WITH SWITCH IN ARM POSITION CABIN AND EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE ILLUMINATED. DURING LAST FLIGHT PASSENGERS HIGHLIGHTED EMERGENCY LIGHTS FLASHED PERIODICALLY DURING THE PERIOD 25 MIN BEFORE LANDING UNTIL WE TURNED THEM OFF FOR ENGINE SHUTDOWN. REPLACED BATTERIES. OPS CHECK GOOD. IAW PHENOM 300 AMM 33-52-01.

ON DEPARTURE, WE NOTICED A BURNING OIL SMELL THAT PERMEATED THE CABIN AND DISSIPATED OVERTIME. DURING CRUISE THERE WAS NO SMELL, BUT IT DID COME BACK ON DESCENT DURING ARRIVAL. PERFORMED CLEANING OF THE FWD AND AFT CABIN EVAPORATORS. BLEW DRAIN LINES CLEAR OF DEBRIS AND CLEANED FINS AS NEEDED. WORK PERFORMED IAW AMM 21-52-03.
WHEN SWITCH IS IN ARM POSITION, EMERGENCY LIGHTS FLASH. BEGAN TROUBLESHOOTING & CONNECTED GPU TO ACFT. APPLIED ELECTRICAL POWER & TURNED EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON, ALL LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THEN TURN LIGHTS TO ARM & LIGHTS ILLUMINATED FOR APPROX 3 MINS & BEGAN TO FLICKER. COMPLIED WITH TC-505·33·200403 EMERGENCY LIGHTS BATTERY TOP CHARGE. REV 0. LEFT LIGHTS SWITCH TO ARM WITH POWER APPLIED FOR HALF HOUR, LIGHTS CONTINUED TO FLICKER, LEFT LIGHT SWITCH TO ARM WITH POWER SUPPLIED FOR ANOTHER HOUR & LIGHTS CONTINUED TO FLICKER. REMOVED CONNECTOR TO NR 2 BATTERY & LIGHT STOPPED FLICKERING. SUSPECT NR 2 BATTERY FAILURE, REMOVED NR 2 BATTERY & INSTALLED REPAIRED BATTERY. INSTALLATION & OPS CHECKS GOOD IAW MM 33-52·01.
THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED WHEN THE EMER LT SWITCH IS IN THE ARM POSITION UNDER MAIN DC POWER. THE LIGHTS TURN OFF PROPERLY WHEN SELECTING THE SWITCH TO OFF.//CORRECTIVE ACTION// REMOVED AND REPLACED BOTH #1 & #2 EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERIES. NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. PNEUMATIC DISTRIBUTION: DURING INITIAL CLIMBOUT AND FLAP RETRACTION, A VERY STRONG ODOR WAS DETECTED BY BOTH PILOTS. IT LASTED ABOUT 45 SECONDS WITH NO SMOKE PRESENT. THE SMELL SUBSIDED AS WE RETURNED TO NASSAU. // SIGNOFF // PER EMBRAER CONTACT CENTER CASE # EEJ-04197444 PERFORMED FIM 21-20-00-810-801-A AND NOTED NO DEFECTS. COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY FOR PRECAUTIONARY REASON GAINED ACCESS TO AND CLEANED THE AVIONICS BLOWERS FAN IAW PHENOM 300 AMM 31-41-07 AND NOTED NO DEFECTS.
MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR DIFFICULT TO OPEN. SIGN-OFF. INSPECTED MAIN DOOR, NOTED LUBRICATION A LITTLE DRY ON THE ESSENTRIC BUSHING AND LOCK PINS. CLEANED AND LUBED BUSHING/LOCK PINS, AS REQUIRED. DOOR OPERATES SATISFACTORY. ALL WORK DONE PER PHENOM 300 AMM 55-1-23.
DURING ACCOMPLISHMENT OF EMBRAER SERVICE BULLETIN 505-55-0004 REV 01 (DATED 06/24/2020) WE NOTED THE FOLLOWING MASS BALANCE WEIGHTS BELOW TOLERANCE AT LEFT ELEVATOR: ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS PART NUMBER PE915109-L33 (15 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 84G); HORN MASS WEIGHT PART NUMBER PE915109-L42 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 1095G). ALL WEIGHTS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW MASS WEIGHTS AND THE ELEVATOR BALANCING WAS PERFORMED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. THE ELEVATOR WAS RE-IDENTIFIED TO PART NUMBER 505-11082-601, AS PER SERVICE BULLETIN INSTRUCTIONS. WE ALSO NOTED THE FOLLOWING RIGHT ELEVATOR MASS BALANCE WEIGHTS BELOW TOLERANCE: ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS PART NUMBER PE915109-L33 (13 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 84G); HORN MASS WEIGHT PART NUMBER PE915109-L42 (1 EACH BELOW MINIMUM OF 1095G); ALL WEIGHTS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW MASS WEIGHTS AND THE ELEVATOR BALANCING WAS PERFORMED WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED. THE ELEVATOR WAS RE-IDENTIFIED TO PART NUMBER 505-11082-602, AS PER SERVICE BULLETIN INSTRUCTIONS. THIS REPORT COMPLIES WITH FAA 14 CFR PART 135 OPERATORâS GMM REQUIREMENTS.
