ODORS IN COCKPIT / CABIN: IN FLIGHT PIC SMELLED FUMES RESEMBLING BURNING RUBBER, BUT SIC COULD NOT SMELL IT. THE SMELL PASSED, BUT RE-APPEARED ON ARRIVAL INTO KTEX STRONGER THAN BEFORE. UPON LANDING A VERY STRONG SMELL OF FUMES RESEMBLING BURNING RUBBER/WIRES WAS SMELLED IN THE BAGGAGE AREA AND APPEARS TO BE COMING FROM THE VCS OUTLETS ON THE LEFT REAR FUSELAGE, OR THE BAGGAGE AREA. SMELL PERSISTS 25 MINUTES AFTER LANDING. PERFORMED THE FIM TASK21-20-00-810-801, FIM TASK31-41-00-810, AMM-21-52-00/600, AMM-21-52-01-200-801-A, AMM-21-52-01-210-801-A, TASK 21-23-05-214-801-A, ALL WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED, RAN ENGINES FOR AN HOUR, NO DEFECTS NOTED AT THIS TIME.
STRONG MUSTY ODOR LIKE WET SOCK WHEN AIR-CONDITIONING TURNED ON. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE FWD EVAPORATOR UNIT AND THE RECEIVER DRYER ASSY WITH NJA SUPPLIED NEW PARTS. SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONAL CHECKS/ FUNCTIONAL CHECKS WERE PERFORMED. REF. NLG: UPON RETRACTION AFTER LIFTOFF MAIN GEAR CAME UP AND LOCKED, NOSE GEAR DID NOT FULLY RETRACT AND WE RECEIVED A RED/WHITE CHECKERED INDICATION ON NOSE GEAR LIGHT AS WELL AS RED MESSAGE "LDG LEVER DISAGREE" WE FOLLOWED THE CHECKLIST FOR GEAR ISSUES AND IT ALLOWED FOR A CYCLE. WE SELECTED THE GEAR HANDLE DOWN AND RECEIVED ALL THREE GREEN DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATIONS. NOT WANTING TO CAUSE ANY MORE ISSUES, WE ELECTED TO FLY PLANE WITH GEAR DOWN TO PBI. (100 MILES). KEPT SPEED AT 200 KNOTS OR LESS. LANDED WITH NO ISSUES. AFTER WALK AROUND NOTICED DARK GREEN GREASE AROUND NOSE GEAR FAIRING STRUT WHICH MAY BE FROM THE GEAR EXTENDED AT 200 KNOTS. PICTURES INCLUDED. // SIGNOFF// TROUBLESHOT IAW EMB-505 FIM 32-61-00-810-809-A NO DEFECTS FOUND. SERVICED HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR IAW EMB-505 AMM 12-13-00. BLED HYDRAULIC SYS IAW EMB-505 AMM 29-10-00. PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF LANDING GEAR EXTENSTION AND RETRACTION SYSTEM IAW EMB-505 AMM 32-31-00. FUNCTIONAL CHECK GOOD
AFTER LEVEL-OFF AT FL290, DUCT 1 OVERTEMP CAS MESSAGE DISAYED. RAN THE QRH AND RETURNED AND LANDED WITH NR 1 ENGINE IDLED PER QRH. WE WERE ABLE TO SMELL THE HOT CONDITION IN. PERFORMED CMC DOWNLOAD AND SENT TO CONTACT CENTER FOR EVALUATION. CONTACT CENTER SUGGESTED TO SWAP TMV'S ONLY IF THE DISCREPANCY CAN BE DUPLICATED. PERFORMED ENGINE RUN OPS CHECKS AND WE COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. PER MCCS REQUEST, RELEASING AIRCRAFT AS CND. REF AMM 21-61-02.
FLAP FAIL YELLOW CAS: FLAPS FAILED BETWEEN THE 1 AND 2 POSITION. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE FLAP SYSTEM WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED PERFORMED OPS CHECKS WITH GPU & WHILE ENGINES RUNNING NEVER GOT FLAP FAIL CAS MESSAGE NOTIFIED MCC OF FINDINGS ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE FLAPS IAW AMM 27-50-00-710-801-A WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE FLAP FAIL CAS MESSAGE UNDER GUIDANCE FROM MCC CHANGED FCE 1 WITH CUSTOMER SUPPLIED REPAIRED UNIT IAW PHENOM 300 AMM 27-03-01-400-801-A ALL FOLLOW ON OPS CHECKS PASSED PERFORMED FLAP RIGGING IAW PHENOM 300 AMM 27-50-00-870-801-A NO DEFECTS NOTED FLAP FAIL CAS MESSAGE IS NOT PRESENT.
IN FLIGHT, WITH EMER LTS IN THE ARM POSITION, ALL MAIN CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE ILLUMINATED. ABOUT 50 MIN INTO THE FLIGHT AT FL400 THE CABIN EMERGENCY LIGHTS BEGAN TO FLICKER. REPLACED THE NO.1 AND NO.2 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERIES WITH TESTED UNITS IAW PHENOM 300 AMM TASK 33-52-01/400. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECK IAW TASK 24-41-00-860-802-A/200. ALL OPERATION IS NORMAL AT THIS TIME P/N OFF 6450LS-00 S/N'S ON 001181,001526,001693,001102. .
