE SWITCH IN THE ARMED POSITION. GAINED ACCESS TO A/C AND WE ARE ABLE TO DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. VISUAL INSPECTED (CIRCUIT BREAKER EMER LT ON RHCPB/ EMERGENCY BUS/ D27) AND FOUND CLOSED AND SECURED. GAINED ACCESS TO FWD EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY IAW EMB 505 AMM 35-52-00-710-801-A BY REMOVING COCKPIT ENTRANCE FLOOR BOARD AND FOUND CONNECTOR RESECURED. ALSO GAINED ACCESS TO AFT BATTERY PACK ON RH AFT AVIONIC AND MX BAY AND FOUND CONNECTOR RECURED AND CLEAN.. PERFORMED EMERGENCY LIGHT EXERCISE PROCEDURE PER TASK NO TC-E50-33-1001, PROBLEM PERSIST. ALSO PERFORMED OPS CK SELECTING SWITCH ON ARM POSITION WITH ONE POWER SUPPLY CONNECTED AT THE TIME. ALSO GAINED ACCESS TO THE INERTIAL SWITCH. REMOVING RH LATERAL CONSOLE IAW AMM TASK 25-13-02-000-801-A/400). FOUND CONNECTOR RESECURED. TC-E50-33-1001 FOLLOWING FIM, FIM-4885 33-50-00-810-801-A. WE DID STEP 1 TO 5 WITH THESE RESULTS. WHEN DISCONNECT EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY #2 WE GET NO LIGHTS, RECONNECTED BATTERY #2. CONTINUE TO DISCONNECT EMERGENCY BATTERY #1 AND WE GET LIGHTS "ON" FOR AROUND 5 SEC. IN ARM POSITION. BATTERIES WERE SWAPPED AND WE GET SAME RESULTS AS ORIGINAL POSITIONS. ALSO VERIFY ELECTRICAL EMERGENCY PUSH BOTTOM AND ITS UNLATCHED. PERFORMED INERTIAL SWITCH REACTIVATION AND PROBLEM PERSIST. REPO EVERYTHING BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. R&R #1 AND #2 EMERGENCY BATTERY. OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME IAW EMB 505 AMM 33-52-01-960-801-A. ORIGINAL SUBMISSION DATE: 8/17/2023.

DOING SO DROVE CABIN & COCKPIT FULL HOT TO REMOVE ALL ASSEMBLY COATING FROM THE PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED PRE-COOLERS AFTER 10-15 MINUTES SMELL OR ODOR DISAPATED. RAN ENGINES FOR ADDITIONAL 2 HOURS AT DIFFERENT POWERS SETTINGS. NO ODOR NOTED PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IAW MM 36-11-00 ,OPS CHECK GOOD. FOUND LT SWITCH OUT OF ADJUST. TESTED LT SQUAT SWITCH FOR INTERNAL RESISTANCE. FOUND LT SQUAT SWITCH HAD HIGH INTERMITTANT RESISTANCE. REMOVED & INSTALLED A NEW SWITCH. RIGGED LT SQUAT SWITCH. TESTED RIG ON RT SQUAT SWITCH. FOUND OUT OF RIG. RIGGED RT SQUAT SWITCH. PERFORMED MLG SWINGS & ANTI-SKID OPS TESTS. CHECKED GOOD IAW MM 32-61-00.
LT MAIN GEAR DID NOT RETRACT ON TAKEOFF (CONFIRMED BY INDICATOR LIGHTS, TOWER AND WIND NOISE). AFTER ABOUT 2 MIN RETRACTED BY ITSELF, WITHOUT US CYCLING THE GEAR. REMOVED LT MAIN GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH DUE TO HIGH RESISTANCE. INSTALLED NEW SWITCH AND ADJUSTED IAW MM 32-61-00, OPS CHECKED GOOD.
ON DEPARTURE WHEN GEAR HANDLE SELECTED TO UP, THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT NOSE GEAR RETRACTION DELAY. THE NOSE GEAR GREEN DOWN INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED AND RED UNSAFE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED FOR 30-40 SECONDS AFTER GEAR RETRACTION BEFORE IT EVENTUALLY RETRACTED. THE MAIN GEAR GREEN LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED NORMALLY. JACKED ACFT AND CYCLED GEAR REPEATEDLY. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED. ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. INSPECTED WIRING AND CONNECTORS IN GEAR WHEEL WELL WITH NO DISCREPANCIES FOUND. FROZE DOWNLOCK SWITCH AND CYCLED GEAR NUMEROUS TIMES. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY. WORKED REF MM 32-30-00.
