PILOT HAD TO USE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION IN ORDER TO EXTEND GEAR. THE CO2 BOTTLE DISCHARGED, BUT THE PRIORITY VALVE DID NOT WORK. THE CABLE RIGGING WAS INCORRECT DUE TO CABLE SLIPPAGE WHEN RING WAS PULLED. HYDRAULIC POWER PACK WAS REPLACED DUE TO INTERNAL PROBLEMS. IMPROPER EMERGENCY CABLE RIGGING OR CABLE SLIPPAGE MADE FOR INCORRECT EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION.
AIRCRAFT WAS ON A PART 91 TRAINING FLIGHT. ON APPROACH TO AIRPORT, PILOT PUT THE LANDING GEAR LEVER DOWN. LANDING GEAR WENT DOWN, BUT DID NOT GET A GREEN (NOSE DOWN AND LOCKED LIGHT). THE PILOT RECYCLED THE LANDING GEAR. THE LANDING GEAR CAME DOWN, BUT, AGAIN, NO NOSE GEAR GREEN LIGHT. THE PILOT VERIFIED THAT THE NOSE GEAR WAS DOWN WITH (GEAR VERIFICATION MIRROR). HE LANDED NORMALLY, ON LANDING THE NOSE GREEN LIGHT CAME ON. POWER PACK BYPASSING INTERNALLY.
DURING TAKEOFF, THE RIGHT FUEL CAP COVER OPENED AND FUEL STARTED COMING OUT. PILOT RETURNED TO SECURE THE FUEL CAP, AND ADD APPROXIMATELY 10 GALLONS OF FUEL.
